Before ordering, I needed more detailed photos of the wiring harness to determine whether I could make it work with my mower. I figured it might be a long shot, but I called and spoke with Anna. I asked if it would be possible to get some close-up photos of the wiring harness. She immediately said, "Of course," took my email address, and within about 15 minutes I had several clear, detailed photos in my inbox. This may sound like a simple thing, but this level of customer service is becoming increasingly rare. Anna was helpful, responsive, and went out of her way to get me exactly the information I needed. That kind of service makes a big impression and gives me confidence doing business with Surplus Center

I purchased a large hydraulic cylinder and nowhere in the description did it indicate the rod was HOLLOW. When it failed, Surplus Center said they couldn't find the item despite my providing the order number and basically said it wasn't their problem. Be very wary and circumspect when dealing with Surplus Center, flood them with every possible question before buying as their descriptions can leave out vital information, whether by design or just as an oversight.
