Just had a fun day with my wife and spent a little time in Scheels. What a great store. We rode the ferris wheel, had a little ice cream, bought some bulk candy from the shop and toured the large animal display. All while browsing the store. Scheel's is an outdoor lovers dream. This 200,000 square foot building sells high quality shoes, clothes, home goods, sports gear and more! There's so many great things to say about this facility, but a few of my favorites worth mentioning are; the aquarium with live fish near the entrance, the candy shop and cafe located inside, as well as their 65 foot indoor Ferris wheel. Pro tip; if you eat at the cafe and order a kids meal, you get a token, which is good for a kids ice cream or free Ferris wheel ride. It doesn't expire either. Such a cool concept. There's a mini bowling alley upstairs along with arcade games, photo opportunities and animals. My toddler loves coming here often. There are so many friendly employees. The price point for items are normally on the pricey side, but you're paying for good quality. read more

A lot of selection, but hard to find . . . anything. Just spent over 30 minutes looking for a dressing room. I almost took my items (about 10 total) to a restroom, but couldn't find one! Maybe they want you to buy their stuff, take it home and if it doesn't fit return it? Don't know. Gonna go to a smaller store where you can easily find what you want. read more

Scheels is the 10th wonder of the world. This store was the apex of my first visit to Nebraska. The customer service was impeccable, and any question I could have had was answered before I could think it. The fudge and S'oreo were incredible at the little cafe . Tried ordering a kayak online and kept getting the same error on diffrent cards so I emailed them and they sent me a link to go through. Put in all of my info and said payment complete then shortly after I received an email saying their system stopped it from going through but now it's a pending charge on my card holding up over 3 grand. All the guy suggested next was to call the store but that wouldn't help since they already have the money held up. Will never shop with this company again. read more

Just came here to comment about dogs and, OMG... saw the previous reviewer had already mentioned this strange trend!!! I visited Scheels a couple weeks and there were so many dogs, and two of them got into a pretty serious fight! Got my kid away from there as soon as possible, but I would've felt really uncomfortable if he was still younger in a baby stroller. read more

Absolutely wonderful store with great employees, prices and selection. Unfortunately, it has been WRECKED by suddenly turn into a dog-walking destination! I don't know what has happened, but in the last few months, you cannot go there without everyone having their dog walking around on a leash. And these are clearly not ADA-defined service animals, or $2,000+ registered hunting pointers in the dog training aisle, but just people's pets and lap dogs that they think are appropriate to have in a store that sells clothing and food. I recently saw one lady trying to leash-train her puppy and the dog peed a bit on the floor. This is gross. Why can Scheels management not GROW A SPINE and limit pets to true service animals under the legal definition? read more

The service is good they definitely help you but they don't go over the top for you and sometimes they are a bit rude but other then that they're nice and they help you a lot too the stuff they have is cool read more

I had quite possibly the BEST shopping experience of my life today with Darren Harper at the SouthPointe Pavilions Scheels. You need to know about it, because I want the same for you. I walked in just to browse some guns and was immediately - that's immediately - greeted with the friendliest possible attitude by Darren. When he found out I was a newbie to the sport, this man really spent over twenty minutes to chat with me about my favorite pistols and rifles and led me to all the newest releases they've got in the store. He had EXCELLENT recommendations, too. I was very impressed and I have a lot of homework to do. There were many moments like I was at a museum and not a department store, because Darren explained about the unique history of the different guns. He was really funny and charismatic. I truly appreciate his patience with me, answering all of my questions. I'll most definitely be back to this Scheels to shop specifically with Darren - I want to buy several firearms he recommended. This is my very first yelp review but I just had to write one about my experience! Kenzie at fuzzywigs was such a delight! Not only did she have a great attitude and knowledge on the products, you could tell she held Scheels pride and really cared about her position at this company. There were two other girls that didn't seem to care and were kind of blowing off the costumers, but Kenzie was more than happy to help. She definitely outshined. Glad to see people loving their jobs. read more

BE CAREFUL if you are a person of color or a dark-skinned individual ESPECIALLY if you are a black person....this store does not like that. They will FOLLOW you in multiple aisles and send managers to ask you multiple questions. It's eerily like the Twilight Zone every time that I enter this place to the point I stay away now. Why are poc and especially BLACK PEOPLE being followed aisle to aisle and being watched like we are going to steal and run? Use your heads and realize not every stereotype you read or hear is true.... This "business" is ridiculous. I bet I'm NOT the only black person with this experience I'll be reaching out to them as well to share their experiences specifically at this store. Yuck. read more

Scheels is amazing. Their customer service is the best I've seen and they're product are top notch. It is definitely a higher end retailer but you do get what you pay for (service and quality of product). The archery department is unrivaled carries the best bows and has an incredibly helpful staff. They can be very busy so off hours are preferred if you need a lot of support. read more

Outside of the stinking parking garage tax added on to your bill.... I have no complaints. With five active children our family is in this store two times a week... sometimes more. Ugh!!! I appreciate the low turn over rate on employees because you get to know them well enough that they become almost like personal shoppers. I appreciate their hours and I love the newer second floor checkouts! The bathrooms are always clean( although I prefer paper towels AND air dry to just the air dry only offered) and The aquarium fish and bowling and video games throughout the store make it a top notch shopping experience! read more

The yelp app makes you give them at least one star, otherwise I would have given none. I bought work boots from them. They didn't have my size. Ok fine. So we ordered them. No one told me that it would take a month to get them. I paid for them in the store on June 6th and it was a Wednesday and I have still not received them it is now June 25th. They told me when I called that I still won't t have them for a week, because they had to order from the Company directly. All I know is that I could have ordered them from the company myself and received them faster. Customer service was nice but when I asked why it was taking so long they all sounded like robots with the same script. Highly do not recommend and therefore will never go back. read more
