They also had several clearance racks for clothing. However, if you need something bigger or out of the ordinary, you'd be better off going to an REI or a Cabela's or a Scheel's or whatever you have in your area. Honestly, the biggest turn-off for me was price. I only bought one bag worth of basic hiking gear and it ran me up into the triple-digits. I do need them, and I wasn't able to get to a bigger store, but still. They are a little overpriced.

Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience when I back less than 24 hours later to return items. I was met by a very aggressive woman with glasses and a beanie. She told me she could not do anything for my boots return because I had worn them for one day, despite telling her they were super tight and hurting my ankles. She refused to call her district manager or customer service or anyone to get another opinion. She told me I needed to call customer service myself if I had an issue. She then tried to correlate my attempted return to the same as someone she dealt with prior that was arrested and in jail and tried to return the shoes with an unknown substance on them?? This woman clearly needs retrained and or removed from this position. She had ZERO empathy for my situation and seemed to be worried about a $225 return then making a customer happy. I know I am going to seriously reconsider future shopping at 5.11 because of her horrendous attitude and ability to be flexible and problem solve. I called customer service after I left the store and they immediately processed a return and refund. Wow, see there is an exception to most situations.
