My husband completely customized his Samuelsohn suit, they have so many fabric types and Charlie is great about suggesting what patterns and colors to mix. Anything you want to know about good men's clothing, go ask Charlie. The price is high, we paid around $2000 for a 2 piece suit and tie, but for a custom suit (custom lining, name embroidered inside, custom pockets, everything) you should expect to pay more. Jerry Ryan had each guy stop in for a fitting for each item, and they all raved about the service they received there! I stopped in to look at hats as I lost a hat recently riding on the train. The thing about this place - they have really great prices when things are on sale, but in my opinion the regular prices can be high. I have a lot of clothes from here because they - get this - have women's jeans and cargo pants that have deep pockets! And as a bonus, MOST of them don't reveal my backside when I bend down. Though one pair of jeans did so make sure you try things on. Sizing can be inconsistent or strange. Their shirt sleeves are usually not quite long enough for me. Their cargo pants are available in 3 lengths (each 1 inch apart). I wear the medium length. Since I am 5'9", I think average-sized women might have trouble getting the right length in pants (though the shirt sleeves might be good). Also, these knit hats. I love them, I have (had) 4 of them. But 2 of them stretched out so much I had to put some stitches in them. And maybe I should have done that on the other, maybe I wouldn't have lost it on the California Zephyr.
