My husband completely customized his Samuelsohn suit, they have so many fabric types and Charlie is great about suggesting what patterns and colors to mix. Anything you want to know about good men's clothing, go ask Charlie. The price is high, we paid around $2000 for a 2 piece suit and tie, but for a custom suit (custom lining, name embroidered inside, custom pockets, everything) you should expect to pay more. We certainly got what we paid for, a beautiful custom suit that he can wear for years to come. We can't wait to return!

Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience when I back less than 24 hours later to return items. I was met by a very aggressive woman with glasses and a beanie. She told me she could not do anything for my boots return because I had worn them for one day, despite telling her they were super tight and hurting my ankles. She refused to call her district manager or customer service or anyone to get another opinion. She told me I needed to call customer service myself if I had an issue. She then tried to correlate my attempted return to the same as someone she dealt with prior that was arrested and in jail and tried to return the shoes with an unknown substance on them?? This woman clearly needs retrained and or removed from this position. She had ZERO empathy for my situation and seemed to be worried about a $225 return then making a customer happy. I know I am going to seriously reconsider future shopping at 5.11 because of her horrendous attitude and ability to be flexible and problem solve. I called customer service after I left the store and they immediately processed a return and refund. Wow, see there is an exception to most situations.

So I was quite excited to see the Westroads Mall get a BoxLunch location. The staff here was absolutely killing it with service, even with the busy atmosphere of it being a shiny new store with all the fandoms people collect and love. Honestly it felt very much like a Hot Topic, like the signage and the layout seemed to be almost the exact same. Which makes sense as BoxLunch is a subsidiary of Hot Topic - I just thought there would be a little more of a difference. They had a significantly less "edgy" vibe compared to Hot Topics that I've visited before. Consequently, the atmosphere in this store is more relaxed and conducive to shopping. They also have their own exclusive items that aren't the same as Hot Topic (like POPs and Loungefly stuff). It seems to be slightly pricier than similar items I've seen at comparable shops that sell branded and collectible items. I'd still recommend checking out BoxLunch though, as it's cool to see items in person vs. only online. Make sure to bring your bigger pocketbook, both because they have a lot of neat stuff you'll be tempted by and because those things will not be the most inexpensive collectibles you've ever seen!

We explained to multiple workers beforehand that we were getting married in Cancun and no one would be able to return until the Monday after our wedding (we married on a Saturday). This isn't location specific as the groomsmen were from all over the place, but my suggestion is get that in writing so they cannot fight it. Jerry Ryan had each guy stop in for a fitting for each item, and they all raved about the service they received there! Jerry Ryan also helped to get our ushers dressed too, with the same suit pants as the groomsmen, grey vests, and bowties, to delineate them from the groomsmen. While I didn't get to wear any of the items myself, I can attest to how happy I was with the result and how great ALL the fellas looked at the wedding - all thanks to Jerry Ryan!

As fortunes would have it, my brother passed and I really wanted to show the proper respect to my brother. I requested a "rush" on the final cut of the suit. "No problem we will make it happen, sorry for your loss." Got my new suit with over a day to spare. Fit is perfect. If I am ever in need of formal wear, this is the ONLY place I will shop. Customer service was way beyond what I expected.
