I wish I was close enough to be able to actually go there and visit with everyone but I'm not :( I've been an online customer for a few years and they are all rock stars! They always go above and beyond and I usually find surprise goodies in my shipments. We're a military family and even when we lived overseas, they didn't hesitate when asked to ship to an APO box. Scott and Karissa are the two I've dealt with the most and are equally awesome! I always try to see if they have something I'm looking for before shopping elsewhere. More businesses should copy their customer service skills! read more

I've been buying purses from Material Girl for over a year, and I have never met a company that is SO nice, so customer friendly, and no helpful. I live out of state, so I'm always communicating with Scott (the owner) via email and their website. They price match, no hassle returns (I returned a wallet I didn't like), and they actually REMEMBER me, my previous orders, and my preferences. I wasn't greeted by anyone for almost two minutes, maybe three, while they talked amongst themselves. My greeting was, "Are you shopping for something in particular?" To which I replied, "No." I really wasn't. If I find something I like, I buy it. It's simple for me. When I did find a shirt I liked, I was confused by the sizing "00". I asked the associate, "Gabby", if a "00" was equivalent to an XL in other stores. She said it was a size 10. I asked her again, "So what is the equivalent for an XL. I've never seen a size 10 on a shirt so I'm asking what size I would need." And she disrespectfully said, "And I'm asking you what size you normally wear in other stores." I told her AGAIN a size XL. She finally answered the question by telling me, "Then you'd be a 1 in our store." I put back the shirt and left. Her customer service was a nonexistent and I'm beyond offended. She shouldn't even be employed in a store if she's unwilling to explain sizing that's different than other establishments. It wasn't even a big deal. Why did it need to come to me writing a review and leaving the store empty handed?

We always get something special like peaches or fresh tomatoes. For only $15 a week (paid in a lump sum at the beginning of the summer) it's so worth it. We always have something local to have with dinner!

We finally stopped in at Wenninghoff's after two years of driving by and saying, "We should go…read morethere sometime." I'm glad we did! The market is packed with locally made and grown products. We picked up some sandwich pickles, local honey, and a massive seedless watermelon. Prices on some items were a little higher than expected, but given they're local, I didn't mind paying a bit extra--it feels good to support nearby farmers and makers. That said, there are a few things I'd probably skip. One thing to note: they add a $1 fee for card transactions, so if you want to avoid that, bring cash!

I received my first order from Material Girl last week. It came 2-3 days after I ordered it. They were fast friendly and everything went smooth. When I called I had a question and the girl that answered the call thought the owner Scott could better answer all my questions. He had stepped out for a little bit. As soon as he got back and got my message he called me right be right away. Then I was was not able to answer. Long story short as soon as I called him back he took the call right away. Stayed on the phone with me awhile. He listened to my story and helped me from start to finish. Most "owners" wouldnt even get on the phone unless they had to let alone talk to me listen to my story and take my order. He was awesome. The other part of my review is this company has been awesome with the June give aways. I have not won anything and have had a blast with the group and seeing other people win. I think they are a great company. I have a ton of friends that shop there also and have not heard one bad thing about them from anyone. Also I have sent several people to them and they are hooked also. IMO Material Girl Inc its employees and Owners rock the are the best and no matter if I win or lose a contest I will continue to shop with them. I've ordered multiple items from Material Girl and they are one of the *best* online retailers from whom I've purchased. Scott and his staff are the most responsive and friendly that I've ever interacted with. Not only is their shipping really fast, but Material Girl also has a price guarantee in which they will give you 10% off a (verified) competitor's price for the same item! I had ordered one item from them having found the same item for less on another website. I then later found the same item on another website for even less! Material Girl gave me the price guarantee from the second website that I'd found! Very few companies would go back and do that. Aside from my personal experience with Material Girl, they also very generously donated a handbag as a giveaway for a Facebook group of which I am a part. ok, i admit it, i'm addicted to harveys seatbelt bags. and as any true harveys addict knows, if you can't get the bag you want at the best possible price available, well then you're just in a bad mood for a long time! SCOTT TO OUR RESCUE! i was introduced to Scott and Material Girl on the harveys facebook fan page. i was searching for that ever elusive Lola Ruffle Tote in Peony, and after reading many glowing reviews of Material Girl, i called Scott up. He was SO nice! He helped me get my Lola at a great price, and price matched another harveys item for me, so i got a great deal on the whole kaboodle! he even threw in a free gift! I had an unforseen curcumstance in my life and Scott really, really helped me out. I have never met Scott personally, but his kindness to me and my family was amazing. I was looking for a particular color of Harvey's Seatbelt Bag and thought I'd see if it could be found - Material Girl was most gracious with their time. I did not locate the bag I was looking for, but because of the attention I received and excellent customer service (all before I had spend a dime), I decided to give my next purchase to Material Girl. I called to order a Harveys bag with MG's price match. However, I was informed the color I wanted was out of stock. :( I didn't expect to make a purchase at that time, but Scott (the owner) offered me the same discount on another color even though it wasn't the same price. Talk about an offer you can't refuse! lol I purchased the bag and much to my surprise it arrived a day earlier than I expected. You can't get that level of customer service anymore. Also, their monthly June giveaway on Facebook was amazing! I've never seen any company do a giveaway every single day for an entire month. Scott has a truly exceptional business going. I freakin' LOVE Material Girl. I refuse to to support companies that don't have outstanding customer service. Material Girl happens to have some of the best customer service I've ever encountered. They are at or above the same level as many national and international retailers I have had experience with. I've made three purchases from this company, and I will not hesitate to make many more. Their free shipping, price matching and further 10% off truly can't be beat. Scott and Material Girl are the best company I've ever dealt with online. They communicate in person to let you know what's going on with your order and deal with issues quickly and happily! When I didn't like the size of the bag I ordered, they sent me a free return label and gave me 15% off the bag I exchanged it for. I learned about Material Girl on Facebook. They are a great resource for Harvey's Seatbelt Bags! They currently have a bag on hold for me, and have promised to keep it until the time is right for me to purchase it. My review got "filtered out" which is crazy... clearly with all my information and even a picture attached I'm a REAL customer!! Please read my comments among the "filtered" results. This place is SUPERB! I bought a wallet for my fiancé here, and she absolutely LOVED it! Annette was wonderful, and full of knowledge about the merchandise which helped me out greatly.
