That being said, I rented a trencher from this company on October 9th and was told to return it on the morning of October 12th. When we arrived to pick up the trencher, we were told that we would need a three-quarter ton pickup truck to tow it, although no mention of that was stated to us prior to picking up this equipment. The trencher was old and ran rough. There was absolutely no rubber tread on the tires. Due to the bald tires and the subsequent inability to get any traction, it required 2 people to operate the machine - one to to keep the arm down in the hole and another to pull the machine backward. It was a complete fiasco. For over 2 weeks, this company did not send me a receipt. When I finally contacted the rental department, the female manager stated the total cost was $277, which was $15 more than was originally quoted. She stated that the $15 was an accidental overcharge. I told her about the problems I had with her rental equipment. She stated she would get back to me and would send me a receipt. I called her again on November 3rd and advised her to email me the receipt. She stated that she would. In closing, the service at this place is even worse than the standard poor service you get at other Bozeman/Belgrade rental businesses. I would strongly suggest that you save yourself a lot of headache and rent from someone else.
