Great laundromat. Exceptionally clean. Wholesome, safe environment mid day on a Friday. Helpful, friendly staff. Parking is right in front of the door. Machines are CLEAN. No suds, spills, goop anywhere. Remarkable. Lots of front loading machines to protect clothing. They have many of the front loaders that are large enough for quilts or larger laundry loads. No skimping. Top loaders are there also, if you prefer those. Plenty of dryers, too. Did not have to wait for anything. Laundromat is coin-operated. Helpful! Loading up a card wastes a lot if you're only briefly in town. The desk has coins. All in all an exceptional laundromat in every way. The owners are amazing!! They helped me find a washing machine that would be a good fit for the bag of clothes. They even had quarters for me to use for the washers and dryers. Best thing was the washing cycle was 24 minutes and the drying was efficient on their big machines!! read more

Clothes feel as clean after washing them at The Clothesline as if they'd been laundered at home. If you've ever been on a cross-country roadtrip you know that isn't the case at every laundromat. The owner, Bryce is friendly and cares about the community. Best of all there is always staff on hand available to answer questions and keeping The Clothesline clean. Edited to add: Both the new owner and previous owner reached out to sincerely apologize for the incident and are taking steps to better train employees to treat customers with respect. Incredibly rude employee! Please visit another laundromat! Guy came up to me and said he didn't want to tell me again to my mask on. I was very confused. As I'd been wearing my mask and was speaking to my 9-year-old daughter and had lowered it just speaking to her. Also, it's 90 degrees outside and the doors are open. Very noisy and hot! Especially lugging laundry around. I'm a super friendly and non-confrontational person from the south. Not the type to cause a fuss, but I'm also not going to have some rude employee talk to me that way. I'm emailing the owner, as well. No one that treats people that way should be working for the public. Stand up for kindness and visit another laundromat while you're in Bozeman. read more

I was traveling over a few months and when I came back all my stuff was converted in mouse crap. I had so much stuff to wash and some of it I didn't even know how to approach cleaning. TO ADD: The owner actually reached out to apologize and kindly explained what happened with their staff (new and shortstaffed) and why there was an extra charge. They even offered to rewash my pants and shirts! I opted to drop-off and was incredibly disappointed - will NEVER go back again. Was charged extra for a service I did not request (after I had asked for pricing from one of the employees via calling AND in-person) and was then very rudely brushed off after I paid Went home to sort through my clothes and two of my shirts and a pair of pants still had dirt residue. Rarely leave reviews but this experience was infuriating. Maybe their self-serve machines are better but I'm not risking it and after my experience this laundromat is a definite pass :( read more

A clean, roomy laundromat with super roomy dryers, and several larger sized washers for bedding. The attendant traded me for quarters easy as pie and has a super nice personality. He laughed at my dumb jokes even. Didn't hover like some laundromat attendants. They have a 24hr turnover laundry service too, if you don't want to sit there. read more

The ladies here are absolutely beautiful souls. I came in to wash my brand new cream hoodie with red wine stains on it and asked if they sold stain remover. Ella and Adrienne not only gave me a bunch of stuff to get it out but gave me detailed instructions on scrubbing and rinsing it and it came out almost immediately. All I can say is Adrienne's "bible" is magic and these women are kind beautiful people. The laundromat is always clean and is a good price. I had to do my laundry during my road trip. This place did the trick, everything went well, your typical laundromat. If you want quarters for their machines you'll have to have cash, otherwise you'll need to pull cash from their ATM and then ask for change. Other laundromats may have a more convenient system. read more

I've been taking my clothes here for 3 years now. I don't have a washer/dryer at my place so I drop it off and have the friendly staff take care of it (Monica is my favorite!!!). They are always friendly and try as hard as they can to get your laundry back by the time you need it and the price is very reasonable. This laundromat is very clean and organized, with different types of washer (top load, front load) for your preference. They also have mega and very large load dryers in addition to the regular ones. The manager is available on site and friendly and helpful. The regular dryers just were not effective. We kept feeding them coins, but we took everything home still damp. read more

I hadn't been to a laundromat in years and remembered them as sort of sad places. Not this one. The employee helped us make soap and machine decisions about our vacation laundry, and I saw her fetch chairs and help others get themselves set up to both do and wait for their laundry. The atmosphere was actually cheerful, and it was refreshing to see the regulars interacting with the staff. There are snarky laundry jokes decorating the walls. My daughter is going to MSU and we are up here visiting her. We needed to do laundry and with her being a "starving student" she doesn't have a laundry facility where she lives. So, she recommended The Clothesline and said it is the only place she does laundry in Bozeman. I've never seen a laundry facility that is so clean! Monica is the lady working and she couldn't be a more cheerful and a happier person. She helped make the atmosphere here relaxing and enjoyable...because truly...who really likes going to a laundry mat? Best customer service of any business in Bozeman as well as the best laundrymat in the West Coast. Besides being clean and having commercial mega machines they help you through the whole process. Went to wash down comforters and they told me how to wash it with the best results. Gave me towels and tennis balls to throw in with the comforter and helped me free of machinces when they were through. I have never been so impressed with a laundry place in my life.
