These guys were AMAZING! HIRE THEM!!! I was in an awful spot with the company we had move us from Indy to Bozeman. We used Zippy Shell which is a container moving and storage company and they were AWFUL. I will never use them again and they will be getting their own review from me. I mention this to re-emphasize the difference between what AMAZING looks like vs pitiful. We were in a predicament where all of our belongings made it to Billings, MT and were sitting in a warehouse. Zippy Shell was supposed to then deliver our containers to Bozeman with some helpers to help unload. Upon arriving in Billings at the beginning of June I requested a June 11th delivery date only to be told the soonest they could get my stuff to me would be end of July....I am sure you can imagine our frustration at this point. I immediately started calling local moving companies in hopes that I could find a company that would be able to step up to the plate and help us get our belongings from Billings to Bozeman safely and in a more timely manner. This endeavor would involve driving to the warehouse in Billings, transferring all of our belongings from 3 containers into moving trucks, and then bringing them all the way back to Bozeman for a full offload into our home. Quite the endeavor....and then I spoke with Kevin over at Move It! Not only was Kevin personable and professional but he was willing to listen to our situation. He was also willing to go above and beyond to help within the budget I had left to get my family's belongings safely back to us. Kevin immediately went into solution mode and we formulated a plan to get our items to us by June 17th. He threw 4 of his best guys at our job, communicated with us clearly and frequently, and even made sure the guys knew about some very important items we had in the containers that I was a bit concerned about. On the day of the move Jack, Ben, Kole, and Demetri were punctual, professional, polite, and most of all hard working, fast, careful, and more than we could have ever asked for. They moved every box into each specified room with nothing but positive attitudes and a "how can we help" mentality. They were all in perfect sync and at some times were literally running back to the truck to grab the next thing or help each other out. These guys were ON POINT. All in all they were able to go from Bozeman to Billings (2 1/2 hours), carefully and strategically load 3 containers into our truck, drive back from Billings to Bozeman, and unload a 26' truck into each room of our home in a little bit over 11 hours. I was in complete aw. To top it all off, Kevin even stopped by our house in the middle of the unload just to ensure everything was going smoothly. I can't tell you how much these guys did for us and the WAY they did it was what really impressed us. If you are moving locally, regionally, or even long distance these guys will receive you, or get you on your way, in a way that will make you feel comfortable and confident in what is the overwhelming chore of moving. Beware!! Maybe it was a bad day for the two boys they sent to move our furniture but it was a nightmare. One was in training and the other doesn't recognize a permanently attached stacked washer and dryer. He wasted nearly one hour trying to take them apart before I went looking for him. The one in training loaded and unloaded 6 garment boxes in the first hour. That's all that was accomplished! We only asked they move furniture and 6 garment boxes. Emptied, and in most cases already in the garage and 10 feet from the moving van. And the move was just in the small town of Livingston. It still took 8 hours!!! I have moved 7 times over the years using moving companies each time. I have NEVER had such a sloppy, unorganized experience. The local furniture store told us they had to let MOVE IT go because of their work ethic. Why did I have a conversation with the furniture store? My leather couch did not survive the move. They claimed it did not fit through the door. To bad they were not smart enough to lift off the backs! Use anyone else. I promise you will be glad you did. read more

I rented a 26' U-Haul and my sister hired Move It to help fill it. Dustin and Evan showed up on time, brought all the necessary tools to get the job done, explained what they were about to do and then went to work packing the entire truck, floor to ceiling, with absolute efficiency and expertise. I was consulted during the process and advised of things to be mindful of as they arose. I arrived home 600 miles away with everything in perfect condition. I am so grateful that my sister found these professionals to do the job. I would immediately hire them again and would enthusiastically encourage anyone to do the same. My wife and I hired this company to help us move to a new apartment. I suggested them because of the wonderful job they did moving a very awkward and heavy piece of equipment at my workplace several months back. We were very impressed by the speed, professionalism and friendliness of Brad and his assistant Matt. Brad rented a Uhaul truck (it was nice that he took care of that; it was one less thing we needed to deal with) and he also provided a minivan for extra space. Everything arrived in great condition. These guys are wonderful. Brad is very detailed, there were no surprises and he ran through different options to try and save us money. The two guys that helped us move were amazing, we had really heavy furniture and multiple flights of stairs with narrow doorways. No dings, scrapes, issues, or complaints. Several times they asked us if we were happy with furniture placement, said they were there to help and to use them while we had them. Moving is stressful...these guys took all that away. Simple call to them and they set everything up and told me what I needed to get done. Made an appointment for 9am, and they showed up promptly at 8:59am. The two movers (both Sam) were very nice guys who went out of there way to help me with a difficult move. When my U-Haul wouldn't start, and U-Haul said it would be 2+ hours to fix the truck, they were able to "figure it out" so we could avoid working with U-Haul (worst company ever). I had a great experience with these guys. Dustin and Gannet showed up on time, were friendly, worked hard and took care of my stuff. What more can you ask? One thing to note, I had them help me unload a U-haul on a Sunday morning, which was super convenient, but I didn't originally think they would be able to help because the hours listed only go through Saturday. Those are only the office hours, so if you need someone outside of those hours its still worth a shot to call and see if they can help. read more

I have used Move It twice and have been very pleased with their service both times. The last time they packed and loaded several pieces of antique furniture into a small UHaul truck for a trip from Bozeman to Seattle. Two pieces of the furniture had curved glass panels that can't be replaced. I was very concerned about them making the trip but these guys wrapped and secured them in the van with great care and every thing arrived in perfect condition. Couldn't be happier! read more

I had a big move coming across the country and worked with four genuinely nice, hustling, husky guys (including Brad who pitched in) to unload a 27 ft trailer and then repack two 17ft Uhauls for further transport and unload locally. They were on time, on budget, done early, asked what more they could do and helped me work through the complexities.
