This is a standard-issue Marshall's, which is to say it's the Ocean State Job Lot of cast-off…read moreclothing and a few miscellaneous odds and ends, everything cheap but the stock quite unpredictable. Some major pluses for this particular location though: unlike EVERY other Marshall's I've been in, and I do mean every one (maybe a dozen over the years) this one was very neatly kept without stock being flung everywhere. Only a few things were out of place. Maybe I just went on a good day, but that makes it a little more attractive to come back to. And the staff were actually pretty perky, not at all like the usual "I hate this job and can't wait to be out of here" vibe I've gotten at other Marshall's and similar locations. I still can't take Marshall's above a three star rating because of the so truly random nature of the store that makes it difficult to shop at -- it's closer to a thrift store with new stuff instead of used than anything else I can think of -- but top marks for this location in its category and perhaps the promise of a fourth star in the future if some miracle bargain befalls me on a future visit.

They tend to have what you order online, but when you go inside to pick up because they decided that day that they're either understaffed or don't feel like bringing it out to your car, you realize that this place is a bit disorganized. Returns checkout where they tell you to go has two sets of registers... one for returns and another for order pickup & registry. They'll just close the order pickup one and then not tell you... they'll pretend that the register isn't there and that you're not standing in front of it because you read the signs. Then employees will come and ignore you... if you're trans, they'll even misgender you despite a transman working there too... well, whatever... that's the area, I guess. Speaking of the area, I parked my car in the "pick up area" because they said they weren't coming out because of "inclement weather" while it wasn't that cold, not snowing, not raining, not even windy, just overcast... they were just understaffed and didn't bother to mention it while you placed the order. So then I dealt with the rest of it when you went inside... and you realized that the entire returns area is just a complete mess with no lane boundaries.. and just walking around shopping carts. The neighborhood seems to be taking a downward turn because as I come out of my car to go inside, two high school kids come up and ask if I wanted to buy candy for their high school... this is the kind of 3rd world crap I'd deal with if I went to my father's home country of the Dominican Republic where they try to make you buy Chiclets gum you don't want. I used to get pick up orders here instead of Clifton Park where I lived because they'd actually have stuff here I wanted to get vs Clifton Park. But I'm a bit done with Target now. Between that experience and the one where I went down the road to Cohoes and they gave me all dented food and some expired products, this is about what KMart stared becoming in the 90s near me... just people not caring and disorganization. I hate going to the returns counter and next time I have that start of an experience, I'll just cancel the order and let you all put the food back. The area just seems like it's going down hill and it's probably not just the Target, but even Papa Johns on the other side of the lot feels like you walked into a bad part of town and everyone's just looking for a fight.... There are better places to go.

They had a nice selection of men's coats, shoes, shirts , and pants. The women's section was larger than men's section. I was surprised to see in the home decor section and by the registers that they had an assortment of genuine Disney parks merchandise from Disney World and Disneyland at much lower prices than the parks. Pins that were $19.99 in the parks were $2.99 there. The staff were also friendly and kept the checkout line moving. Please note that because this is a smaller store they do NOT offer layaway like other Burlington stores. Still a five star shopping experience. Definitely will be back.

The HomeGoods part has a lot of good stuff. Service was good. This is Marshall's, so value is decent. I think their prices for the HomeGoods part was a bit expensive for stuff not really worth it, but we cannot get away from the inflation and tariffs, but Marshalls/HomeGoods should think twice about the prices they place on certain cheap items.

The comforters are usually branded and of high quality. Most of my comforters I have bought are from here. Over the last 2 to 3 years I have ventured out but haven't been able to match the high quality and the brand at Marshall's. I did ship by a coue of times here but wasn't lucky to find a good deal. Make frequent visits and go window shopping frequently to find your deals. Venture walking in the mall during the winter rather than home.

Went in here on a Thursday when it was $2.00 and purchased many items like clothes, cd's, and a couple food items (cheerios and panettone bread). Went to open the panettone bread today and there was a large chunk missing out of the bread and someone had very deceptively re sealed the box with packaging tape on the bottom. I understood that no refunds are given and all sales are final and no returns. I took it back anyway feeling they would want to know about this. We just received a response of oh wow and sorry. I did expect that they would refund the $2.00 as this was very deceptive to resell a food product that had been opened and very discreetly resealed but no refund was given. I urge all customers here not to purchase food items as they may be potentially dangerous. if they have been resealed. I'll still be a customer for other items here but will never purchase food because of the safety of how food is handled.
