Absolutely Horrible Experience. I came in excited not only because I heard some good comments on their wings but the atmosphere was unique and there were a good amount of people inside! I ordered the double dipped honey wings because that is what they're known for however, disappointingly, I could not eat them because they tasted like they were honestly from a box. I hardly send anything back because I understand it is somewhat of a burden on any restaurant. When I did send it back, a short blonde haired manager came to the table, confirmed the fact that they were from a box and told me that the restaurant wasn't going to take a loss on five microwaved wings and then walked off with them. We paid (even for those wings she took) and left. I was astonished to say the least ,, I haven't ever been treated so poorly from any professional restaurant establishment like I had at Track One. I hope that manger can take a self assessment on how she treats future costumers because she has an important role of representing this establishment which as of now it's all about fast/mass costumer service over quality costumer service. Least to say I will not be returning in part because the food is cheaply made and especially because the service was bad. read more

My husband heard about this place via Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. The service was good, but we both ended up extremely ill. An hour after eating there, we went home and ran to the restrooms. I have never been so ill after eating somewhere in my life. I am thinking it is time for management to evaluate the cleanliness of their establishment and the hygiene of the staff. read more

The food here is amazing. It's not too pricy, but the quality of the food matches the prices fairly well. I admire the fact that the restaurant is inside of a railroad cart. The service I received was great! But not perfect! I've eaten wings there plenty of times, and they're not always consistent on the way they are cooked, but I've had more positive experiences than bad ones. Worst part was, the food takes a while to be served to you, but the quality makes up for it. All in all, it's a great place to get a bite every now & then. read more

I found Track One on accident and was glad I did. We waited about an hour for a table on a Friday night and enjoyed the special we tried, which was steak. The wings were good and we ran out of room for dessert but it sounded yummy. The service was some of the best we have had in El Paso. The restaurant is housed in train cars and there are train models all over which is really fun especially for kids. I can't recommend Track One enough! read more

The place is decent at most however the decor is really old and not very appealing. Worse part is that the food is bland, the wings don't taste very good especially the lemon pepper wings. The place is dark and needs better lighting, the wait area is extremely small and can't fit the amount of people that come here. The chicken tenders look and taste like Tyson brand chicken tenders. Also the menus look very outdated and not appealing. The price for there food is a bit too much for how much you get and the quality of the food. If you are coming for the wings I suggest you go somewhere else. Also what is up with the tipping system, you force your own customers to tip while giving bad service come on, my drink wasn't even refilled once. read more

I use to love this place until I recently visited this past weekend. Me and my family ordered some lemon pepper wings, the wings we're a little over seasoned for my daughters liking so she returned them. She then ordered a different flavor which was better then the last. We finished our meals and asked for the check, as we reviewed the check we noticed that we were still being charged for the returned wings. We explained that only one wing was eaten. The waiter then got the manager and brought the box of wings we had sent back. We explained to the manager that we did not want the wings because they were over seasoned. Not only that why would we take wings that have been boxed up by God knows who. Normally when you take a doggie bag you box it yourself, and why would I want wings that I specifically said I don't want. They eventually removed the charge, as we looked at the check again there was a $18 gratuity charge for two adults and three children. I asked about the charge and the manager exclaimed that it up to us to pay or not. When I told him I understand that but it it is added to our meal charge. He quickly walked away and we just paid the bill, forced gratuity is not cool when gratuity is normally paid when there is six or more people. I hate to let this place go but I refuse to be mistreated and over charged. read more

This was the worst service I have experienced in my life. First we place a drink order which they screwed up. Then we place a food order which they came out 45 mins later and said they forgot to place the order so asked us again what we ordered. Then screwed up our next drink order and asked us what we ordered again. Finally they brought out most but not all the food we ordered. When the bill came out they charged us the extra drinks we didn't order and the food that never came out. The waiter took those things off our bill after explaining to him. Best part was the manager came over which I thought would be A Big Fat Im Sorry. Instead she said we have one table a night where we screw up cya. We paid full price for the worst food experience of my life. I would advice no one ever to go to this place unless you want to pay for avg food and a horrible experience. anyone who gave this place 4 or more stars must work there. This is one of those places that everyone in El Paso knows about, but I had never been for some reason. Invites had been thrown at me pretty regularly since high school, but it just never worked out. Really, the only reason that I even went this time was because the place that I was going to go to was closed and we were like five minutes away. I'm so glad we did though because this place is just f***ing awesome. I absolutely love the train car concept and just the general layout of the place. The wings are what everybody tells you to get, and it really is for good reason. They seriously are some of the best wings you can get anywhere. The double dipped in particular were pretty amazing. We had the nachos too, which were pretty good, but I would easily go back for the wings alone. Judging by the quality of the food we got, I'm pretty much dying to try the burgers. They had some really interesting sounding toppings (artichoke hearts, for one) and are probably pretty delicious as well if the quality of their regular bar food is any indication. It took a little longer than I thought was necessary to get seated, but I had no problem at all with the service otherwise. One of our better home town heroes for sure. read more

How do you begin a horror story? It was a dark and stormy night? How about it was a warm and sunny Saturday afternoon out in the west Texas town of El Paso (sung to the tune of -you guessed it, El Paso). Track One is the nightmare from Hell eatery in this story. never in my life and worldly travels have I experienced this piss-poor level of service. I can't even begin to rate the food because there was never any to rate. It has been many a year since I have walked out before the food arrived. Today was that momentous day. I try to be very tolerant but they were no where near busy-empty tables were all around us. We were seated promptly and drink orders were taken. Drinks took a while to arrive but not intolerable. We gave our food orders and the intolerable began. The accursed wait. As we sat we watched a parade of newcomers be seated, be served and cheerily sent on their merry way. And we sat and we sat and we sat. Suddenly, a miracle. Our waiter appeared and told us our food was on its way-from Santa Fe I joked to my wife. And we sat and we sat and we sat. The two minute warning cometh. A bus boy comes by and we ask the cost of a glass of ice tea. $1.50 he says. Two bucks I lay on the table. A wink at the wife and out the door we trod. Oh somewhere in this great land there sit two NY steak sandys-one with fries, the other with rings. They are probably pretty cold by now, but you can get them cheap. I hope some poor starving dog passes by as they throw them out while deciding whose paycheck to dock for the cost. Please YELP, how can I give an appropriate rating since you don't allow negative stars. They do not deserve the one star but it's the least we can do. First time coming here and I loved it all! From the train car setting to how quirky it is inside to the double dipped wings. Those wings are the best wings I've ever had. The crispiness is perfection and it's not runny like your typical wings. The sweetness to hotness ratio was just right. Train buff or not, this is a great place to eat. My wife is very discriminating when it comes to a good restaurant. We ate the chicken wings and salad; both of which were delicious. I've always loved Track One and its food but I am upset that after waiting 45 minutes we were not notified that there were no available tables. We wanted to celebrate my sister's birthday and take my parents who had never been there. They loved the idea of a restaurant being in a train car and we looked forward to it after bragging to our parents about the burgers and delicious wings! 20 minutes went by and we were told they were just waiting on a booth to get cleaned and we could be seated. We assumed the booth would be ready within 5-10 minutes since one of the servers let us know. Finally at the 40 minute mark we asked for a menu while we waited and asked the host/server how much longer it would be. He couldn't even give us a straight answer and just chuckled and said he wasn't sure how much longer it would be. He said they were just waiting for people to leave. At that point us and another family decided to leave since no one went up to us to let us know a status of the wait. We went for lunch on this particular day to watch Sunday NFL. We requested a game at the bar tv (Cowboys/Eagles) and bartender said no and sent us to another area adjacent to the bar. We requested the volume be raised which the bartender got annoyed with. The seating in this area with the two televisions were very awkward and only one table was positioned to watch the games. HORRIBLE! Bad service and bland overpriced food. The wings have hardly any meat and my husband had a hair in one of his wings. Took about 20 minutes before we got our drinks, another hour goes by till we get our food. How hard is it to make wings and a salad. Even the salad was gross. We had 7at the table and they added gratuity. This pissed me off. Normally I leave at least 20%,i still tip shitty servers but that is just ridiculous!! Parking under any lights at night is limited to say the least . The food is good the parking is terrible. I had to park down along side the road there are no lights and paid the price, my window was broken out and I was robbed of personal items while in the restaurant. This appears to be a dangerous area, use common sense, no parking under lights don't go in. read more
