Came here after experiencing an Escape Room. This place had a line out of the door, so we decided it had to be good! I got the Peach Rose Green Tea with almond milk and chose light sweetness and no boba. Be warned, this place is really sweet! Even at light sweetness I thought the sugar was just too high! I only drank a quarter of it before I stuck it in my fridge it was just too much - next time I'm getting no sweet! However, I could taste the peach and rose tea flavor - that came through nicely but that sugar, man. I couldn't get that taste out of my mouth. One of my favorite drinks is Green Tea with Boba. This was my first time coming to Tpumps and I really was impressed with the variety of flavors they have. Tpumps is located at a shopping center and in my opinion they have plenty of parking available. I was with my family and they explained how Tpumps works. When we arrived, we were welcomed and acknowledged by the staff. I ordered a Large Mango Peach Passion Green Tea w/ Honey Boba. I waited for a bit and then it was ready. The flavors for my Mango Peach Passion Green Tea was delicious and refreshing. I could especially taste the Mango and the Honey Boba was chewy; just how a like it. My overall experience was great and the customer service was friendly. In my personal opinion, I would recommend TPumps if you're in the Upland area or want to have some refreshing tea. Everyone has their fave boba houses. This place is my husband's favorite. The location is easy to access with ample parking. On normal functioning days, the seating is limited. It's normally just couches. Usually the queues are very long. The line is also poorly designed as people constantly cross in front of guests ordering. They used to have a sign that asked guests to not block the entrance due to a fired hazard. Right now, amid the Covid pandemic, they are operating within the regulations of the state and fed government. There are currently no indoor seating permitted. They are taking orders at the door to prevent spread. They are also not allowing customers to take straws independently to prevent viral spread. They were not accepting their "loyalty program" when I went. However I expect that this will change when the pandemic changes. Management is asking the public to maintain social distancing while waiting for orders. Thankfully there is enough covered awning space to wait outside of the weather conditions. The staff are friendly and warm. They are attentive and get your order right the first time. My husband loves the variety of drink options, the customization of up to 3 flavors, and blend anything you want in the tea. I enjoy their boba pearls but still prefer Boba Fiend or 8090 tea bases over TPumps. My reason for 3 stars is that TPumps is INCREDIBLY STINGY with their boba pearls. In a large drink, I only received about 15-20 pearls total. Other sites deliver 2-3 times as much as TPumps. We have complained to staff and apparently this is a corporate decision. Also, the drinks are bland. The tea honestly lacks flavor for me. Hopefully, corporate will make the adjustment to please the public. read more

LIVID on what I found in my drink!! I went to Tpumps on a Tuesday for their deal that they gave every Tuesday. Once I ordered I got back into my car and start driving off and when I went to sip my drink I BIT DOWN ON A NAIL!! I quickly took it out my mouth and realized what it was and immediately went back to the place! I spoke to the manager who was upset as well and she confronted the workers to check to see who had the acrylic nails but no one did. You can mix all sorts of combinations, from mint to mango to papaya. The options almost seem endless, and every drink you mix together tastes refreshing with the boba added on. If you can't decide, there's usually delicious samples in the front to recommend a certain combination you might like. In addition, almost everything on the top 10 menu caters to people's particular tastes. And, if you don't like your drink, they were 100% understanding and even remake your drink. Really wish Tpumps came in sooner so that when I grew up in Upland, I didn't have to drive out to Diamond Bar for the nearest boba. Tpumps is very delicious, with very soft fresh boba and delicious flavors. They also have a variety of bobas including popping boba. I'd rate the place 4.5 but rounding down because of the very crazy menu. The steps are on the right side of the menu but you have to go from left to right for each step. Then, it's hard to follow because each item is in different font and color. Also their 'customer favorites' menu has stuff on there that I'd never want to try even if someone paid for my drink. We've come to Tpumps a couple of times now and will continue to check out the many different types of combos we can make for these teas(the name of the place says it all people lol pumps). Now I'm not a big fan of boba lol but these weren't bad, well at least the honey one's I haven't tried the others. I liked the fact that they let us try it before putting it in our cups. Each time we've come we were offered free samples of different teas which have been good. The milk one wasn't bad either, first time trying it too. You do have to have some patience, they only have one register but once you place you're drink order the rest of the process moves pretty quickly. By far, one of my favorite places to go!! I'm from the Bay Area and used to always go to their location up there. When I heard it opened in Socal, I knew I had to check it out! The location seems kind of sketch but inside the store, there are some couches for you sit down and relax for a bit. The price of the regular size is pretty big and it only costs like $2.95! ---THEY SKIMP OUT ON BOBA (compared to other places) SO ASK FOR EXTRA if that's your thing! So once you find Tpumps off Foothill and enter thru the side street and subsequent parking plaza, you'll make your way inside Tpumps and see that there are samples. Samples? Don't mind if I do! They obviously will vary, and if there are even more samples in the back, the workers will come out where the samples are and give you even MORE samples. Just so you know what you want exactly. The thing is, if you're gonna come here for one time or first time, you're gonna go for the customer favorite, the rose vanilla green milk tea. It sounds like a lot to say, but try it with less sweet :D It's still very fragrant and still very good. I went for the large size and it was $4.50 but the cup is huge + you get free topping already. I might get this again next time cuz I liked this drink so much haha. The one caveat with the toppings are that there are only 4 different toppings offered right now, if I remember the wall correctly. They need some egg pudding here :( The second time I came, I got the peach rose green tea. It looks like apple juice haha. Their rose is made perfectly here and the peach is subtle but enough for you to actually realize that it's there. TPUMPS 2016!! The only thing more surprising than this year's election results is that a successful boba shop actually decided to branch out to Upland!! "Where is Upland?!?!" Yeah, I know... I get that all the time... Tpumps opened right across the street from Upland High School!! These kids are seriously lucky. Back in days my friends and I would have to journey out to Rowland Heights for boba and now it's walking distance from the high school. My Favorite Drinks at Tpumps: 1. Rose Vanilla Green Milk Tea 2. Salted Caramel Cookie Dough Black Milk Tea 3. Almond Roca Raspberry Vanilla Black Milk Tea 4. Peach Rose Green Tea Their iced Tpump size is only $3.50 and the regular size is comparable to other shop's large size. I usually order all of my drinks less sweetened and I enjoyed all of my drinks here so far. I actually really like their boba here too. It was soft and chewy. The only thing I don't agree with is that they call it honey boba, but it just tastes like really good regular boba. I'll pass on the sweet basil seeds, red bean and taro. Hopefully they add some egg pudding to their topping menus and I'll be completely satisfied with this place. Don't forget to enter your number for bonus points on Five Star! For every drink you purchase, you earn 1 point. 10 points = 1 free drink. I actually prefer this over the stamp card because I can keep track of the points on my phone instead of forgetting my stamp cards in all of my different purses. The staff here are really friendly and helpful. I was actually talking to Paul while I was waiting for my drinks and he was offering me more samples even after I already ordered. Just like Starbucks, they have a promise to fix your drink or change it if you don't like it. I can definitely tell that they care about customer service. Free Wifi is another plus too! I look forward to coming back to explore more of their menu as well as concoct my own crazy flavors. I usually frequent the Pasadena location and when I saw the sign stating that the Upland location was opening soon I was stoked! The customer service is awesome! A beyond friendly and helpful staff ready to mix up your delicious tea. If you can't decide on flavors there are plenty of samples to try while waiting in line. Peach, mango, strawberry gt or peach, mango, passion gt are my two go-to drinks. In my personal opinion the flavors pop more in green tea, opposed to black. Tuesday's you get a free upgrade and don't forget to sign up for five stars so you can start racking up points towards free drinks and other goodies. You will definitely be standing in a long line of high schoolers if you go during lunchtime or after school.
