Impressive boba tea in Milpitas. The drinks are consistent and the staff is quite nice. I wish they had more seating arrangements as it is hard to find a table anytime during the weekend. Their popularity speaks for itself. The best part about their drinks is the quality of boba. It is perfectly chewy and also the right size. Not too big, not too small. The best drink here was their popular strawberry milk tea. They blend the ice with tea so it's kinda like a smoothie and they use fresh strawberries. I have never been inclined towards ordering a strawberry milk tea before at other boba places and I would definitely get it again here when I am back. One of the other drinks that I really liked is their tie guan milk tea. I really liked the flavor of the tea in this. The tea flavor was strong and the milk had a nice creamy consistency to it at the same time. It is well balanced. Definitely worth repeating too. Amongst the fruit teas, their super orange passion fruit four seasons tea was very refreshing on a hot summer day. The only drink I haven't liked so far is their taro milk in the non caffeinated section. It's too milky, not enough taro. Won't get it again. I definitely recommend tp tea to all the boba lovers out there and I will be back! read more

I always order a brown sugar boba milk tea when I try new boba places. TP Tea had pretty good boba but it's not on the super sweet side. I tried 100% and it was similar to a regular at most places. I always impress with efficiency of the worker and the system. Usually when it is soft opening it will be a bit chaotic as many customers and orders. They did it very well. Tried out this place and got their pineapple ice tea with tea jelly. Good quality (4/5) and would revisit but not top tier for me. They have a very spacious and well-lit floor with some cozy seating if you want to hang out for a while. 2 screen kiosks for ordering and then pick up your drink once its ready. I love TP Tea and I'm so happy it's in Milpitas now! I went for their grand opening since they were having a bogo deal. If you buy any drink on their menu, you can choose a drink for free but it's only applicable for certain drinks like the tgy family milk tea, strawberry milk tea, etc (it's on their flyer!). They have an extensive menu from fruit teas to milk teas and smoothies and matcha, but I got their tieguanyin milk tea because it's so perfectly well balanced in being roasty and milky, and I chose their tgy family milk tea since I've never had it before (it's just tieguanyin milk tea with boba pudding and coffee jelly). Since it was their grand opening, the line was out the door but the line was moving the whole time. It took about 40-45 minutes but it honestly wasn't too bad since the line kept moving. Welcome to Milpitas, TP Tea! I first tried TP Tea in Cupertino and then was thrilled to hear a Berryessa location opened and then was over the moon when I heard a Milpitas one was being built. Now TP Tea is so accessible whenever I want it! Located in a plaza with other stores, there is a parking lot and I imagine that the lot can fill up on weekends. On a weekday there was plenty of parking. I visited while they were in soft opening and the establishment was bright and clean. They have one self-order kiosk at the moment with a large display showing which orders are in progress and which are ready. The gal at the front who took my order was very friendly. Despite there being quite a few people here it only took about 8 minutes for my drinks to come out. The display also shows an estimated time of when your drinks will be ready. The quality of the tea here I found to be on par with Cupertino and better than Berryessa. I'm a sucker for their tie guan yin milk tea with boba. Something about the distinct tea flavor and creaminess of this drink paired with mini boba just has me swooning each time I drink it. Their pineapple iced tea is also very refreshing and made with real fruit! Came here for soft opening! They have limited hours so far and full menu isn't out yet. I ordered the Tie guan yin milk tea based on recommendations, and I'm glad I did! The pearls are great too, it's a little smaller than the regular boba pearls and cooked perfectly. Can't wait for their official opening when their full menu is out and extended opening hours, right now they're only open until 6 pm. I went on a Monday afternoon around 1 pm and there was a lot of people already waiting but only around 10 min or less for for my 2 drinks. The Taiwan Classic Milk Tea was delicious! I especially wanted to try the QQ noodle topping which is like tapioca noodles. These were great! The drink also came with boba and grass jelly. The tea was perfectly rich and creamy. I just wish the straw was a bit longer and the toppings blended together better. I get that the different densities float differently, but I didn't get to the grass jelly until the very end. The qq noodles went first, followed by the boba. Came for their grand opening weekend while they were having a BOGO deal. I came in the middle of the afternoon on a Sunday and it ended up being a 45 minute wait. I guess that's not too bad for a good deal. I don't think I would wait that long normally though. Anyways I ended up getting a passion fruit green tea with boba and the super orange passion (came with crystal boba). I opted for less sweet and less ice for both. Finally after getting my drinks, I tried the passion fruit drink first. Boba was nice and chewy. Strong tea flavor. Less sweet is still sweet to me. I think regular sweet would give me a toothache, haha. I really liked the super passion orange. First off it already comes with the crystal boba so no extra charge. Also had a few slices of oranges in there. More orange flavor than passion fruit flavor but still delicious. Again you could really taste the tea. So that's nice. Totally enjoyed the product so much that I had to go twice in one week! At our first visit, I was wowed by the black boba milk tea with QQ noodles! Never had anything like the QQ noodles before yet really enjoy the texture - both alone and paired with boba! Had to try the QQ noodles alone (so returned a 2nd time) and had it with the strawberry milk tea which had a thicker, smoothie like texture. The drinks were very tasty, the sweetness was really nice and on par, and it was also very aesthetically designed (I ordered the Thai and Matcha Swirl Drinks). The only thing I would recommend is to actually shake the Swirl Drinks before drinking it otherwise the cream will be stuck on the sides. However, today, I ordered a passion fruit mango smoothie and after drinking more than halfway, I got a very nice surprise. There were a few shreds of plastic in my drink. From what I know, neither passion fruit or mango taste or have the texture of plastic. While the drink is was good, the surprise was not. Hopefully they will be more careful next time. read more
