(Meaning the ice cream was melting) Wouldn't you think they would put it in the freezer till I got there? So when I got home the ice cream was soup. The man who took my order over the phone and helped me when I got there was also very unpleasant. This experience was very off putting and unfortunately we haven't been back since.

I wasn't expecting a dive-y bar just off the Ave and I definitely wasn't expecting such good food, service and prices. I stuck to beer but they had what seemed to be a full bar (nothing too fancy) and a few domestics on draught. The bartender, Tommy, was attentive and fun to get to know. You could tell he loved what he does and he interacted with everyone. There's shuffleboard inside, maybe twenty or so seats at the bar and a few tables for groups. The pizza was excellent and Tommy suggested a vinaigrette with Gorgonzola cheese to complement it. DELICIOUS. The prices were great and I'll definitely be going back- especially if Tommy is there. The only negative I can think of is that there's really no dedicated parking (that I saw) so I had to leg it in the cold for a bit but really, it wasn't a big deal. I'm still surprised that this place exists in Greenwich and looking forward to next time already.

Napa Salmon Flatbread: The blackened salmon was perfectly seasoned and juicy, balanced by the crisp cabbage and creamy guac. Buttermilk Ranch Crunch Wrap: Comfort food done right. Crispy fried chicken, crunchy tater tots, and melty cheddar jack wrapped up with BBQ sauce and ranch -- total flavor bomb. This food truck is a hidden gem!…read more I've driven past Neil's Food Truck countless times on my way home from work around lunchtime, always curious but never stopping until I saw a rave review on one of the Greenwich sites. That was it, I had to try it. Why didn't I stop sooner?! Neil is one of the kindest, most humble people you'll ever meet. During our chat, we discovered we even knew some of the same people from his previous job and my current one. Service was fantastic, genuine and friendly. Now, let's talk about the food. The smashed burger ("Neil's") was easily one of the best I've ever had. On my second visit, I tried the "Nobody Puts (Bella) in the Corner" a burger with Swiss, Bella mushrooms, and sautéed onions. OMG. I was eating like an animal, it was that good. This is comfort food at its finest and totally hits the spot for any true foodie. Now my son and all his friends rave about Neil's. The location is convenient, with plenty of space for cars to pull in. You'll see people devouring their food in their cars or grabbing it to go. Neil usually posts his weekly location updates on Sundays via Instagram, so make sure to follow him to stay in the loop. I have been back many times, tried everything in the menu and love all of it.
