Most places are hit or miss and I leave clothes concerned about the results. From the start, I had confidence in Kelly. She took the time for me to try the jackets on and knew what the length should be based on the type of jacket. I've been a couple different places where the people didn't know how things should look, only asking what I wanted and if that looked ok. I left two jackets with her to hem the sleaves. My jackets came back in a week and the sleeves were $25 each. They are perfect. The stitching is excellent, the fit is exactly how it should be and the jackets don't look hemmed. The sleeve cuffs are straight and look original. I'll be back here for all my alteration needs.

The dress and matching belt are the same fabric and color and were cleaned together to maintain a consistent, rich black. Due to the Brandon location's boiler being down for several weeks, my items were transported to another location for cleaning. When they were returned, my matching belt was missing. I went back multiple times. They were unable to locate it. There was no resolution, no replacement, and no meaningful accountability. This is unacceptable, especially when customers are trusting you with high-quality, expensive clothing. The difference between the Sarasota and Brandon locations is stark. If you value your wardrobe, I would strongly recommend avoiding the Brandon Tide Cleaners and choosing a different location or a different cleaner altogether.

When I finally picked up the clothes later and asked if any consideration could be made after I was just told none was going to be given on my $36 bill, the owner, told me in a condescending tone, "Oh no sir, let me take care of that for you but do me a favor and never come back." He said this in front of other customers. I assured him I would never step foot in this business again. Maintenance issues happen, but the lack of accountability, professionalism, and basic respect was appalling. Tide Cleaners lost not just me, but my family as customers, over how this was handled.

She is very busy and her turn around time is usually 3 weeks. Her work is worth the wait. If you need a garment done properly, especially expensive items, she is the seamstress to go to. Just plan ahead. Her shop is in the back of the center. Can be hard to find at first.

The customer before me appeared to be receiving a quicker turnaround at a lower cost. The customer was receiving her item in five days for $50.00, which added to the confusion about consistency in pricing and timelines. I ended up leaving without service. When I picked up the suit, I was told there wasn't enough material in the jacket to loosened it so they just fixed the pants. I tried to explain that it was a suit and only fixing the pants didn't help me at all. The man that works there said I should have told him not to fix the pants, if they couldn't fix the jacket, but i didn't know until I picked up the suit and I was initially told both could be altered. I wear these pants with different shoes i need them where i ask. Recently, i went for some pants to be tailored and cover the heel, i saw her pin them to cover the heel but got the jean jumpsuit back and they are high-waters when worn with the heels i had them tailored to. she only accepts cash, which is quite inconvenient and after this last instance where she wouldn't give me my clothes unless i paid for then all at once. I won't be back. If I want to pay for 2 of the 3 pants i and hemmed, why can I not if I have the money. She wanted to hold them hostage unless I paid for them all. If I had all the CASH to pay for them all, I would've. After one or two visits, her service and kindness leaves. I think my main problem is that you should listen to the customer. As a young individual who enjoys fashion, my standards are not going to be the same as an older woman and i enjoy the style and length that i like and request for.
