Outstanding service, quality of work, price and turn around time…read more I'm always looking for a good alterations place. Most places are hit or miss and I leave clothes concerned about the results. From the start, I had confidence in Kelly. She took the time for me to try the jackets on and knew what the length should be based on the type of jacket. I've been a couple different places where the people didn't know how things should look, only asking what I wanted and if that looked ok. I left two jackets with her to hem the sleaves. My jackets came back in a week and the sleeves were $25 each. They are perfect. The stitching is excellent, the fit is exactly how it should be and the jackets don't look hemmed. The sleeve cuffs are straight and look original. I'll be back here for all my alteration needs.

She told me to come back in a few hours. Whem I returned, this kind, professional lady with blessed hands provided me with exactly what I wanted. My dress zipped all the way up and fitted well.

I used Tide Cleaners in Sarasota for years and had great experiences, which is why I continued…read moreusing Tide after moving to Brandon. Unfortunately, the Brandon location has been a complete disappointment. I brought in an investment piece I wear as a corporate trainer. The dress and matching belt are the same fabric and color and were cleaned together to maintain a consistent, rich black. Due to the Brandon location's boiler being down for several weeks, my items were transported to another location for cleaning. When they were returned, my matching belt was missing. I went back multiple times. They were unable to locate it. There was no resolution, no replacement, and no meaningful accountability. This is unacceptable, especially when customers are trusting you with high-quality, expensive clothing. The difference between the Sarasota and Brandon locations is stark. If you value your wardrobe, I would strongly recommend avoiding the Brandon Tide Cleaners and choosing a different location or a different cleaner altogether.

Town Tailors is the definition of what a family business should be. The service and craftsmanship…read moreon my suits were absolutely incredible--everything fit perfectly and the attention to detail was outstanding. What really set them apart, though, was their kindness. I mentioned that my wife had been in an accident, and without hesitation, she came outside to check on my wife and make sure she was okay. That level of genuine compassion is something you rarely see anymore. In a world where it's hard to find people who truly care, Town Tailors is a special place. They don't just do amazing work--they treat you like family. I can't recommend them highly enough.

One of the charges was $40 to take in two seams on an unlined dress. Not only is that a 5 minute job they price gouged me on, when I went to put the dress on today, the seams are puckered (see pic). The other dress was ok but not great, and the jeans will have to be taken elsewhere the job was done so horribly. Save your money and go elsewhere, I know I will be.

This alteration shop has been in business in Winthrop Town Center for 17 years…read more I had several slacks, shirts and a sport jacket altered over the years. Karen is excellent. Drove about 20-25 minutes to this location for a simple hemming of three pairs of pants. I was told…read morethe turnaround time would be about three weeks, which seemed unusually long for basic alterations. When I asked about the timing, the owner showed me the amount of work currently in progress behind the counter, which appreared to be a relativily small volume (about the size of half a closet). Based on that, the extended turnaround time was surprising. I was offered a faster turnaround of one week, but with an additional $100 fee. That pricing felt excessive for straightforward hemming. The customer before me appeared to be receiving a quicker turnaround at a lower cost. The customer was receiving her item in five days for $50.00, which added to the confusion about consistency in pricing and timelines. I ended up leaving without service. I would recommend calling ahead to confirm turnaround time and pricing before making the trip.

The gentleman stated they also altered the lining because that's what you're supposed to do. They did an excellent job! I was very pleased.

I tried to explain that it was a suit and only fixing the pants didn't help me at all. The man that works there said I should have told him not to fix the pants, if they couldn't fix the jacket, but i didn't know until I picked up the suit and I was initially told both could be altered.
