I used Tide Cleaners in Sarasota for years and had great experiences, which is why I continued using Tide after moving to Brandon. Unfortunately, the Brandon location has been a complete disappointment. I brought in an investment piece I wear as a corporate trainer. The dress and matching belt are the same fabric and color and were cleaned together to maintain a consistent, rich black. Due to the Brandon location's boiler being down for several weeks, my items were transported to another location for cleaning. When they were returned, my matching belt was missing. I went back multiple times. They were unable to locate it. There was no resolution, no replacement, and no meaningful accountability. This is unacceptable, especially when customers are trusting you with high-quality, expensive clothing. The difference between the Sarasota and Brandon locations is stark. If you value your wardrobe, I would strongly recommend avoiding the Brandon Tide Cleaners and choosing a different location or a different cleaner altogether. read more

If I could give a zero-star rating I would. First- and last-time using Tide Cleaners Valrico on Bloomingdale Ave. I dropped off clothes that were urgently needed for a funeral and was assured they'd be ready in time. Instead, I got a last-minute text saying production was halted and my clothes wouldn't be ready until days after the service. My family had to attend the funeral without what we had planned to wear. When I finally picked up the clothes later and asked if any consideration could be made after I was just told none was going to be given on my $36 bill, the owner, told me in a condescending tone, "Oh no sir, let me take care of that for you but do me a favor and never come back." He said this in front of other customers. I assured him I would never step foot in this business again. Maintenance issues happen, but the lack of accountability, professionalism, and basic respect was appalling. Tide Cleaners lost not just me, but my family as customers, over how this was handled. read more

My wash and fold clothes weren't folded correctly and they were very wrinkled! The main reason I bring my wash and fold there to have it done correctly, I could've did this at home and save myself the money I paid to have it done by you guys! read more

3 basic towels and 2 wash cloths - took 3 days and cost $48 - pricing was up front, but not even remotely worth it - absolutely nothing special about the service to make me ever want to use this chain again sadly read more

Since I have launched my professional speaking business I have to wear a lot of suits... each time I visit this location it is always clean and the young ladies working the front are amazing. Also this business has the tide laundry beads for you to try. But wait there's more! If you are thirsty they have a mini fridge full of nice cold water. read more

On my sister's wedding day, we noticed a red lipstick stain on her beautiful white dress. I frantically called several nearby dry cleaners and could not find anyone to take on the dress for her special day as emergency help. I called Tide Cleaners to explain my situation and the owner came on the phone and he sympathized, eagerly offered to help us. Not only did they clean the stain on short notice, but they went above and beyond and steamed the dress! The bride looked gorgeous and the dress impeccable! I am amazed at the level of service and love for our community! Super impressed and will recommend them to anyone I know! The owner and the staff are super sweet, kind and friendly! read more

I took a brand new coat with the tag on it trusting this company to take care of it. I dropped it off and I finally got to see it today. The inside was ripped in three didn't look dried cleaned. I was so angry I cried. This coat was not expensive but little things matter. Like people everyone should be treated with dignity. I forgot how cruel people can be. I am totally disappointed in this people inside working. I remember the lady I gave the coat to she had a smile on her face when I picked up my coat. Please! Please! Please! Go somewhere else. Or just take a picture of before because you won't get the same item back. Cruel!! People working in there. read more

Numerous bad experiences similar to Diona J and Linda noted here. The employees lack any basic courtesy and are simply quiet robots that just want to extract payment. They will give you a dirty look as you arrive and give you the Silent Treatment if you ask a question or make a comment. It is like almost 100% of the staff. They pretend that there is no manager on duty even if you ask for one. If you make a request, they will ignore you until you ask several times. Then they will report you sometimes to the owner/manager who will call you to complain about sending something back not cleaned and he will give you a rant and hang up on you without giving you a chance to explain your side of the story. Unbelievable! Paying a business just to get mistreated and to make you feel like a burden. Keep away and find a personable business as there are many other competitors to choose from. read more

When I first started using this dry cleaners I loved them however after using them alot it seems the prices just keep going higher and higher I will be finding another dry cleaners that will be more affordable because the prices are too high read more

We've been using Tide Dry cleaning for a couple of months and are really happy with the consistent quality of service they provide. Keep an eye out in the osprey observer for 20% off coupons, bring it in with your drop off. The drive thru service is my favorite, never a wait and always easy to get in and out of. read more

Spoke with the owner a few times regarding prices! He said they don't charge extra for next day, wow! Also been there a few times now, its close to my daughters school and so convenient. The way its set-up; you can have a CC on file so anybody can pick up your items. I am very pleased with the job on my shirts and slacks wow again! This place rocks! They offer you water from the fridge, lollipops for the kids, super fast service with a smile, very reasonable prices , better than most in town, I hope this place stays this great! read more

We don't usually need dry cleaners, which is why I kept forgetting to drop off our clothes for an upcoming wedding. Tide got them in and done in 24 hours and was reasonably priced! read more

We began using Tide cleaners as soon as they opened. Our previous cleaner lost our clothes more than once and the chemical smell was too strong. We have been very happy with how quickly they are able to have our clothes cleaned and returned. They set everything up online so that you are notified when your items are ready for pick up, it charges automatically so you don't spend extra time trying to pay making pick up and drop off quick. When you set everything up, you are able to pick up at their valet during any hour, and drop-off is always open. They also have coupons that are printed when you pick them up. If we ever did have an issue, as we had with our previous cleaner, I feel confident they would resolve it quickly. The staff has been very friendly, and the owners are very kind. I highly recommend using Tide for your dry cleaning. read more

First time using their services and I will never use them again. I arrived to pick-up my clothes right at closing. The employees simply stared at me through the door and refused to acknowledge my presence even after watching me knock. Apparently there's a 24 hour pick-up option which I couldn't get the details about how to arrange as I was ignored at the door. I was forced to leave for my trip without my belongings. I am disgusted at the lack of service. I do not recommend this business to anyone. read more

Great service! I moved from out of state and I love how easy this cleaners is. Drive up and go!

Well, it's 7 months later and I'm still waiting for the phone call from the manager. It looks good that they replied and indicated that they were interested in my business.... I just wanted to let everyone know not to be fooled. They couldn't care less. My review stands and is backed up. Stay away, folks. read more

I've used Tide Cleaners quite a few times in the past but this latest trip will be my last. On a few occasions, I've told them my last name and they can never find me in their system. Takes a few tries. I always show my 20% off coupon up front. This last time when I went the next day to pick up my order, I paid the astronomical price of $31 for 3 items and discovered that the coupon was never applied. When I asked about it they acknowledged it and told me I could receive credits for my NEXT order. When I asked for the manager, I received the same answer. I said, I want the credit back to my debit card for THIS order. She said she couldn't refund me as it takes 2 weeks for chargebacks with the bank. What?! I then told her to give me a cash refund. "I don't know if we can do that. I'll need to check." After going back inside, she says they can refund me. The refund would have been $6.19. She came back out with $6. So be careful, people. Their prices keep increasing, their turnover is high, and they scam you. read more

Great fast service! They have same day service too! The Tide experience is very unique

Very happy with the service. I've had problems only once which they quickly and happily resolved. Great service. Quick turn around. Very professional. Good location, wish there was another one up on 60 LOL Highly recommendable! read more

This is a game changer-- fast, convenient, and reasonably priced. With my work schedule, rushing around to pick up and drop off dry cleaning during limited hours is a huge pain. Used Tide twice so far, including once with the high tech machine that allows for pick up or drop off even if the store itself is closed. Super convenient and great results. read more

This is honestly my favorite dry cleaners. Dropped off my boyfriends suit and they were able to have it ready in 24 hours with no extra charge. There's valet so they will come to your car to get the clothes you need dry cleaned. Prices are extremely fair. And if you're a first time customer you get 50% off. You're able to leave your card on file and there's a little kiosk that you can pick up your clothes from 24/7 in a secure way. Quite impressed with the customer service and it took me 5 mins to drop off clothes and pay. read more

I knew I needed to give this company a 5 star review when the owner, Barry made an exception to have my husbands suit dry cleaned same day even though I missed the cutoff time. He serviced me through the valet and did not charge me extra for the rush. The place was neat and professional. This was my first time here and I will no longer use any other cleaners. I don't want to name the young girls that worked there because they may be under age, but everyone was truly outstanding! read more

I'm curious if customers are aware that Tide somehow tracks the clothing items you bring in and associates them to YOU? I gave some clothing to a friend, and actually recommended Tide for anything they needed cleaned, especially if they had the new customer coupons. Today, they dropped off several items and their coupon, only to be called back later and told that two of the items had been cleaned there previously u Dee a different account and therefore they would not honor the coupon for those items. My friend explained that they had never used Tide before and the items were now theirs., was told again that since the items had been cleaned there before they were associated with someone else's account and didn't qualify for the new customer discount. Needless to say, the items were picked back up and taken around the corner to a less expensive but just as good cleaner. I don't know what they could possibly scan to track an item of clothing, but I find this both unsettling and ridiculous. Imagine donating clothing to a local charity where it's given to someone in need who takes it in to be cleaned and would be put through this.... how embarrassing that could be...?!? The cleaners the items were taken to after retrieving from Tide was just as shocked to hear the story. I do plan to research to determine how this type of tracking takes place and the legality of it, and Tide will not get any business from me again - and i will share this with everyone i know. Word of mouth can be very powerful these days, especially with small business struggling and Corp chains treating customers like this ... horribly! read more

This place has the best owners and customer service I have ever seen. True story just Friday night- first time using them and wife dropped off my clothes for a business trip to the Philippines last Saturday. We went to use the 24/7 auto pick up not knowing it required a credit card on file prior (our fault). The machine had a number to call and the owner picked up way after hours. Said he would be on his way out past 10 pm on a Friday night. This is the old school customer service and work ethic this country was build on. Just cannot say enough how I appreciated it. This was my first experience with Tide in Valrico, but they made a lastly customer in a single visit. Regards, Michael Taylor read more

I typically don't ever write reviews but they absolutely deserve one. Not only do they do a fantastic job, they always bail me out when I need a work uniform pressed and cleaned by the next day. If I could give zero stars I would. I am furious!! This is the second and last time I will go here. First time they lost one piece of a two piece dress. This time - and I gave specific repetitive instructions to NOT launder and only dry clean a hand made hand knit sweater made of cotton and alpaca. However when I went to pick it up today it was not ready because they washed it and it was not yet dry. Manager Barry if you are reading this, not charging me does not make this right. That sweater better not have shrunk or gotten ruined. read more

Received my jeans back with the zipper still broken after waiting for more than 2 weeks to have it repaired. This is my first and last time using Tide Cleaners. I called to give them a chance to make this right and they offer to have it completed, but I would have to wait for another 2 weeks. The Manager couldn't even be bothered to get on the phone with me. Very poor service. read more
