When I arrived for the appointment, I was told that my appointment didn't show on the Waterville, Maine, computer. Therefore, they couldn't serve me, and I would have to make another appointment. Another person named Peggy had her appointment confirmed for that time. As far as I'm concerned, I should have been served because I was there, on time, and she was not. We both had appointments, the only difference being the computer entry. I did show the fellow the original email showing I had made the appointment, but at that time, I was a bit rattled and hadn't yet found the confirmation. The fellow did admit that he understood that I did have this appointment even though I didn't show him the actual confirmation. If he made a sincere apology for this problem, I certainly didn't hear it. I was simply to understand that the computer had made a mistake, and I was supposed to understand. I am a longtime customer of the Waterville Tire Warehouse, and hope to remain so. But I feel I should have at the very least received a sincere apology, and perhaps a coupon as compensation for my time lost. Generally, I would give Tire Warehouse an excellent rating, but this time they failed me and didn't respect the fact that my time is valuable too.

This is just my experience however…read more Before going we heard this place had the best prices so we decided we would go there to get 4 new tires and also have them balanced and mounted. Everything went smoothly that day and if we didn't have to go back that is where this story would end and they would have received 5 stars. But a businesses true colors really show when there is a problem and they are obligated to fix it. After we got our new tires we took the 5 min drive home and there sat our car for 3 days until I noticed one tire was flat. We took it back an hour before closing and the staff made sure we knew how inconvenient that was for them. The manager was the only one that was nice to us. He said to pull up and they would take a look at it. We ended up waiting an hour with 2 very cranky babies in the car (which isn't their problem I get it but it's stressful to a parent) only to have a pissed off looking guy slat away taking off the tire and smoking his cigarette. Once the tire was "fixed" he put it back on and knowing well we had 2 crying babies and 2 adults in the car lowered the jack as fast as he could so to just drop the car. That really pissed me off as I knew he could hear crying babies in the car and I know you can lower jacks slowly. After that he just walks off. We wait there for someone to tell us what the problem ended up being for 10 minutes until I yelled out "are we all set? Is the tire fixed?" Without even looking at us he says "yup". ...well thanks for the hospitality friend! Glad that was over. The next morning the tire was flat... again. Again I called the manager, he was nice enough and said to bring it in. As I filled the tire with air I actually found the leak in our tire. It was coming out of inside the tread. There was no hole, nail sticking out, bad seal, broken glass, cracked rim or even a scratch indicating a puncture. It was clearly a manufacture defect. Remembering my conversation with the manager when I bought them, he told us that they had a warranty and would replace defective tires. I was relieved the problem would surly be fixed. You know what they did? They patch the tire! I argued they needed to replace it, they said I must have ran something over (you know in the 2.6 miles we drove on the way home) In the end it's their word against mine and they are going to do what ever benefits them. In the end the patch fixed the leak thankfully and now I will never ever have to return to this place.

I called Winslow's VIP but mistakenly pulled into Waterville's VIP instead. Tyler and his co-worker from Waterville VIP came to the rescue by topping off our coolant, finding the cause of the leak, and safely leading us in the right direction to get the car fixed by the good men of Winslow's VIP. Johnny (professional as heck manager) and Zachary (the dopest mechanic ever) from Winslow's VIP made time to fix our car, despite being appointment only, at a reasonable price. Also sidenote: the stars somehow aligned where Winslow's VIP just happened to have the parts to replace our radiator. Doug's sent my son and I in our truck they repaired that was unsafe.  We lost our brakes and went…read morethrough traffic light.  We had 7 sets of brake pads, 7 rotors, 4 calipers in a 13 month period ..still messed up!!  Doug's told us our calipers where good 3 times but then they ruined our new parts.  They refused  to warrantee work blaming it on our calipers that they inspected for us.  They left Emergency brake unhooked and didn't inspect their brake work allowing us to drive it.   Doug's told us they are busy!   Convinced us we needed water pump and we don't believe we ever did.  Out a few thousand and have a truck that don't work!  Do yourself a favor and take your vehicle elsewhere.
