MAKE THAT 0 STARS... So, we brought our car to the business…read moredue to the sunroof being shattered by a car wash. When we first went there, Alicia was very pleasant and eager to help. We were undecided about where to bring our car, and based on their having a volvo dealership, we decided to have it repaired by them. This was assuming they knew how to repair cars. The 1st time we picked up the car, we were unable to try the sunroof b/c of the snow. We tried it once we got it in our garage and when we tried to open it, there was a horrible grinding/crushing sound. We immediately closed it. We let Alicia know and she told us to bring it back and they would take care of it. No problem. Brought it back. Picked it up a 2nd time. Same crushing/grinding sound. This time, we brought it in a 3rd time and spoke with Todd(manager) who assured me he would have it taken care of as this was a complicated sunroof assembly. We picked it up, and sadly we waited until the following week to try it out on a gorgeous day. SAME PROBLEM. Brought it back a 4th time, and spoke with Rene who finally admitted that the technicians "probably don't have the knowledge to fix this". By this time, they're pretty much blaming us for their mechanical ineptitude. Todd spoke to me via phone, and let me know that basically all I paid for was for the glass replacement. So, I wonder if you had a front collision and the bumper and radiator were damaged if they would only replace the bumper and tell you the rest is not their problem. We will not bring the car to such an incompetent place of business for the 5th time. BUYER BEWARE.....CAVEAT EMPTOR

The hood and windshield were the parts that needed to be replaced. I was told by the body shop that I would get a used hood but it would be painted. I was told the fenders would be painted to match the hood color. When I went to pick up the car neither fender was painted even though my bill showed that the work was done. I asked why they werent painted as I was told they would be and why the charges for painting them was on my bill. The cost was taken off the bill and I was told that it wasnt necessary to paint the fenders because the color matched the hoods color which was supposedly just painted. If the hood was just painted it didnt make sense that it would match 17 year old paint on the fenders. The hood was used and where there were dings you could see that touch up paint was used and the color did not match the hood color. The car is silver and there was a red spot on the hood. If the hood was freshly painted there shouldnt be a red dot or touch up paint used. It just proved to me that I was being billed for work not done. The car was taken back in to the shop for a long time to have the ding spots and the red spot buffed. I was not impressed by this because it did not change the fact that the hood didnt look freshly painted as I was billed for. I complained to my ins. co. who said they saw the before and after pictures sent to them from the body shop and were happy with the work. I guess the owner of the vehicle being unhappy with the work doesnt matter to either the body shop or the ins co. I informed my ins. co that I am never using that shop again and I will be looking for a new ins co.
