Danis had my mother's car a Chrysler PT Cruiser 2002 to just replace her car battery and that's was it, she already purchased a car battery and just need a garage to take the old one out and replace it with the new one, that was a short of simple job to do, for a professional mechanic, but when my half sister Crystal Landry called to see if he was done with my mother's Linda Landry's car he answered the phone calmly and then started to jump down my half-sisters throat screaming at her that he will not be fucking bossed around about his work and when to do it, and he was pretty slanders about it, and refused to work on my mothers car "NOW", all cause my half-sister Crystal Landry called and asked him if her car was done yet?? And it will take me about 15 minutes to pick her up to bring her over to pick up her car if it's done? My half-sister Crystal had her girlfriend listen on the phone as Ethan J. Danis was screaming at her over the phone and saying, "Fuck You" and I won't Work on your mother's car, you can come and pick it up and go some place else with it and have them do the job!!! And it was just a simple job for a "Professional" Auto-Mechanic if he was one in the first place, but by the looks of it he could not even do a simple break job on the car head of my mothers car, and in fact my mother called him her self after my half-sister called and she asked what was up, and why he refused to do the work on her car to replace the battery? He started "Yelling" and "Screaming" at her over the phone too and bashing her that because my half-sister Crystal Landry called him earlier to ask him if my mother's car was done yet, so she could bring her to come pick it up and fallow her home, because she has things to do tonight and get home early. He was also saying he was having a hard time working on the car before my mothers car and it was a break job and he was having a hard time at doing it, and he would not be able to get to her car yet and he does not want to be told what to do or when to "fucking" do it!! Neither my mother nor my half-sister Crystal Landry was speaking to him over the phone in any manner of to tell him how to do his job or when to do it, they was just asking if he was done replacing the battery yet, because he told them it be done with in an hour or so, the most as long as there was No complications during the job, then just about an Hour and Half the most. So, you see he gave them estimated time when to expect the battery replacement job be done. So, You and your daughter can come get your car its all charged up and you can come get it now!!! And he hanged up on my mother. (He just charged the old battery so it could startup, but he did not even do that, he just tore my mother's steering wheel cover off her steering wheel and left it that way.) So, Ethan J. Danis is Abusive Auto-machinic and not a good person to do business with at all!!! All he had to do was tell my mother or half-sister he can't get to her car yet; cause he's having trouble on another job he's doing and her's will just have to wait till tomorrow. And my mother and half-sister would accept that and would of understand that he's having troubles with another car, and she just have to wait till tomorrow for her battery replacement job to be done is all. But "NO" Ethan J. Danis Owner of Rotary Garage 383 Water Street, Augusta, ME 04330, was mean and Abusive and yelling at my mother Linda Landry and half-sister Crystal Landry. And he had my mother's vehicle overnight too, since 4:15 PM Est, October 19th, 2021, through to Wednesday October 20th, 2021, time 4:30 PM Est. When my mother got there to pick up her car, he was still inside in the garage working on someone else car and he was making a lot of noise too, and my mother just got her keys to her car and left with her car.

I had to schedule an appointment over 10 days out now and when leaving an employee put a cigarette in his mouth at the front desk and walked out, three staff were outside goofing off lifting wheel parts and three staff on assuming a break when a dozen customers are waiting seemed like a serious lack of professionalism. The manager wouldn't even come and give me an explanation to the mishap. The woman at the counter went to ask the manager what to do and blamed me for not calling and they had several appointments for the same time. It is not my fault their systems aren't working and I was rejected to leave my car to be worked on at their convenience. Permanently taking my money and business elsewhere this was the worst service and experience despite constant effort as a customer.

These were small things and the overall job was very well done, especially the dash detail work and the carpeting/mats and we really appreciated his high quality work on our vehicle. On September 17, 2017, I arrived for an oil change and inspection combo for my 2009 Honda Civic. At first, when you go to appointments, you get the usual feeling from almost anywhere. You walk in, check in, hand them the keys, and they go to town! However, I ran into some issues with my car. My car needed new tires when I just previously got new tires elsewhere and asked them for advice if I needed two more tires before I inspect my car (I know very little about cars). They never said anything so I assumed I was in great standings. Ready! Set! Go! Never worked out, unfortunately, I needed two more, the technician brought me into the garage showed me how my tires were changing and gave me a few ideas what may be causing it. (Has never happened to me anywhere I have been that is a chain company or even some small businesses, gave it a personal touch). My Honda Civic has never had any previous problems before, so when he told me the struts are possibly going and causing the rippling in my tires. I was thankful to know that my car would possibly need this repair to prevent further damage to my new tires and the tires I was about to purchase today. I was very pleased with the update on the inspection, completed the tasks needed for my inspection and the best deal they could be offering, and I wasn't going to let it go to waste, a free inspection! (It's the little things right!!!!) The tires were placed on the car, all the benefits that come with their tires and a new oil change to boot! I took my car in today for a rear wheel bearing.... I also mentioned to technician that I had very little power when climbing hills. I was met with friendly service, as always, by manager Dustin (a complete rockstar) and my tech guy who (sorry, forget your name) was awesome and had previously worked at VW so plus plus there! EVERYTIME I have come here, they do a diagnostic work up and then bring you out to the garage and SHOW you what is wrong. They then write up a written estimate so you know what the cost is in advance. I am a very suspicious person of service people because of bad experiences in past with garages and I have never thought they were padding the costs with unnecessary work. If you aren't sure ask! They will happily show you and explain to you the issue. This tech was even able to fix my throttle head issue and $$$ later, I have a car that no longer sounds like it will implode and enough power to spare! Unlike some of the other commentators, I have never been offered a free anything to post a comment. I am a business owner and appreciate great service. Would have been a fifth star had it not been a five hour wait...in VIP's defense...I did not have an appointment and they got me in same day! My car broke down in Augusta , on my way home to RI. My car was towed to VIP. They were very busy and after explaining my emergency and had my 84 yr old mother in the car with me , they came outside to look at the car. The head mechanic said its 78.00 dollars an hour for labor and might take awhile he said my timing belt went. I told him I needed to get home, JT was incharge there he really pushed to get the car done since they were filled with appointments. They were so nice and I know the head mechanic was busy he did everything do get the car ready in a few hours. JT was great had such great customer service and all the guys were very helpful while we waited there. Finally they were done at 6pm the head mechanic was working on a transmission and he had to stop to help us out which was very kind of him. We got home at 10 pm to RI and the car is running great, thanks JT and VIP. We appreciate the time you took in our emergency. read more

I went to VIP the beginning of this week and talked to a couple workers and explained what was going on with my truck. I explained I also have an exteneded warranty and wasn't sure how to proceed to get my truck fixed. They were very helpful and explained what to do and how to go about with the warranty! They did a 1 Hour diagnostics test and ran over about 45 minutes and the gentlemen that looked at my truck said dont worry about it he would pay for it. The reason why he ran over was because he wanted to make sure nothing else was wrong with my truck because when I dropped my truck off I explained I have 2 babies and need my truck safe for them! I was so very happy with my service! The men I worked with were very pleasant and friendly with a devoation to help the customers! My daughter was in the market to buy a car. I took a vehicle there for an inspection prior to purchasing. They found some small problems with it, including a lot of rust underneath. We were very interested in purchasing prior to this but wanted the owner to go down on the price based on this information. The owner was not willing to and the car still sits on the lawn up to this very day. lol They wrote up a wonderful detailed diagnostic problem that I was able to take back to the owner. On 4/23/17 I checked in to have 2 tires mounted and balanced. Corbin the service writer was very quick and got me going in just a min. He informed me that there was a new tech doing my tires and they were training him on tires and it might take a little bit longer than usual. I was impressed that they had formal training for new employees instead of just throwing them into the ring. I had 2 large tires being mounted and they were calling for a lot of weight. The tech let me know and did his best to get it close. They ride like a Cadillac ! Great communication got me in and out I give them 5 stars. Recommend there service any day . read more

The gentleman working behind the counter was super busy and behind on his paperwork but his customer service to everyone who walked through the door was exceptional and even though he wasn't able to fit them in for an appointment he was willing to find them someone who would. He also made sure to explain any other concerns with my car and didn't put pressure on me to give him an answer right then. We went to them 4 more times, oil change, leaking radiator, some strange noises and vehicle inspection. All 4 times they were professional and honest. They also have a nice perk with free car washes for the life of your car, but we live too far away to take advantage of them, though will swing in whenever we head north. They went and got the keys from college security, inspected the car. Identified the problem (a low voltage problem, reset the sensor and re-delivered the car back to school. All in a day. Bath Subaru wasn't able to even look at the car for 10 days, so we tried Charlie's. Andy in the service department agreed to have the car looked at the same day, despite being fully booked on a holiday weekend. They were not able to repair our car, due to having to order a part. However, Andy gave us a detailed report with his head mechanic assuring us the car was road safe (just no off-roading for us!). We were there for a little over an hour. Thanks, Charlie's Subaru service department for saving our vacation!

Somebody $285 to the stuff that they might use while doing the job that I'm paying $2000 for. They said they weren't going to do the job unless I pay that 285.00. Guess who didnt pay that? Yes me.
