I love love love Town East Mall's Dillard's. My go to shoe store for most of my heels. Antonio Melani is my go to brand, and now A Love is slowly becoming a favorite. All of the sales associates are always overly attentive from the shoe department, fragrance and beauty, intimates and women's sections. My go-to associates are both Mrs. Pat's. One is in the shoe department, the other is in women's directly across from the shoe department. Considering how often I frequent this location I know its a location worth the value!

Online clearly shows mall opens @ 10 but it does not open until 11.

Wave in town east mall!!!! Sold me a blood infested dress! I asked for a discount so i can take it to the cleaners and they said no. I'm sure it's already on clearance bc of the blood! So now everyone has touched this blood from wave in town East mall! Reporting this everywhere! Needs better management and to be shut down ASAP until they have better sanitation training!!!!!

I grew up right around the corner from the mall in Garland. It has changed a lot since I was younger with new stores coming in and older ones leaving. The demographics of the store have also changed with a much younger crowd coming into the mall. For the most part the products have stayed the same and the mall itself is still full of life and in a premiere location, directly next to a major freeway. People will find mostly anything they need if they come to Town East Mall, just be sure to catch major sales early or late because the traffic can be ridiculous to navigate! Besides that one minor drawback Town East Mall is one of the top malls in the city of Dallas and will have much of the stuff we look for. H&M, Forever 21, Victoria Secret, Dallas Cowboys Pro Shop, and those are only a few things that are going on at the mall. They have annual events going on to get the blood flowing!

I finally got an opportunity to see this mall (Mesquite is a bit of a drive from Fort Worth), but I was in the area so I took advantage of it and checked Town East Mall out. Being an outsider, I have to say that I was impressed by the overall mall experience. Besides the Galleria, I've rarely been in a 3 story mall. I like the layout of the food court -accessible from pretty much everywhere in the mall. And I like the layout of the mall itself (though it would be great if they had a way to cut under the food court). As far as the mix of guest in the mall (which seems to be a topic of interest in the reviews) I can say that this is indeed a diverse mall (people of all races were present here). But overall, this is a nice casual mall (no high-end stores here) and someplace I'd probably revisit if I was in the area again.

(YELP CHALLENGE 100 #6) I been going to this mask since I was a kid and I've have seen this mall grow. This mall continues to amaze me with the variety of stores and the continuation of them adding stores. I may earn you that this mall can attract a lot of high school kids but what mall doesn't. This mall is always clean and always have security as well. Overall this is one of the malls I go to

Not sure why there's so many bad reviews this place is amazing. One of the few malls left with real life in it!

Management is very rude and unhelpful. Won't issue permit for anything for groups.

Not recommended. Mall is like a Bazar. Most of the time AC does not work. Galleria Mall is far more better than this mall.

Not a bad mall at all. Alot of options and clean. Food court upstairs wasn't bad at all. Plenty of walking space which is a huge plus.

Their Halloween stuff is boss too, I always get really cool finds. This time I came in for a shelf and wasn't disappointed, found what I was looking for quickly. A VERY friendly greeter named Ishmael (I believe) was so warm the minute I walked in the door. He was wiping down shopping carts and sanitizing every surface and gave me an enthusiastic welcome and passed me a freshly-cleaned cart. When I found the shelf I wanted, he loaded it onto a flat dolly for me and wheeled it up to the cashier, pointed me out to her, and waited around to make sure I had everything I needed. The cashier was friendly and efficient as well, and they told me to pull my car to the curb and they'd load it for me. The manager himself (I didn't catch his name, sorry) came out to help me fold down my seats/take out my car seat and fit the shelf into my Kia, and was so friendly and polite. Couldn't be happier with this location. All around a great experience.

$$

This is Macy's new outlet store, the first one in metro Dallas. (There's also one opening in FW)…read more Saw a story in the Dallas Morning News about it and thought I'd check it out, as I spend a lot of $$ at outlet stores, and at Macy's! So I drove 30 miles roundtrip to Town East Mall, which is closer for me than driving to Allen (but not to The Shops at Park Lane's outlet stores). This "outlet store" is actually just another department located inside the regular Macy's Town East store and isn't separated by a door, or anything else. It's difficult to find in the store, with no signs pointing the way, not to mention no "Grand Opening," or anything else! I had to ask two sales associates (who are also difficult to find, btw) where it was. It's just a very small, oddly-configured rectangular area of the store on the lower level. It is not "clearance" from other Macy's stores; rather, for the most part it's cheap, unknown-name merchandise purchased for the "outlets." But, at the same time, they had what was apparently a real Gucci (under lock and key) and a real Tory Burch handbag for sale. Even though the whole area is very small, for some reason they devoted a great deal of space to selling soft drinks and junk-food snacks, which one would think they would be concerned might get spilled on the merchandise! Their shoe racks also contain very little merchandise, and they had a "decor" section with tacky rattan furniture and velvet hangers that looked like they were from DD's Discounts! Clothing is seasonal, with nearly every single women's top and dress I saw being sleeveless. They also have a kids' section. The fitting rooms (here called "dressing rooms" - what a novel concept!) have nice, three-way mirrors in the stalls, but they're not carpeted. Instead, there's a cement-like floor. An employee told me it was because carpet "doesn't absorb odors." Huh? Are they needing easy mop-ups because they're expecting homeless people-- or kids-- urinating on them? Or maybe to clean up spilled soda and candy that they sell? Thank God at least they don't have unisex dressing rooms, such as at Target and at Bloomingdale's Outlet! The background-noise level in the "store" was extremely loud and irritating. Not only that, there were two completely different styles of rock music blaring together so loudly with such cacophony that it made me want to cut my shopping short and run out of the store ASAP: "I'll confess! I'll confess!" They do accept Macy's credit cards, but you can't use your Macy's coupons. Also there's no 15% extra discount, or any other incentive, for using your Macy's card. I had to find out these facts from a manager, as the employee who was checking me out was clueless when I asked her. And they're so cheap, when I bought a maxi skirt and insisted they leave it on the hanger, they admitted they didn't have a long, plastic bag for it, only short ones, so they could save money. And unlike at regular Macy's, I was told you only have 30 days for a return.
