Customized shirt
Zariere D.

Went to the tshirt shop to get customized tshirts for an upcoming event. Selected shirt design and shop could not do what they said. Have seen decent designs done but it seems they let a child decorate our shirts. Very disappointed as they barely accommodated us. Shop did not offer any refunds or discounted price while we payed in advance. Complete let down and left us with messed up shirts. Very rude and incompetent staff, would never go back.

Always gonna show love for Big T. Got a nice cut and beard hookup from Yung at No Capp Cutz & Styles.

The custom t shirt place in this bazaar is horrible. He pressed my shirt wrong and told me afterwards sometimes the material mess up. Instead of telling me beforehand he did it anyway. It was supposed to be a cold peel and instead he peeled it off too soon which caused my shirt to be messed up. He made it seem like it was my fault and being rude stating "why did you come here?" I don't recommend him or his shop to anyone!!

I went to Big T to get my daughter shirts mad for the family for her birthday. So from the beginning I walked to the store no one acknowledged me and then I had a little kid take the order (couldn't find a blank piece of pap on top of the Clutter). I gave them the drawing I wanted. Fast forward they did a terrible job on the shirts and it was nothing like I wanted. The kid claims I never sent an email of what I wanted but of course I had proof. (Remind you I'm communicating with a child) So he does them again and they are wayyy better than the first batch but the glitter was terrible. I didn't know when they would be done, so of course I texted the kid. (Y'all the kid told me he got tired and wasn't working there anymore) like who do I text more and call. I will never go get anything done again at Big T. (Graffiti shirts)

Bomb nails

Although most people don't like the environment for one big T literally has every single outfit fashion nova sells but for cheaper! The Nail salon is the bomb! They don't rush your nails shape them very well! Cute designs!

The nail tech gave me 2 different pinks to choose from!... (Smh!.. Really?!?)

This felt like the Portland of Dallas…read more Since everyone else is going to talk about the funky, eclectic, communal and hippie vibe, and the 60 independent businesses, I will mention some history: 1. The neighborhood was nicknamed "The Devil's Back Porch" back in the 1920s. I hope that was not a reference to his butt. 2. This was one of the busiest streetcar stops in all of Dallas in the 1930s, which is the reason the shops are close together. 3. The restaurant Paradiso is L shaped because it was built around century-old trees. 4. Bonnie (of Bonnie and Clyde) worked as a waitress in this area before her crime spree began. Rumor has it she needed money to afford the $8 slices of pie at Emporium Pies. Only three things sucked: 1) Parking is difficult on weekends. 2) Cops are everywhere, so don't jaywalk. 3) The people with clipboards asking you to donate to blue whale abortions or whatever are aggressive.

There was live music, food trucks and plenty of vendors. They had a couple of older model cars on display which was cool. When we entered the bazaar there was a lady there to welcome us to the event which was nice. I enjoyed a refreshing drink at a food truck and got street style tacos from another vendor. The live music was upbeat and complimented the event. We were able to walk around and explore a majority of the vendors. I ended up buying a couple of things from the vendor. The bishop arts bazaar occurs in the fall once a month on Sunday. Attending the bazaar was a lovely way to spend the Sunday afternoon.

They have shirts as low as 1.00 and I didn't see anything over 25.00. They had cute dresses, jeans, shoes, and cute costume jewelry all for reasonable prices. Men folk aren't left out either...they all kinds of jeans, shirts, jackets also! It's a big store but not so big you can't find something for everyone. However, the larger sizes go quickly but they get new stuff in all the time so check back often. I say we can never have too many cool stores to shop in and add this one to the list!

I took them back & was told that they would not do anything about it. You could clearly see that the damage to the jeans were caused by poor quality & not from a snag. I was then told to contact corporate which i did & no one ever answers or returns your calls. This is unacceptable i work hard for my money & would appreciate if i could spend it on a quality product at a store that will honor its return policy on a faulty product. You decided it was ok to keep my hard earned money after selling me a cheap made product so im going to take your money by leaveing a bad review on every site that you are associated with.

They were reduced on the shelf and inflated in the computer system they use. There were three items that I bought that I noticed there was an increase in cost. The first was a bag of potatoes (russet). Advertised on the shelf to be $2.99 but were $3.59. Second, Folgers coffee labeled to cost $11.52 but actually rang up to cost $12.39. Third, Sugar in the raw labeled as a rewards value to be $3.69 but cost was $4.69. Although the difference is less than $3.00 at $2.47 this small amount over the coarse of shopping experiences will add up to a lot of money being stolen out of my pocket and others who live on a tight budget. I used my rewards telephone number to see if that made a difference in the total bill. Sadly it did not. I could have asked the staff to make an adjustment however that would have taken time at an already Self-checkout lane! (We who use self checkout should have an automatic savings of say conservatively 10% off the total bill just because we are doing the work) saving the company money to hire an employee whether with benefits are not. The hourly employee is the target in which is being squeezed out of a real working wage to support a family with. At least with more of incentive for customers to patronize a store there could be room for growth in negotiating a high wage for those who depend on a second income. This particular store had a lot of empty shelves that needed to either be restocked or new inventory had not arrived yet. I did see order takers around the store filling those internet orders. There were a couple of lanes open with checkers available after I got in the self checkout out lane. There were no lights on indicating the lanes were open. I checked myself out at 8:59 pm on a Tuesday. Advice check the advertised sticker price against the computers price input! I remember that a grocery store would give an incorrect priced item free to a customer if it was inaccurate. I guess there is nothing stopping a huge big box store from cheating customers out of their hard earned money!!! Target I see you!!! I will be on the look out for your shenanigans in the future.

We decided to poke around in Oak Cliff & Bishop Arts District, and I thought it was strange that no one was walking around... you know, on the sidewalk? .... anywhere. But I guess that's just an Austin thing? Anyway. We wandered in & out of shops & galleries & I am NOT a shopper & I was about to just say, "let's go back to the car so we can go back to the hotel so I can be bored in the hotel room" when I saw a CUTE messenger bag in the window. I walked inside, found a dress (super cute), a scarf (I had no idea I was so into scarves, my goodness!), some cigars (I don't even know if I can smoke them but it seems so fun right now), a few shirts, and .... S#@^. They're out of the messenger bags. Except the one on the display. I'm gonna be that person. There, I did it. The GREATEST thing about this shop is that it's in Dallas. Let me explain: all the things I found here can be found at any number of shops in the Triangle, on South Congress, 2nd Street, all over Austin in hip little boutiques. But most people in Dallas don't dress like most people in Austin. So my awesome messenger bag was only $11. The dress was $19. You get the idea. I'm not saying I will EVER drive to Dallas just to go shopping... but if I'm there again any time soon (I will be, it's basketball season!), I'm going to head back to Boomer's.
