My service today was actually good, considering that I used self checkout. However, my concern is this restroom. I usually dont use public restrooms and this is exactly why. It was not clean and hadnt been cleaned since this morning, at least according to the chart on the door. This just screams germs everywhere and lack of how the employees respect their workplace. I found myself in need of a pleasant shopping experience so, I went to my nearest Target. I did not find it very peaceful there. For one thing there were prices which were not correct. They were reduced on the shelf and inflated in the computer system they use. There were three items that I bought that I noticed there was an increase in cost. The first was a bag of potatoes (russet). Advertised on the shelf to be $2.99 but were $3.59. Second, Folgers coffee labeled to cost $11.52 but actually rang up to cost $12.39. Third, Sugar in the raw labeled as a rewards value to be $3.69 but cost was $4.69. Although the difference is less than $3.00 at $2.47 this small amount over the coarse of shopping experiences will add up to a lot of money being stolen out of my pocket and others who live on a tight budget. I used my rewards telephone number to see if that made a difference in the total bill. Sadly it did not. I could have asked the staff to make an adjustment however that would have taken time at an already Self-checkout lane! (We who use self checkout should have an automatic savings of say conservatively 10% off the total bill just because we are doing the work) saving the company money to hire an employee whether with benefits are not. The hourly employee is the target in which is being squeezed out of a real working wage to support a family with. At least with more of incentive for customers to patronize a store there could be room for growth in negotiating a high wage for those who depend on a second income. This particular store had a lot of empty shelves that needed to either be restocked or new inventory had not arrived yet. I did see order takers around the store filling those internet orders. There were a couple of lanes open with checkers available after I got in the self checkout out lane. There were no lights on indicating the lanes were open. I checked myself out at 8:59 pm on a Tuesday. Advice check the advertised sticker price against the computers price input! I remember that a grocery store would give an incorrect priced item free to a customer if it was inaccurate. I guess there is nothing stopping a huge big box store from cheating customers out of their hard earned money!!! Target I see you!!! I get in line to check out, And stool about a minute before the cashier looks up, at me,He tells me he's close mind you his light was on. So then I go over to the next line which I have no problem with,but then, as I'm still waiting in line to check out, he returns to his register and tell the person behind me can he help them. Mind you I was next in line,so I asked I thought you were close after I just stood in your line and I came over to the next line. His replied that he went to the restroom. OK but I was still next in line. He still continue to help other customers that were behind me. No apology or anything but continue to help others that were behind me. Way to go to target. read more

This review is strictly for what I witnessed in the parking lot and not the actual store itself. This morning I came to buy some last minute valentines cards for my daughter and the only parking available was at the very back. I parked not paying much attention to my surrounding. And I happened to notice the guy in front of me acting a little erotic. I blew it off and continued doing what I was doing. Next thing I know he's getting into a completely different car. Still don't think too hard about it. He drives off and I assume he's left. I just so happen to look up and he just drove up a couple of spaces in front of me and is next to a completely different car. So I start watching him and realize he's looking into this car. He starts acting erotic and bouncing around. Walks down a few cars on his phone and then back to the random car and tries getting inside. So I honked my horn at him and he got back into his car and drove off. At this point I don't want to go inside but I'm not sure how to alert the security car. During this time he circled my car a few times and pulls in right next me to. I ended up calling 911. And they came out. But I won't ever be back here. If you shop here often please be super aware of your surroundings and LOCK YOUR CAR. read more

We stopped in while out of town and this was by far the WORST Target I've ever been in. There were clothes all over the floor, shoes just thrown around the aisles, stacks of clothes unorganized on the displays. No one in there seemed to care to fix it. We got a couple books and left as soon as we could. It was very disappointing and I feel really bad for the workers and customers. Corporate needs to make a "Undercover Boss" visit there. read more

Located right off 20 and right before 67 if you are headed to Grand Prairie. I just needed a belt because I forgot mine at home before packing for this trip to Dallas. Target is always a favorite of mine when you need good quality stuff. Though Walmart is better in savings I don't always think they have the best quality clothing. Also Targets pretty much all have a Starbucks so you can kill two things with one stone. Downside: They do not offer a self cashier station. I only needed a belt and on a Saturday the lines were long with people buying tons of stuff. read more

I'm giving this a one star for customer service. It's terrible. Absolutely terrible. I raised a concern about a drive up order that was never complete Ted. It showed it was but they never brought it out. So I went inside to get it. Some girl had the biggest attitude when I asked about it. She told me I could cancel it and go get the items and receive a refund. I didn't mind. She also told me to come back to guest services and she would check me out. I did just that. When it was time to check out some big madea built lady got so upset that I brought my items to guest services saying they never check out there even though the other girl told me to go there. It's a mess. Big mess. Manager was alerted and was super nonchalant about it. Go to the one in cedar hill! They have great customer service and they are friendly. read more

One star is the lowest standard yelp allows you to grant. If I had my way it would be granted negative Stars. There is social injustice, all over this world, a manager under the impression and profiling you as character who would commit larceny "like really in target" is not cool mr.man! I checked out at the pharmacy counter and was exiting the store while walking quickly.... I hear the manager call for security of course he used to cover word, next thing I know I'm followed as I continue to walk to the front exit doors.... because of the personal item that I was purchasing I checked out at the pharmacy and did not want to check out at the front lanes. I assume the store manager thought I might have been stealing since he did not see me make the puchase at the front lanes, and yes walking quickly because I was in the rush to get to a baby shower at the chillis right across the way. Being that I work for Target and with security I know he was inappropriate handling the Situation. Number One - I did not have a purse I simply walked in with my Target card in my pocket, so you did not assess me correctly, Number 2- I heard you loud and clear call for security with the code word though others may not know as a customer but I do being that I worked in that department before. Number 3- your security guy wasn't undercover smh " dude atleast turn the walkie down". My parents taught me proper etiquette, mannerisms, professionalism as a way in life.... yes a Stern mother and military father, who taught us at an early age the does and don't in a store especially because of ethnicity..."im just being real"... it shouldn't be that way in life but hey it is..... I really wanted to go left and show that other side to myself really mommy and daddy also didn't raise no punk fool..... but I blew the situation off because as we exit the doors he noticed the buzzer did not go off and I had made my purchase. I noticed a Snappy snare from the same manager as I shopped on other occasions ...Mr.manager man really should be worried about the productivity in his store.... they are very so much out of compliance being that carts and merchandise are not properly organized take note off the pics... if I had been someone from headquarters it would definitely be a red visit safety issue alone, not to mention not one person on the floor said hi can I help you find something. I also heard call buttons going past range.... As I do check out at the front lines the cashiers are standing around having personal life conversations and some of them utilizing profanity.....hhhhhhmmmmm maybe you should be focusing more on store compliance mr. manager man...... I do plan to have a follow up with the manager in person and maybe discussing this with headquarters. read more

I just spent $60 for our trip back to Houston(which we do not know what to expect due to the recent hurricane) and we went to ask for three small cups so we have drink the water on our way back. The young lady did not no how to use the register to charge us for a cup, but she did not want to give us one and the other lady just looked at us stupid as if we were asking for something unreasonable. Target has poor customer service and we were even willing to pay for the cup but she stated she did not know how to ring it up. Target can't even donate .50 cents worth of cups to folks who just spent a considerable amount. Not to mention we just Just sad...especially after making a large purchase. Where's the common sense? Where's the human element? Our family shops for clothes, food, etc at Target on a bi-weekly basis. This experience encouraged us to save our money or spend elsewhere for a while. read more

I went by the Target yesterday to purchase and item for a Christmas present and there was one item (large box) on the shelf. I went to customer service with the item to see if they had more inventory on the item because that box had been cut open and badly retaped. The young lady checked their system and said they had 6 more in stock and I asked if they could see if the item was in the stockroom because there were no more on the shelf (only 1 space was alloted for the item). Without hesitation she informed me that none were in the warehouse and said the registers just did not update the inventory when it was sold so their inventory # has to be wrong. I asked again if they could send someone to check in the back and she became visibly annoyed and stated that they were out of the item and the one I had in my basket was all they had. That's very very poor customer service and I refuse to shop anywhere that is that rude to the customer. read more
