I love this area, they have a fountain with plenty of benches to sit. Due to COVID there are restrictions related to physical distancing and there are limited store hours.They have numerous stores to shop and places to eat (Rudy's, Pluckers and Torchys Tacos are great choices if you love Tex-Mex or American food). There are boba tea places nearby if you love boba and there's a delicious Smallcakes cupcake shop to satisfy any sweet tooth. They have a lot of flavors to choose from, I recommend red velvet, chocolate and strawberry. There's also a diner near by that has delicious pancakes and chai tea. All in all, Arlington Highlands is a beautiful plaza with greenery. Arlington Highlands is next to the Parks Mall as well. read more

Ah, the Arlington Highlands. Where suddenly, a small part of Arlington feels totally modern and fancy. And I'm not trying to imply that the rest of Arlington is gross; I actually love Arlington BECAUSE it's old and diverse and full of interesting non-chains. But the Highlands is a newer, cleaner, and fuller shopping center, and I find myself here relatively often. You know I can't stay away from World Market. I just can't! In addition to the glorious World Market, the Highlands has a serious array of stores, restaurants, bars, and offices. I don't know how they fit allllllll of these places into one shopping center. I mean, I know it's huge, but still. Most of these places are chains, but good chains that are worth visiting again and again. Bath & Body Works, White House Black Market, BJs, Penzeys Spices, PF Changs, Gloria's, Coldwater Creek, Bar Louie, Ann Taylor... I mean, the list goes on forever, just check out the Highland's website, I can't list them all here! There are a few non-chain spots hidden here as well, and that's what I really love. Like Bella Vita Gourmet Olive Oil & Balsamics (this is the cutest little shop, and I looooove olive oils and vinegars. They do tastings!), India Grill (amazing), and IMPROV Comedy Club (haven't been here yet, but plan on going). It's nice to have a few one-of-a-kind spots mixed into this gigantic shopping center of successful chains. Parking here isn't fantastic, but I've never had too big of an issue. Of course, I avoid shopping on weekends! Around Christmas time it's absolutely NUTS, but I'd still rather brave the parking lots and walks than brave the mall. Duh! Plus, the grounds here are really beautiful. Plush grass, benches, clean sidewalks, great lighting, and beautiful Christmas decorations come the holiday season. :) read more

Horrible staff. I had a mask on and they told me I had to wear a surgical mask. This is ridiculous!! Texas isn't even under a mask mandate anymore! I will never shop at Torrid again. They have lost a customer & I will tell all my friends & family not to shop here either. Their clothes are overpriced, poor quality (they always start to fall apart after a few wears) and they never have a good selection of leggings anymore. This place has everything! It's a shoppers dream! They have Ulta, Starbucks , bed bath and beyond , Movies and so many restaurants... BJ's , pluckers, torchys and more! It's perfect for a girls shopping day or a fun dinner date with the hubby. I love how clean this area is , always so festive and nice. This is a tiny upgrade from Uptown Village in Cedarhill. I enjoy the Restaurants and shopping stores and even a few of the entertainment with Dave and Busters and Studio Movie Grill. It had been a few locations that I miss that has come and gone such as Splitville and Bordeaux Seafood. Overall it is a nice area to come ND get a little shopping in and get a bite to eat and a nice stiff drink. Then turn around and catch movie if that your desire for the day. I came here a lot when I had to bring my daughter to work but I did enjoy the shopping center and a place to go when I don't want to head to uptown or deep ellum. read more

This strip-or community-or--plethora-- of stores and restaurants never ceases to amaze me. If ever I'm googleing a store or restaurant, often times it ends up here. I've been going to Studio Movie Grill for a little bit, and Gloria's too, and just a few weeks ago I realized Potbelly's is in this plaza too. There's so much variety and there are a few entertainment choices here too. Dave and Buster's, Gloria's salsa club, a comedy club, etc. I actually stumbled upon the Quality Inn there today when looking for a geocache. A few notable businesses include World Market, The Container Store, Kirkland's, McAlister's, Joann Fabrics, Torrid, Lane Bryant, White House Black Market, Charming Charlie, Chuy's, Francesca's Collections, Genghis Grill, and many, many more. The grounds are so pretty. There are benches and a few fountains, and everything is clean and well kept. Evenings here are fun, with lots of people bustling around to the different restaurants. This is a fun place to hang out, especially if you live in the area and don't want to travel far to go out to eat or have a good time. read more

Thank goodness for this location. We wanted drinks before the BAMA WI game and everything was packed by Jerry's World. Uber driver recommend heading in this direction. We obliged and drove here, 10-15 minutes and located BJ's Brewhouse which solved our problems. Perfect place and many beer choices as well as drink choices everyone enjoyed. This is the place to go before a game. If you want to park and the Uber then this is the way to go. Even in traffic you can get to the game in time. read more

Love the ambiance of this place! You can literally walk around this entire shopping center in peace :] They have a few of my favorite stores like Francesca's, James Avery, Ulta, Studio Movie Grill, Pluckers, BJ's, World Market, McAlisters, ETC! so much more I've yet to try out here. As far as I've experienced, the staff all around is very friendly. It's a great place to come with your family or friends to just walk around and eye shop. Highly recommend that you visit. It's been 5 years since Arlington Highlands opened for business and it has been striving ever since. It's the perfect mix of dining, entertainment, shopping and leisure. They layout isn't perfect, but it's easy enough getting from one end of the shopping center to the other. I used to live pretty close to this place and found myself coming her a couple of times a week. The atmosphere is amazing on a nice day. Maybe not so much when I'm drowning in my own sweat in the Texas heat. The Highlands is perfect during spring and autumn, but not so much in the summer. I only wish they would have taken the heat into consideration and created some shade with trees. That honestly is my only gripe about this place. Otherwise, it's a great shopping center. read more

Love this place! They have such a wide variety of stores and restaurants that I'm sure it could accommodate anyone. Favorite places are the little boutiques that have one of a kind clothes and accessories as well as Studio Movie Grill! Parking sucks on holidays and weekends but it's not a major factor to not visit this place! Car pool or head out 5 minutes early if you must. If you know where you're headed, drive straight to the place instead of going through the entire Highlands area- there's probably 20-30 stop signs! What I do like about the Highlands is that there are many shops and restaurants in a central location. I had never been here before so when I was in the area today I thought I would swing by and have a look at what all the hype is about. As soon as I pulled in the congestion of cars and NO places to park started. I personally don't understand why construction companies and cities team together to put these shopping centers OUTSIDE. Yes texas has some nice weather, but most of the time it's either windy, raining, or do darn HOT to walk around outside. I drove around the whole entire strip center and never even got out of my car. So I went to Houlihans( which I've been doing about once every two weeks on average for last two years ). I ordered a martini flight & tomatoe basil soup. Second bite, yes bite, because there are fried cheese balls in the soup, I bite into something hard & I take it out of my mouth & it's a white broken piece of what looks like a twisty ( like the kind at the end of a loaf of bread) . I call over my server/bartender and quietly show him the twisty. To his credit no questions asked he says I'll get the manager, David. Now this is where all my previous good experiences diminish. He comes over picks up the piece and proceeds to tell me he surprised he thought the piece would be clear like the ones on the bag the cheese comes out of it. Really! Did you just insinuate it didn't come from your kitchen , are you serious?! He proceeds to offer me another , brings it & just walks away. Later my , better than Manager, server, Tanner brings me my bill , yup the Manager still charged me for the soup , asked was everything ok . No everything is not ok but at least he asked. Here's the thing, it's not like I went in and ordered all sorts of stuff , ate it, & then said hey I found plastic. I also didn't make a scene, tables next to me had no idea, so why the 'oh well' treatment. I guess I just wasn't spending enough to be a revelant customer ( I'm going to hope that although not a valid excuse, was the reason ) . Lastly, I still like their drinks & their food ( minus plastic) I just really didn't appreciate the treatment. read more

It's a great atmospheric shopping center with a lot of places to enjoy yourself with friends or family. It includes Starbucks, potbelly, Gloria's etc. It also has a water fountain and areas to walk around.
