I live in a rural area of east Texas so when I come to Dallas I try and get in my much needed shopping for clothes and make up. Stop at Dillard's, looked at the new summer sandal selection. I got the heck out of there, so many cute sandals. I knew I would buy 3 pair so I walked away. Then went over to the Mac counter and spent a but load on make up. Ugh shoulda stuck to sandals. I got a lesson on doing my eyebrows. They are so thin that they help me fill them in. After Dillard's I went down to Barnes and Nobles, just a quick look didn't buy anything. Next went to Old Navy. Really great summer dresses and shirts. The thin linen style blouses. Walked out with enough to get me through a week. Again, shopping for more than I needed. Store was busy, had to wait along time to pay once I did they charged me twice. Let's see, they said should fall off in a day or two. Now I still will give the cashier a 5 out 5 because while I was being double charged she smiled the hole time and was shocked to see I was charged twice. Denial worked in her favor! Next walked over to Ulta, as if Mac was not enough I needed to add more things to my collection of make up that I seriously didn't need. Well by now I realized I had spent $400 too much when my original idea was to pick up one thing for $20. Omg! I just realized I spent too much. Overall love the stores, there were a lot more I could have visited.

This place is truly a hidden treasure. There are shops, restaurants, hair studios, paint-n-sip studios, etc. inside. Something there for everyone. And I love that the entire establishment was immaculate; even the restrooms. We tried the street tacos from Big Tex Tamales for lunch and got cookies and dessert bars from Delightful Sweets after. DELISH!!!!!!! Can't wait to come back and try some other restaurants. According to the other patrons, there is a Thai restaurant inside that is amazing. And there is also a place that sells oxtails on the weekend that is also phenomenal. There is even a vegan restaurant will beautiful looking meals. Can't wait to come back for more. Come out and shop local.

I grew up in the 80's so I've always enjoyed mall shopping. And there is garage parking in addition to open lot parking. I'm a fan and very hopeful that this mall continues to stay busy and prosperous. And depending on which direction you're coming from it's super easy to get to from the freeway.
