Haha, so anyway that's how I went way outta my way and ended up with a great walking spot for my pup and me. It's nicely paved and has lots of different ways you can go. I love all the trees and can't wait to see it in Soring! I love how quiet it is and it would make a great running course too! No traffic, exhaust, and it wasn't crowded at all. I love the tranquility and beauty of being in nature. Our new puppy needs lots of walking and this truly is a fantastic place for a walk, a run, time with friends or even solo for some good reflection. Definitely not to be missed if you're in the area!

The big tree slide got my son and his friends attention (he is 6 for reference), lots of green areas to run and a basic playground as well - slides, climbing-- no swings. The big con I saw here was not the best signage for restrooms, which is crucial at kids playground and you hear "I gotta go potty!" There was kind sign but it wasn't super helpful - the location is just to the left of the stage behind a large bush/green area. I had to ask someone nearby the area and finally found it in time. This is a playground we will be adding to our rotation - just sorry we waited so long to come! (This was a weekday before dinner time, FYI. Can't speak to weekends.)

This is a small cute little park, which consists of a wooden jungle gym with two slides and some trains for children to climb on. So in all honesty, there is not much here, but this is a great area to just watch your children play and afterwards play on the well maintained green lawn (kick a ball, frisbee, fly a kite...) Unlike most parks, this park is secured with multiple cameras as it is right next door to the city hall, so make sure you follow the rules, as people should anyhow. No alcohol or tobacco is allowed (of course and for good reasons). Pets are allowed on the grass, but not here on the playground, just make sure they are leashed. This playground is for kid's ages 2 to 10 years. Due to this park being so small and being so limited, my rating is just three stars, however it would be much higher otherwise. I come there with my dog and disabled husband to walk in peace, it's good therapy for my husband who has dementia but this was uncalled for! If they want to really obsess over something, how about all the poop on the walkway and the used condoms I have to constantly step over!

Granted, it was a weekday around 3 in the afternoon there weren't many people there. When I got arrived there was only one person in the mixed dog run with her dog. When I left about a half hour later, three other people showed up but everyone was in a separate dog run. The people I met were all very nice and I was told that the park rarely has anyone in the dog park area. I found that really odd because it seems like a nice park with a lot of room for your dog to get all of their energy released.

It can be a bit confusing to navigate towards the basketball/volleyball court area, as there's a large library (I think?) you pass first to get through. The GPS will correctly lead you to the appropriate area. There is ample parking and restrooms on site at the park near the courts. Everyone was respectful of others sharing the courts, so we all had a great time. Definitely recommend.

The date…read moreand I were amazed and shocked at the size, number of people, and layout of this place when we visited this past Tuesday evening. Even the kid's playground area had fancy equipment I never thought would be in a park. This place is definitely a hangout area for high schoolers. The skating/in-line skating pits, volleyball pit, and basketball courts were filled as if there were tournaments occurring. This area is in a different part of the park and away from the kid's playground. There is another area (football field) that we didn't get to visit, but I can imagine it to be quite large. There was also a large building that seemed like a library filled with children's books, but I'm not too positive what this could be. I believe there are also walking trails and picnic areas as well. Sadly, I don't think there are tennis courts here. :( This park is definitely great for both the young and old. The best part is that this place is very clean and well lit! This definitely warrants more future visits.
