Haha, so anyway that's how I went way outta my way and ended up with a great walking spot for my pup and me. It's nicely paved and has lots of different ways you can go. I love all the trees and can't wait to see it in Soring! I love how quiet it is and it would make a great running course too! No traffic, exhaust, and it wasn't crowded at all. I love the tranquility and beauty of being in nature. Our new puppy needs lots of walking and this truly is a fantastic place for a walk, a run, time with friends or even solo for some good reflection. Definitely not to be missed if you're in the area!

But what a delightful surprise it turned out to be! What I thought would be a simple morning walk quickly became a full experience of art, community, and nature. The park is beautifully designed, offering something for every type of visitor. Wide walking and hiking paths weave through the grounds, inviting you to slow down and enjoy the scenery. Families can enjoy the spacious playground, athletes can hit the sand for a game of beach volleyball, and history buffs will appreciate the thoughtful and moving Army Memorial - Greater good by Michael Szabo. It's the kind of space that effortlessly blends recreation with reflection. While strolling, I had a great chat with one of the friendly groundskeepers who told me about the Saturday farmers market, as well as seasonal concerts and food trucks that make the park come alive with energy, music, and flavors. It's clearly more than just a park--it's a gathering place where the community comes together. As an art lover, the sculpture garden was the highlight of my visit. The pieces are striking, and I found myself particularly drawn to Esther and Miles, two incredible works by Olu Amoda of Smyrna, GA. The way he transforms recycled metal into such expressive, beautiful forms is nothing short of inspiring. Town Center Park is more than a patch of green space--it's an experience. A year later, I got to bring my baby back to that exact spot where I had my maternity shoot, which made it even more special. They also have an awesome playground for toddlers and up, with a super cute farm theme, and everything is kept in impeccable condition. It's a beautiful, spacious park, and they have a large dog park too. One thing to note: the park has two separate sides, so plan accordingly when you visit.

Even the restrooms are the best that I've seen in local parks. The location is very conveniently located with a Duluth entrance and Suwanee entrance. Plenty of parking. Even a public garden. Busiest times are after 11am on weekdays and after 10am on weekends. The best entrance is on the Duluth side off of Old Norcross Road. Great for taking a morning walk and then visiting the local cafes afterwards.
