Entrance for the paved path

1/6/2021 Collins Hill Park has two entrances and depending on the entrance that enter you will find two distinctively different walking trials. On one side you have Collins Hill Park Aquatic Center where you will find a 1.0 mile paved trail. The trail is an easy walk through the woods with a creek flowing along the path and a small picnic area. Side note: There is also a separate walking path the runs along the main road, but sticking to the 1.0 mile paved trail is a more peaceful experience. Across the street is the actually park.... Pro: you will find lots of open area for kids to play or for your dogs to run. The park has a basketball court, volleyball net, playground, bathrooms, baseball fields and batting cages, a nice lake and more. Con: finding the trial can be confusing. First thing you will see to your right is a tiny bridge with a gravel trail. Don't be fooled. This area is not the walking trail, it's more like a cute observation area for the lakes run off. If you drive all the way to the back of the park, near the batting cages, you will find a 1.5 mile un-paved trail. For me the downside was the lack of clear signage pointing to the entrance/beginning of the trail. I entered using the path behind the batting cages. I wouldn't have known the path was even there but for seeing other people walking in that direction. Once you get pass the batting area the trial becomes clearer until you get to an open field where you will see and certainly hear the hum of major powerlines above you. If you choose to walk across this field the path continues deeper into the woods. At the time I had no idea where it ended so I decided to turn back around. I later read some of the reviews posted by others and learned that the trail leads you back out into the parking lot. Overall, I think this park offers something for everyone and is a good park to either get a workout in or just enjoy some leisure time.

Busy park, few trails, very boring park. But it is a family park. Also has alot of police presence. Just a clean average park.

The stadium gets 5 stars for comfort, ticket availability, and sight lines. This is a great place…read moreto watch a game. Chopper is the mascot who will keep the kiddies entertained. They have all the zany between inning gags as well. Sometimes there is a dog who fetches bats. A Stripers game is a good time. Concessions? Steeeeerike three. Most decent food items (bratwurst, Italian sausage, bacon jam footlong, fried Oreos, etc.) are mostly unavailable or no longer offered. On a typical game, most stands will be closed with that insipid "Gone Fishin' " sign out front. They only sell basic, rotgut, boring food most games. Cheap quality hot dogs that taste like Bar-S, frozen burger patties, etc. are what you will find. "Boneless" Chicken wings (actually nuggets) had okay sauce but were like the frozen ones from the store. Stick to chips, peanuts, Cracker Jack, King of Pops (rare), Dippin' Dots, and anything else that can't be cooked. The good news is there are a ton of restaurants nearby. Even the Costco food court is not too far away. Grab a $1.50 high quality, all beef dog and soda before the game. Eat before you go and maybe grab a snack at the park. Gwinnett is the White Sox and Rockies of concessions.

A nice night at the field!…read more Parking was super easy & FREE! Paid parktis available, but the lot is not THAT BIG YOU. Easy access! Nice lot staff to guide & help before the game. As you can imagine food & beverage are not allowed from outside the park. Staff check bags upon entry. Food & beverage are NOT cheap (why I gave 4 stars), but they have a lot to offer for a smaller park. We ate before we went so stuck with beverages & Dippin' Dots only. Oh, my son got fried pickles & they were REALLY good!! They have a few activities for children; bounce house & the back lawn to run around. PLEASE be careful on the lawn- one child was hit in the face with a ball hit hot off of a bat when we were there. There is no net to stop them from getting out there. My husband saw him in a wheelchair going to medical. Yikes, I hope he's going to be OK!!! A fun night, good music & a win for the Stipers. Tickets are reasonable, depending on where you sit & the park is pretty much open to do as you please while there. Be respectful, always! Come check'em out with the family. Hope to see you there!

This place is pretty big and not too far from the mall with a great view. A lot of parking spaces usually where there is an event here they have the concession stand up and running and small business selling items as well, depending on what the event consist of. Again, this particular event brought me here because of the jobs there so there were pros and cons lots of volunteers and people to help assist, but if you ask me, it could've been a lot a lot a lot more more organized it lacked badly . I'm not sure if it was not enough volunteers or enough directions that went around the job fair started at 9 AM. It was over at 3 PM. I arrived at around noon made it in pretty quickly and I was instructed where to go. After that, you were pretty much left to fish for yourself no real signs on what was being 100% offered or if you should join the line no information about how many people they were looking to hire per each position or what kind of background would be needed we were just told pretty much. It's a job fair and had to mingle for ourselves.

Two of my favorites are WINTER JAM 2024 & Hockey games with my husband. This stadium has excellent appeal and is easy to get to. Parking is abundant both outdoor and garages. Once inside you are able to find your seating with the assistance of ushers and other staff. They even have handicap valets to get you to the proper seating. I can say I have had seats midway in the decks all the way to floor seats center. The massive screens allowed me to never miss a shot or singer. This arena offers season tickets for the hockey fan. Or VIP meet & greets for the music lovers in us all.
