Such a beautiful park. There's a river next to it, an amphitheater, a restaurant and food truck, and of course there's a playground for the kiddies. There's also a nice long walking trail. I don't come here often because I live further away. If I'm ever in the area with the kids, I definitely make time and stop by. read more

I love this park. It is not overly crowded. It has a nature trail path that anyone can walk with their dogs. There also isnt a lot of dogs on these trails. Multiple restaurants outside the area in walking distance of the park. So much space and play area to throw a kid party. read more

I do enjoy the Lilburn City Park as it is close to where I live now and the thing I really like the most is that they just redid the playground. If you have kids, this is a big plus. They have a nice field in the center of the park for playing sports with your kids, sometimes you will see people playing soccer or Frisbee. Throughout the year they do have festivals and different events here at the park and I must say it is nice that they have the Agavero Cantina Parkside (Mexican restaurant) that has been now for two years. They just updated their patio. Overall this is a nice park. They do not have any tennis courts as they were taken out to increase parking spots, but they do have a nice multipurpose trail for those who like to bike. In total, the trail is about 10K if you do an entire loop on both sides. Overall, if you live nearby, this is a great park. We had a great time at the lilburn city park. I hosted a party for my daughter and it was a hit. We were able to get there a little early and grab some tables. We wiped them down and decorated them with mermaid decor. We ate pizza and through away all our trash. The kids enjoyed playtime on the playground and then headed to the splash pad. Everything was very clean, including the bathrooms which were some of the cleanest park bathrooms I've ever seen. Just a note the splash pad does have a list of rules, no food or drink in the splash pad area and no water toys. But if you're looking for an easy party or meet up for kids, I highly recommend this park. read more

This park has been completely renovated and improved thanks to the city and local input from residents. The kids play area is by far the absolute best in the Gwinnett area in my opinion. I have never seen such great play equipment, our grandkids beg us to go here! Lots of open green area, great events in the past, well maintained and always bustling with families regardless of the weather. Love this park! read more

This is one of my neighborhood parks. Probably the one we visit the most, especially on Food Truck Tuesdays which are once a month May - October. They have nice walking trails; paved and shaded with benches and police call boxes spaced out. But 2 of the 3 trails end right at a congested street, Killian Hill. So you have to turn around and go back the way you came. And after it rains you can often have issues with dirt/sand on the trail. It shares a parking lot with a police station so safety is not really a concern. It's adjacent to a community garden and railroad tracks. I think they both add to the overall appeal. They have festivals and concerts throughout the year and fireworks on the 4th of July. There's also a playground, tennis courts and a pavilion with BBQ grills. And often times they have bike rentals. All in all still my first choice for a stroll. read more

Located in Downtown Lilburn this a great park if your looking for somewhere nice to spend the day. It has a nice playground for the kids, a huge lawn for outdoor concerts, paved trails and best of all Agavero Cantina Parkside. Trail wise you have a few options. You can follow the Greenway either to Spur Trail or Greenway Trail. Both are short and very easy walks (both dead-end to a main road). If your looking for a longer route, cross the street and take the Greenway into Lions Club park. read more

I've been going to Lilburn Park for over a decade now just never wrote about it. They host a lot of events like Paw Fest and Lilburn Daze. I've come here for non event days as well to get my exercise on by walking or volleyball with friends. It's located next to the Lilburn police station off Main Street where local markets are. One time when I came for Lilburn Daze, I parked farther down the street at the church and walked to the park for the festival activities. The walking trail is mostly gravel until you get to the kids playground area. There are cement that way. A few tennis courts too. While walking, you'll notice a small book area where people donate books for others to pick up and recycle by donating books you have at home you no longer want or want to share with others. There's also a stage area where many local talented musicians embrace their vocals or instrumental skills. There is a big grassy area that the walking trails surrounds for events for vendors when there are events and festivals. If you come on a regular day, you can practice soccer, grass volleyball, or play dodge ball. On days where there is no event, you can walk across the street to the Lilburn Main Street Market and get King of Pops! They have mainly flavors there, especially my two favorites - Thai Tea and Chocolate Sea Salt. Oh yeah, Lilburn Park is pet friendly too :) read more

This is my favorite park in Gwinnett area! It's in a great area with a Mexican food truck/ restaurant that is permanently at the park. (It's called agavero cantina) It's great for a park/ food date. There is a wonderful park for kids to play in. It is well kept and is tons of fun for kids. There is also a big pavilion and lots of tables around the park and some grills. The trails are amazing! There is a lot of shade in the trails which is a plus for me and it's any easy walk. One trail has a slight hill but it's still easy. This is also a great area for Pokémon Go players. There is A LOT of gyms and pokestops! This is literally my favorite place to catch Pokémon. I see a lot of people playing POGO in this area and the Mexican restaurant even welcomes Pokémon go players! Overall this is a great park, everyone I have taken to the park loves it! read more

A cute and cozy little park and historic ish area. There was a fairly large equipment play area for the kids. The mini square area was adorable with a few shops and restaurants. I was here for the Small Town, Big World International Festival. The typical promotional and food booths were there. There was also a play area with inflatables for the little kiddies. The complimentary henna by the girl's school was awesome! The musical and talent entertainment was GREAT. During the 45 minutes my bro and I were there, we saw about 5 different performances. Parking wasn't too stellar for a big ish event like this. Granted there were alternative gravel lots nearby, but even those lots were not fun to maneuver. But hey, this event was freeeee so no complaints here. ^_^ I heard that this was Lilburn's first year doing this. I am looking forward to next year's festival! read more

We started our walk along the Camp Creek Greenway trail here. It was a beautiful day and downtown Lilburn is a cute spot for the fall weather. On a normal day, parking is easy and not too stressful. Can't imagine if there was a large event here, though. I've been here before to walk the track at night after a full meal. But this was my first time taking the Camp Creek Greenway trail. There was a trailer in front of the entrance renting out bikes, although the greenway seems like a pretty uninteresting bike ride. Explains the cheaper rates. Lilburn City Park is small but quaint, perfect for downtown Lilburn and a chill and less crowded afternoon stroll. read more

I decided to get some excercise in today with my son so I grabbed his ATV Power Wheel and swung by here after school. This park has some very nice trails, tennis court, playground, restroom, etc. It is adjacent to a police department so I felt extremely safe and decided to run with my music in loud (I've watched enough Lifetime movies to know better). All in all it is a very nice park with your basic needs. So why a missing star? Two reasons. One, the playground was filthy! It hasn't rain in over a week so I'm not talking rain-related dirt, it was seriously neglected resulting in caked on dirt! Two the paths abruptly ends so for instance when running with my son I was terrified to let him get more than 4 feet ahead of me because the path ends to an extremely busy street! Just word of advice, be careful if you have your little ones running with you! Other than that, it's a nice park with ample parking! read more

I love this park, is always clean, organized, very secure with police station in front. Came here with my whole family for 4th July and we had a blast, all those shuttles helps A LOT!! Came here with my daughter for their lilburn daze festival and was awesome. It was drizzling but that didn't stop us from looking at crafts and playing over at the Home Depot area and building a bird house. We got to get our face painted and ride the train. Later they brought ponies. It's really a great place to just hang out and enjoy. They also had music and food. read more

This is a great park. On one side there is a children's playground, tennis courts and an open field where people play soccer. There is also a walking trail that splits and leads to either Indian trail road or Arcado Road. There's an even longer trail that you can reach by crossing Main Street directly in front of the park's parking lot. This trail goes all the way to Rockbridge Road. If you continue underneath the underpass, the trail winds past ball fields near Lawrenceville Highway. There are always a few people on the trail so I've always felt safe walking alone. It's an awesome way to enjoy nature while getting in some cardio. read more

I'm surprised this isn't a more raved about park on Yelp! I love coming here. I feel very safe walking and running on the trails. The one paved trail goes pretty far, far enough that I haven't yet walked to the end of it yet. Plenty of space! And very beautiful! Always lots of other people walking with you.
