Benches near the playground

We had a great time at the lilburn city park. I hosted a party for my daughter and it was a hit. We were able to get there a little early and grab some tables. We wiped them down and decorated them with mermaid decor. We ate pizza and through away all our trash. The kids enjoyed playtime on the playground and then headed to the splash pad. Everything was very clean, including the bathrooms which were some of the cleanest park bathrooms I've ever seen. Just a note the splash pad does have a list of rules, no food or drink in the splash pad area and no water toys. But if you're looking for an easy party or meet up for kids, I highly recommend this park.

This is one of my neighborhood parks. Probably the one we visit the most, especially on Food Truck Tuesdays which are once a month May - October. They have nice walking trails; paved and shaded with benches and police call boxes spaced out. But 2 of the 3 trails end right at a congested street, Killian Hill. So you have to turn around and go back the way you came. And after it rains you can often have issues with dirt/sand on the trail. It shares a parking lot with a police station so safety is not really a concern. It's adjacent to a community garden and railroad tracks. I think they both add to the overall appeal. They have festivals and concerts throughout the year and fireworks on the 4th of July. There's also a playground, tennis courts and a pavilion with BBQ grills. And often times they have bike rentals. All in all still my first choice for a stroll.

Located in Downtown Lilburn this a great park if your looking for somewhere nice to spend the day. It has a nice playground for the kids, a huge lawn for outdoor concerts, paved trails and best of all Agavero Cantina Parkside. Trail wise you have a few options. You can follow the Greenway either to Spur Trail or Greenway Trail. Both are short and very easy walks (both dead-end to a main road). If your looking for a longer route, cross the street and take the Greenway into Lions Club park.

Lilburn City Park is a 10-acre gem in the middle of the city, featuring a playground, a paved jogging trail, tennis courts, public restroom, and a pavilion. Also, City Park is the trail head for the 4+ mile Camp Creek Greenway Trail. Family-friendly Group-friendly Pet-friendly Free admission Suitable for all ages Handicapped Accessible Open year round I've been going to Lilburn City Park for the last few months, and I couldn't be happier. The park is extremely clean, and safe. The whole community is very nice, and it is well maintained all over. I would recommend coming here if you live in the area. Bonus: Lilburn City Park has a ton of Pokestops for you, and they're all in the same location.

Pokémon hub. So many people here.

This is my favorite park in Gwinnett area! It's in a great area with a Mexican food truck/ restaurant that is permanently at the park. (It's called agavero cantina) It's great for a park/ food date. There is a wonderful park for kids to play in. It is well kept and is tons of fun for kids. There is also a big pavilion and lots of tables around the park and some grills. The trails are amazing! There is a lot of shade in the trails which is a plus for me and it's any easy walk. One trail has a slight hill but it's still easy. This is also a great area for Pokémon Go players. There is A LOT of gyms and pokestops! This is literally my favorite place to catch Pokémon. I see a lot of people playing POGO in this area and the Mexican restaurant even welcomes Pokémon go players! Overall this is a great park, everyone I have taken to the park loves it!

We loved the food on site and playground appropriate for toddlers! Plus no dirt or mulch and shaded areas!

The kids play area is by far the absolute best in the Gwinnett area in my opinion.

Totally cliché, but I'm going to daringly say that Henderson Park has something for everyone. When…read moreI was there, I observed a kids soccer game, picnickers, hikers, dogs being walked by their owners, Girl Scouts having a meeting, fisherpeople, photoshoots, children playing, birthday parties, and people just chilling by the lake. Seriously, that's nearly everyone who wants to be outside! Regarding hiking, the trails are not marked very clearly. The map doesn't show all the turnoffs, and it gets confusing. Maybe it's this way to give you a sense of adventure? At least it's tough to get really lost since you're often within sight of houses or the road. Beautiful woods! As for restrooms, there was a porta potty in the parking lot adjacent to the playground by Lake Erin, and the map indicates that there are other restrooms in Henderson Park too. Speaking of maps, I might recommend a quick peek at one before you go since the park can be accessed from different roads (Henderson and Livsey). Didn't get to explore the other side of the park with the native plant and wildlife walk this trip but next time!

When the shelter in place order began, I looked for places to hike that were not too far from home…read more I came across Henderson Park and decided to give it a try. This is a great neighborhood park. If I lived nearby, I'd take a walk here every chance I could. In addition to the trails, there are athletic fields, a kids play area and a great wide deck where people can look out at the lake or eat a nice lunch. There is a lot of parking and the park itself is well-maintained. I was able to find a map of the park trails online, and it was helpful but trail maps aren't perfect. I tried to walk as many of the trails as I could, but I was turned around a lot. We'd also had a lot of rain prior to my visit so a lower trail path by the lake was flooded. There is a small waterfall in the park, and I think I saw it but I'm not sure. There were a lot of rock formations in the creeks/streams, and none were labeled. I went to Henderson Park with a friend who needed to use the bathroom. The main bathrooms are located on the west end of the park by the soccer fields. On the east end of the park, there are port-a-potties. There are no bathrooms near the kids park which was a surprise and why I mention where the bathrooms are located. Overall, I'm glad that I gave Henderson Park a visit. The people who live nearby are lucky to have it.
