Ok so every-time I've ordered from here I take it to go it's always ready quick. They do have a seating area not a very big though. The staff has been great with us we always have someone different also. The burgers are delicious. I order The ABC my dad gets the Ortega. The burgers are well cooked and very flavorful. Called the restaurant because I was craving a hotdog. They do have regular hotdogs, but I asked if they could add chili and cheese. They do have chili and cheese as well. The girl who answered told me, hold on. Took a while to get back on the phone just to tell me, "we can't do that." No explanation as to why. I mean they have the hotdogs, they have cheese, and they have chili, so why couldn't they do that? So I guess they didn't care that they lost an order because "they couldn't do that". I thought that was so stupid! I went to Chevron, got a hotdog and put both chili and cheese on it and paid about $2.95. I got a better deal there, so the hell with Town Burger. Through my 2 years of coming to town burger I had nothing to say but good service. Lately there's been two female workers on their phone, lack of service and when taken my order, a girl with reddish hair looked on dope. Bloodshot eyes. She was also talking very slow due to the dope. When asked to talk to the manager, both females reddish hair and black hair girl both declined and told me to leave while trying to talk to the manager about them two. Sad to say, but this place has gone downhill in my opinion. My burger was pretty good other than the jalapenos used but my nephews western burger was super small. Make sure you at least get a double because then it's not filling. The fries aren't as good now and their strawberry smoothie was one of the worst I've ever had. Watered down with hardly any flavor. We got 2 burger meals with a side of fries and it's was over 40 dollars...so the price definitely doesn't match the product. Service is non existant..we showed up with 0 people eating but every single table had food on it so obviously, they were too lazy to clean the tables. The high Yelp score attracted us to Town Burger on our way to Monterey. The fries were really good. Mom always said "if you don't anything good to say, say nothing". Sorry Mom, but the hamburgers are really thin. I asked for medium rare but to do that it would have been cold and raw. Well done is it. Colossus Burger: good. My dining companion would order again. Conny's Burger: meat doesn't have much taste but the cheese and sauce made it tasty. The bun is super soft, which I like. I ordered the French fries extra crispy but they came out just slightly crisp. They weren't seasoned so they tasted bland. Strawberry smoothie: tastes like a milk shake with light strawberry flavor The guy taking our order was nice. If traveling in this area and need to stop, I might stop by here again but it isn't a place I would make a special trip to. read more

I do not see the five star hype at all. It's a must be a customer to use the bathroom kind of place with a stale stillness that happens when a boom town is forgotten. Where to start, I came here once and the service was not great and the food was whatever (you can make the same at home) but I didn't think I review was worth complaining about the place. HOWEVER, we decided to try it again. The girl who's there has the crappiest customer service ever. You hardly understand her, when you ask her for anything she has a bit of an attitude like she knows what we need before even telling her anything, she explain a burger that did not come out the way she said it would (but again not going to try to change) and when we ask for a bag since we took home all the leftovers she said they don't have any yet they do to go orders. We would have paid for the bag. The food was whatever nothing great, I rather go pay 20 bucks more down the street at rinconcito for real food or even the other burger place. Never again. Would NOT make a pit stop here. We came up here from PISMO beach heading back up to SF and we stopped by bc of the 4.5 stars. We all got the town burger just to play it safe for the rest of the ride back. They got 2/3 of our orders wrong; one with everything on it was the only one they got right, the second one we asked for no tomato,onions or pickles but they gave it to us with everything in it, the third burger with no pickles still had pickles in it. But I give it one star because it wasn't bad we just removed everything ourselves tasted fine. The restroom seemed ok there wasn't any paper towels left and the toilet seat seemed like it needed a good clean... I knew that Greenfield had really good tacos but turns out they have pretty good burgers too. Town Burger is a neat little spot to grab good burgers right off 101. The description in Yelp says "classy". I don't know about that but I do know it is a casual, clean burger joint. They had a Mexican channel on TV which was cool. The burgers are delicious!!! We were driving home from a weekend of camping and wanted a quick lunch pick up. They're conveniently located off the highway, so it was really fast to hop off and back on. I called in the order so there was no waiting. My boyfriend got the western burger which he said was just alright, I got the town burger and onion rings which I thought was delicious!!! My girl friend also got a burger and loved hers. A side of curly fries, and a side of onion rings. Location was very easy to find. Basically right next to the freeway. Order was ready within 15 minutes of arriving. Restaurant waa nice and clean. Bathroom also. Friendly customer service. But OMG!!!! Everything tasted amazing! But the onions rings!! Were out if this world! They were so crispy and delicious and huge.
