Sure enough, my apprehension was met with sheer delight. This is easily one of the best Mexican seafood establishments I've ever been to. The truck is clean, the mariscos are fresh, and the chef is a wonderful guy that makes you feel right at home, even though you're standing outside of a food truck. My girlfriend and family have made it a tradition to eat there almost every Sunday, always starting with oysters to eat while we wait for our order of shrimp and fish ceviche, shrimp cocktails, and campechana. I can't recommend this place enough. Wether you live in nearby, or you're driving down the 101 on a long trip, El Aventurero is worth the stop.

I'd choose these over any oysters I've had in Monterey any day.

I'm pretty sure if I drive through Greenfield on Highway 101 and don't stop here, it would somehow throw the universe off balance. My go-to order everywhere is chile rellenos, so I've had them at a lot of places over the years. I can honestly say these are my favorite chile rellenos anywhere. They come with this amazing white cream sauce that I've never seen anywhere else. You can order them à la carte, but do yourself a favor and get the plate with rice and beans. The rice and beans are ridiculously good and absolutely worth it. This time I got mine to go because we were in a hurry, which is why the photo is a cardboard box sitting on my lap in the car instead of a nice plate on a table like a civilized person. If you're driving Highway 101 and passing through Greenfield, this place is definitely worth the stop.
