I admit that I was looking for a restroom en route to Pismo Beach. The Chevron station across the street had it's restroom locked, so I'd figure to try to restaurant next door. I also took advantage of grabbing a couple of tacos for a snack :) I ordered an octopus (!) and shrimp taco - about $2 each before tax. They came in a paper plate and was super hot - like fresh off the grill. Both tacos were well seasoned and on the spicy side. Octopus cooked tender and shrimp was good too. I should have ordered the fish taco to make it a perfect seafood trio. Would definitely recommend this place for a pit stop along 101S - food is very good at very decent price! read more

I had read good reviews and was hoping for an authentic mexican meal. Food is awful, table, seats, floor and menus are dirty/greasy. The tortillas tasted rancid as if the oil used for cooking was old. Prices on menus do not mean anything; you will be charged more and they charge you extra if you use a credit card. read more

Accidentally found this place, when looking for gas along the 101 going back home. Screw MickeyD's and other fast food joints. If you're on a road trip, just stop and get gas right next door (this place will probably be always cheaper than the other places, it's a Texaco..but there's a Valero right across the street that's the same price) and just grab some food to go or even just eat there. It's cheap and fast. I just grabbed 3 tacos since they were advertising it for 99cents- 1 each for me and my parents and after we ate it, we wish we bought 9 more. This place used to be a very good very friendly restaurant. It has been going down hill from the service to the food. The last time we went there we ordered over the phone. The owner Oscar took the order. I ordered a botana for me and my husband and chicken nuggets and fries for my son. My husband went to pick up the order to find out that they had no more nuggets or fries. My husband told Oscar "You could of called us and let us know, we would have ordered him something else". He rolled his eyes and told him no we don't have fries hamburgers nothing like that. My husband was so upset at the way he treated him. He is the owner he should be more caring of his customers. If you are burned out you should really look into selling or passing on the business. No need to be so nasty to your customers. I will never go there again read more

As far as roadside taquerias go, one word: yum. Huevos rancheros, excellent. Carnitas tacos, muy bueno. The kids loved their quesadilla. All the drinks are bottled. Very authentic, tasty food. Get off the beaten path and go for it. Even the tortilla chips are crisp and tasty. read more

Went there because I wanted tacos Al pastor. I hit up my go to taco truck but they were out of El pastor so I ended up going to this taqueria as it had always grabbed my attention but never got to going there. Place was clean,nice vibe and the lady that took our order was nice and helpful. I got 5 tacos Al pastor and I have to say they were good. The meat was well seasoned and tender. Nice crispy tortilla and not greasy as other places. Will go back to try other things in the menus. read more

Shrimp tacos are really good. Good salsa. service is just fine. These are not the warm and fuzzy folks, but sufficient and friendly. I am regular there.
