    Italian Hero aka Godfather

Very weak Italian Hero. Basically Ham with one slice of pepperoni and one slice of mozzarella. Amateurs sandwich making. Woman at register over charged me and i needed to catch her to get the difference back. Very disappointing.

Is it me or is Long Island the real bagel capital of the world? Town Bagel of Plainview is also right here in Bellmore on Merrick Road. Seeing a familiar name I walked in and just smiled. After leaving a local empty lunch spot in fear walking in here felt like a relief and late breakfast oasis.. Everyone is in here on Sunday morning in a surprisingly quiet sounding though busy place. Everything is quintessential Long Island bagel eatery. Salads, deli, three types of chicken salad, rows of good looking bagels and flagels. For me a small container of whitefish and sliced everything flagel did not disappoint. Love knowing whitefish is fresh and it was. For what it is 100% 5 star Casual Long Island bagel eatery.

This is a tough one. I've been a customer for 16 years. The past few months have lead to this review. I was kicked out. Of a bagel shop. Twice. Place used to close at 5pm, apparently during the pandemic they decided to close at 4pm. Instead of changing hours on their door and online like a traditional business does, they have just taken to sweeping and mopping at about 3:45pm while frowning at the customers who are eating. When school is in session, my daughter and I have been eating here on a weekly basis for the last 5 years. We normally get a corner table and do her homework. Today at 3:55pm I was approached by a Hispanic woman who informed me they were closed and we needed to leave. I pointed to the time and she said, "closed." I asked for and spoke with the manager, informed him of my tenure as a customer and walked out. As I was leaving a woman parked and attempted to walk in - I had to watch - same Hispanic woman scurried over and locked the door in her face. I've never, EVER, seen a retail business turn down a sale unless it were a security issue. This place, wow - just locked the door - I mean, if you own this place, watch today's tape.... Unreal. I give them 2 stars because it wouldn't be fair to the good service and the good food they have provided over the first 15 years, but I'm done. Thanks for the memories. Silver lining is upon explaining why we're not going back, my daughter and I had a whole conversation about valuing the money we spend in the establishments we CHOOSE to visit and how those establishments VALUE their customers. It's not like there's a lack of bagel shops on Long Island.

Egg Sandwhich with Avacado on a sesame bagel. Crumb cake iced coffee. Friendly and quick service.

Extremely disappointed and over priced!!!!! I usually go to the location in Massapequa Park and pay a fair price, $6.50. This location in Bellmore charged me $9.22 for the same order. I get the same exact bagel w/eggs, mushroom and cheese every time. I tried speaking to the a person in charge. Than realizing they went to speak to someone else to discuss about what I ordered. They were so unhelpful and couldn't barely look me in the eye as If I wasn't telling the truth. Very unprofessional and I felt like walking out and not paying but I purchased any way and left. I'm not going back to this location; there are so many other great shops that are reasonable and kind to their customers!!! This specific location is overrated, not worth the headache it gave me this morning!!!

A bagel with little no cream cheese

I ask for a poppy bagel with cream cheese. First off the girl was not friendly at all. The bagel was over priced at $4.25 and it had little to no cream cheese on it at all.

Sadly this place is on my block so it's convenient, I've never had an issue free order- items are usually wrong- like no cheese on bacon egg and cheese. Forget asking for something special- that would be insane. The bagels are good- so if you don't mind a crapshoot you'll be fine. They're also very stingy- this is an $11 sandwich. If you want a real sandwiches to A n S

Always great ! 1 pm on a holiday weekend still pretty crowded but the line moved. Lightly buttered egg bagel hit the spot. Crunchy on the outside... Soft on the inside. I always order lightly buttered at every bagel place because otherwise it's like.... "Having a little bagel with my butter". Yuck This place is consistently good!!

Amazing bagels. I come from queens and this is exactly like a real queens bagel store. Bacon is crispy and bagels are fresh!

Went in on at Wednesday at 4:35pm. Asked for a 1/2 pound of Ham and they told me they have already cleaned the machines. Closings at 5:00pm.

The decor is bright, fun , modern, and staff is welcoming The menu is surprisingly versatile, offering everything from smoothie combos to beer, drinks, and solid food options. It's the kind of place where both kids and adults can find something they love, which is rare and refreshing. One of the standout features is how clean and well-maintained everything is. There's also a separate kids' area with staff supervision, which is a huge plus if you're looking to unwind for a bit while your little ones stay entertained safely. I personally chose to stay and play with my son in the playground area since he's still a bit young, and we had a great time together. It's nice to have that flexibility depending on your child's age and comfort level. Overall, I'd definitely come back. It's a fantastic spot for everyday visits and would be an excellent choice for hosting a kids' party.

The event we attended was a prepaid event but to redeem the food items we have to ask for them. There was a lack of communication and transparency whether there was unlimited coffee or tea or if the ticket only covered for one cup of coffee or tea. We would return for another event because it's a bit of a drive to get there.

I understand that not every place is child-friendly, but this is a pizza place! We are excited to introduce our kids to a variety of cuisines from a young age, and we thought pizza would be a good choice. They aren't chicken fingers and fries kinda kids . The food was decent; I wouldn't go as far as to say it was the best pizza I've ever had. However, the meal was overshadowed by the hostess's attitude. Throughout our visit, she kept glaring at us every time one of the kids made even the slightest noise. It felt incredibly unwelcoming. To make matters worse, they do not provide high chairs. When we mentioned that we'd still like to stay despite that, since our one-year-old can sit in a regular chair, it felt like a battle just to get one. It was clear that the hostess was eager for us to leave. Our meal felt rushed, as if we were being timed on how quickly we could eat. Her continual glares were uncomfortable, especially since we were seated right next to the hostess stand. It's unfortunate how much a bad hostess can negatively impact a dining experience. I genuinely hope the management realizes this and considers better training for their staff. Overall, this experience made it clear to me that I won't be returning. They really need to work on creating a welcoming environment for families. Especially because of the town they are located in.
