My only complaint would be sometimes upstairs neighbors were loud - but I had a downstairs unit so some of that is expected. La Casa truly felt like home! I received an email thanking me for visiting the property, even though I never actually saw the apartment or completed a walkthrough. It's extremely frustrating to receive a message stating that I visited when that simply did not happen. Good luck trying to get someone on the phone or schedule a walkthrough. The scheduling process has been extremely unorganized and disappointing. Based on my experience so far, this has been by far the worst apartment scheduling experience I've encountered.

All of the amenities are maintained very well (pool, gym, computer room with printers you can use freely) and the maintenance requests are addressed in a very timely manner. I know there are tons of gripes about this complex in regards to the availability of the guest parking spots but the leasing agents are very transparent about it from the beginning. If you are an introvert who doesn't care much for having many people over or if you are busy raising a family so you don't care much for worrying about visitors needing to come over then this is the perfect place for you. This complex also offers 2 EV chargers, which was a huge plus for me. What I also loved about Las Palmas was the sense of urgency all of the employees had in regards to any matters that come up that needed to be addressed, It was such a breath of fresh air. This most recent issue at my unit that I placed a request for, actually had another cause to fix other than just the surface problem I determined. I didn't know that until Raymond spent a couple of minutes investigating to find, explain to me, and then begin working on. He was done quickly, fixing the issue even better than expected, and leaving everything clean. Raymond's expertise helps provide a safe feeling that things will get fixed correctly and long-term. I have…read moreone of the smallest one-bedroom units at 710 square feet, yet I pay approximately $200 more than larger one-bedroom units currently advertised here. When my lease ended, management originally attempted to raise my rent by nearly $700 and justified it as "market value." For two years, I reported a drainage pipe that sends a powerful stream of water directly onto my patio whenever it rains, flooding the area close to my door. Management repeatedly dismissed it as "normal rainwater," minimized the problem, closed requests without contacting me, or ignored my concerns entirely. Maintenance also aggressively moved and slammed my washer while attempting a repair, damaged my personal property, and left a large mess for me to clean. Since then, the washer sometimes will not start unless I slam the door shut--the exact part they repeatedly slammed during the visit. Management also repeatedly called me while I was in my final year of school about my dog's temporary separation anxiety, despite being told that I was in class and actively addressing it. Security is inconsistent. Residents have dealt with break-ins and stolen car parts, yet when security is present, their priority seems to be telling me I cannot quietly walk my dog through the courtyard after 10 p.m. Cute resident parties and burger nights do not compensate for management dismissing concerns, enforcing ridiculous rules, and treating residents as though they are too ignorant to recognize legitimate problems. For nearly $3,000 per month, I expect far better communication, security, maintenance, and basic respect.

When we run into her, she also greets us and stops to chat for a bit to be sure everything is good and just chats about what we have been up to. We have also had to have a few Maintenance calls and Raul, and his team has been excellent! Raul even came over on his day off to fix something which was very much appreciated. Our apartment is also really awesome! It's a perfect size for 2 people and 2 kitties! Area is relatively quiet, atmosphere is great and complex is kept very nice and pretty. Only 1 small complaint would be that people aren't grabbing their washer/dryer stuff in a timely manner. This is an issue though that the complex staff has been working on! Eventually, we actually plan on hoping to upgrade and move into a 2 bedroom whenever possible!
