When we got the vehicle back, his secured weapon (firearm) that had been inside the car was missing. I went back inside business and spoke with Casey and asked did the vehicle stay in the lock lot entire time-who confirmed the vehicle had been kept in their gated lot. I informed him that the weapon was missing and that I would be reporting it stolen after verify with the Highway Patrol. Casey then informed me that the Highway Patrol had taken it-which turned out to be completely false. After finally getting in contact with the Highway Patrol on April 14, they confirmed they did NOT remove the weapon, As we were preparing to file a police report and have a office meet us at the business and stay with us until we received the weapon.-we suddenly received a call from the tow company-within a hour-saying they "found" the weapon. The entire situation felt extremely shady. Nothing added up, communication was inconsistent there was no accountability, apology, or explanation-just misinformation. If this company is outsource or used by the Police Department or Highway Patrol, I strongly urge that they reconsider using them. This level of unprofessionalism and lack of integrity is unacceptable. I strongly urge others to be cautious when using this company. It makes me wonder how many others may have had items go missing and never followed up. Officer that was there he was so helpful and we did get the weapon back.
