My car recently broke down in the parking garage at work. They tried jumpstarting my vehicle, but…read morethe battery and alternator were shot. They towed it out of the garage to my usual car repair place. They arrived within about 20 minutes of my call. Thanks for the help.

I would never recommend this towing company or repair shop!! To be fair, the tow truck arrived…read morequickly as I was in the middle of I-66, but that's about it. After towing my vehicle, I was told it would either be looked at that evening or first thing the following morning. The company also refused to accept a credit card and only wanted payment through Cash App or Zelle. I even questioned it at the time but was on the side of interstate so didn't have much of a choice and paid the $150. ** The next day around noon, I went to the shop expecting to hear the diagnosis based on what I had been told. Instead, I found out they hadn't even started looking at my car. While I was there, I was shocked by the condition of the shop. IT'S DISGUSTING. I love cats, so this has nothing to do with animals being present. The cats roaming the building had VISIBLE fleas and ticks crawling all over them, there was heavy dust and hair and who knows what everywhere, trash scattered throughout the office and shop, and the entire place looked completely unsanitary and poorly maintained. I literally had to spray myself down before coming home so I didn't pass the bugs along to my dog. ‼‼ IF A BUSINESS CAN'T MAINTAIN A CLEAN WORKSPACE OR PROPERLY CARE FOR THE ANIMALS LIVING THERE, IT DOESN'T INSPIRE CONFIDENCE THAT THEY'LL PROPERLY DIAGNOSE OR REPAIR A CUSTOMER'S VEHICLE. To make matters worse, I wasn't informed until after I complained that there was a $150 diagnostic fee and a $75 per-night storage fee. That information should have been disclosed upfront. Because of this I then decided I wanted to take my car elsewhere to get a diagnosis. They refused to release my keys until I paid the fees for the car in the lot for less than 24 hours after failing to provide the service that was promised. *So, as many others, I called the police and filed a police report. This apparently happens all of the time at this business. Between the lack of communication, undisclosed fees, POOR customer service, and the DISGUSTING and I mean DISGUSTING condition of the shop itself, I will never return and advise you do the same. Unfortunately, I was not able to get pictures because the company locked all the doors to the office/shop immediately after they realized a police report was being filed and closed early. See y'all in civil court!

Dominion Towing - My resident parking pass was clearly displayed. towed my car due to the only spot left in the lot to park was guest. Bullshit

You have to love (or you really should) businesses that find themselves at the end of a long,…read morestrange, winding road; a road where the state ends it's maintenance and a road when you come back, you're informed you've entered the jurisdiction of another country (Alexandria). Dominion Towing, Inc., a source of true joy and happiness for many hapless parkers, lies at the end of such a road. It's nestled between the Beltway, train tracks, metro tracks, and Four Mile Run. Barbed-wire fences mark the boundaries between you and your offending vehicles. Nice, surly, and mildly-sympathetic folks work behind the wheels and windows of this operation. I've been to worse places in search of my (or my friends) lost vehicles. I've never been to a tow-yard at then end of such a wild street, one that seems to find itself drawn on a map without too much blank space so the mapmakers said, "What random crap can we put on that road?" In NoVA, the answer is supply, shutter, fence, and towing companies. Happy hunting!

When I went to pick it up, the front desk actually said "thank you for your business, come again," which felt extremely unprofessional and sarcastic given the situation. The spot they towed from is a wide "fire lane" that's easily big enough for two cars to pass, and in all the time I've lived here I've never seen a fire truck use it. It feels less like a real safety issue and more like aggressive, predatory towing in our neighborhood, especially on a holiday.

When the driver, Franko, arrived, he asked if the car would start. I explained that it would not and that it would need to be jump-started. He successfully jump-started the vehicle and then attempted to drive it onto the flatbed. However, my car's front lip was dragging on the ramp. I asked him if he had the proper ramps or extensions needed to safely load a low-clearance vehicle. He told me he only had one board because people sometimes take equipment from his truck. He then asked if I wanted him to continue driving the car onto the flatbed. I told him no because I did not want my front bumper damaged. Wanting to help resolve the situation, I contacted my apartment maintenance staff and asked if they had any extra 2x4 boards that could be used. They agreed and immediately brought them over. While we were waiting just a few minutes for maintenance to arrive, Franko stated that he could not wait any longer because they were busy and that I would need to contact my insurance company to request another tow truck. At that point, he had already begun raising the flatbed to leave. I called the phone number on the truck, and the representative told me essentially the same thing--that they were busy and could not say when they would be able to send another driver. During that phone call, my maintenance technician arrived with the 2x4 boards. Franko told me to wait while he finished his call. A few minutes later, he lowered the flatbed, used the 2x4s, and successfully loaded my vehicle onto the truck without damaging it. This demonstrated that the situation could have been resolved with just a little patience instead of threatening to leave and requiring me to arrange another tow. Before he departed, I handed Franko my car key and specifically instructed him--both verbally and by text message--to give the key directly to Chris Hazard, the manager at Toyota. I even texted him Chris Hazard's name and phone number to ensure there would be no confusion. Franko acknowledged my instructions and said, "Okay." Unfortunately, that is not what happened. While he did deliver my vehicle to the dealership, he simply handed the keys to an employee instead of asking for Chris Hazard as instructed. Because of this, I never received confirmation that my vehicle had arrived. I ultimately had to ask a friend to drive to the dealership to verify that my car had been delivered. My friend confirmed that the vehicle was there but also confirmed that Franko did not ask for the manager and simply handed the keys to a random Toyota employee. This entire experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I scheduled my tow in advance, yet the driver arrived without the proper equipment to safely load my vehicle, attempted to leave rather than work through the issue, and then failed to follow my clear delivery instructions. As a customer, I should not have to deal with this level of unprofessionalism or be left worrying whether my vehicle was delivered safely because the driver chose not to follow simple instructions. I would appreciate this matter being reviewed and addressed so that future customers do not experience the same lack of preparation and professionalism.
