Her calm, professional demeanor is something I see less of in the medical profession these days, it was certainly well appreciated by myself and my wife. The staff demonstrated their desire to assist in any way. One of the staff was in the waiting room patiently working with an elderly person to make sure she understood what was going on and how it would proceed. The facility is well staffed with a professional attitude not seen in many medical facilities these days. We were not numbers, we were clients, patients there to be treated and were respected as such.

Just walk in, tell the lovely, super friendly front desk staff your name, and done. I've visited mannnnnnnnnny times over the years and have never spent more than five minutes in the very large and clean waiting area. All of the techs are fabulous! Everything from routine imagining to diagnostic, they all go above and beyond to make me feel cared about and comfortable. With limited mobility, they are also very careful, patient, and eager to accommodate any of my needs (e.g., a step stool, removing my shoes for me, etc.). During MRIs they provide a new pair of no slip socks to keep the lil piggies warm (you get to keep them). And, they even cover my body with a cozy, heated blanket...very spa like! It's the small touches like these that make an uncomfortable, and sometimes a bit scary, process much more tolerable. I'm so grateful for everyone at ARA-WP. Best location in the ATX in my opinion. I called Hamilton Vein Clinic and a kind-voiced Abby facilitated my initial appointment! Before the appointment day I downloaded new patient forms from the Hamilton Vein Clinic website. The website is richly informative and easy to maneuver! The Hamilton Vein Clinic Round Rock office is easy to access with lots of available parking. The office has an inviting welcoming ambiance with low-key calming decor and nice amenities, i.e., current magazines and newspapers, bowls of peppermints, a Keurig beverage machine for coffee, tea and other hot beverages, bottles of water and artfully arranged uncrowded seating! The office team is superb! ANYA is the warm smiling personable front arena concierge! Medical Assistant NOHALANI took me to an examination room to review and gather additional information, take vitals and then introduced Physician Assistant AMANDA, who continued with the information gathering and examination process. Next Sonographer BRIANNA carefully "sonogram'ed" both legs. Before, during and after STEPHANIE is the catalyst ensuring everything needing to be communicated for appointments and messages, and all else is executed in excellent clear communications! YOU ARE AWESOME! After reviewing the sonograms it was determined I would benefit from the Radio Frequency Ablation (RFA) since there were three veins involved and the nature of the procedure would take three quick succession appointments and then a follow-up sonogram! During the discussion of the procedures, I asked if we could proceed as soon as possible! Fortunately their schedule allowed us to proceed immediately with the first of three RFA procedures! Medical technicians Marisela and Maritza provided exquisite careful prepping of the "operating room" and my leg and narrated each step of the process! It was impressive! I am grateful they and Hamilton Vein Center is obsessed with sterile everything in this office! After getting me prepped they asked what music I wanted to listen to throughout the procedure and brought up my requested playlist on the laptop next to the procedure table! That was a first for me and what a great idea! After all the prep was completed Dr. Justin Smith arrived to do the procedure! Whereas it is not essential to this review I will include that Dr. Smith is a movie-star handsome fella! What is essential to know: Dr. Smith has performed these and the other vein procedures every day for years! Dr. Smith possesses a personable, kind demeanor, and like Marisela and Maritza, narrated each step and aspect of what he was going to do next, and as he was performing that portion of the procedure! In addition to the professionalism exhibited and the warm manners towards me and the other patients I observed coming and going is the great camaraderie and kindness exhibited between all members of this exceptional team as they interacted with one another! It is obvious this medical practice has given careful thought and planning in creating and providing a sterile environment and practices as well as ensuring all the details are in place for a memorable patient experience! This is a "Blue Ribbon 5-Star" medical venue!

It was my first time ever having a procedure that required anesthesia and I let them know my level of fear about being put under. They explained my options very clearly and allowed me to make that decision without feeling pressured. I even asked if they could just not tell me when they do it and to sort of sneak it into my I.V. and that's what they did for me! I'm no longer afraid of any anesthesia I may need in future thanks to this positive experience. I've been home for a day now and am recovering well! The even called to check on me this morning. I highly recommend this facility.

It's been a day since I have gotten back from surgery for a heart ablation done at the Austin Heart…read moreHospital in Round Rock, Texas. I am a patient of Dr. Whitehill there. I am very happy to say that my experience there was fantastic from the point of checking in at the hospital in the morning to being discharged after the procedure was finished and I was ready to leave later on that night. A small army of very nice, very competent people helped me through every step of a rather scary and potentially dangerous operation. The nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff were especially compassionate and listened carefully to all my concerns, and then acted on them. The vibe there was always upbeat and positive. I really felt that these people cared about me and what they were doing. It definitely wasn't just a job for them. I'd like to shout out to the nurses there: Heather, Lexi and Joe. I had a minor complication after surgery and they stood by me, taking turns attending to me until the problem was fixed. Every person that I interacted with was patient, friendly and compassionate. What more can you ask of a hospital? I love to write reviews about food and restaurants, etc, but never about places like hospitals. Let's just say that I need to be very impressed if I am to spend my valuable time writing a review of a hospital. Thank you, Dr. Whitehill and staff. You guys are the best!

While in the hospital a year the nurses kept talking about the Dr. Z & how I'd love him. They said that everyone calls him Dr. Z bcuz his last name is hard to pronounce but none the less he was/is great. A wonderful Cardiologist!!! In the event you are in need of one, I recommend him .
