You could go here for wings, but why? Years ago these were fabulous wings. Juicy, crispy, and plump. Now they are sparrow sized and fried In completely rancid oil. They are usually dried out like they had been fried in that nasty rancid oil, put in the freezer for a few months to dry out completely, then reheated in the totally rancid oil. And if you ask for celery, you can get it for a price but most likely it will be not just be wilted but rotten and it will still have dirt clinging to the sticks. I've had all of this. And not just once but several times. So it just wasn't supply chain issues or a bad day. Go anywhere but here for your wings. I know I'm done with this business. read more

I cannot speak on the food, but what I can speak on is the service. My husband tried to call to place his pick up order, that I was going to go into town to go get after work - the phone line " busy " this location has done this several times. When you do get them on the phone, great! They say 15 to 20 mins your food will be ready! It takes me 20 minutes to get there and the food hasn't even been started, I wait another 20 mins for a 10 piece wings meal. Of course I am patient and understanding. I place my husbands order once I get there, run an errand, get back the food still isn't done, I'm waiting in the dining room - A FULL DINING ROOM, I will add. The young blonde girl at the counter steps away to their corner booth and pulls out a VAPE(!!!!!) and starts vaping in the dining room full of paying customers. Being in the food industry myself, this is unnecessary and unacceptable - then she proceeds to hand out orders and drinks without washing her hands. Overall - my story here is people are watching and I was one of the paying customers very appalled by the whole interaction I was watching! Is there no food safety training or certification for this restaurant?!?! read more

HONESTLY, if I could rate this not even one star I WOULD! First off we waited 30 minutes in the drivethru just to be told we had to call ahead and order. There is no sign on the front doors that says that. For people who are not from Athens, like myself, would never know. Waiting 30 minutes to be told we have to wait 30 more minutes when your hungry, well you know...hangry. So we park and decide to wait and order anyways, let's just try it. Ordered and found out that the menu that is online is not up to date. So not only do we have to wait longer, you don't have the items your menu says. After waiting and pulling up to the drivethru to get the food it starts pouring. There is no rain cover and the food is NOT even ready! The service here seriously needs better time management. Probably the ONLY positives are that the food smells and taste delicious. Who orders 24+ wings and no ranch/blue cheese is given?! read more

Good wings! Nice people, nothing fancy- sports themed, 4 tvs. Friendly staff, quick service and good location. We have eaten here several times and each time has been good. Pepsi products and this is a plus as well, don't prefer Coke. Pretty extensive menu, they have a lot of offerings so come hungry. read more

Do not bother calling in for an order, you'll still have to wait for it! This location request call ahead otherwise they give you an attitude if you don't, so we called ahead, the lady on the phone said "5-10 minutes and they'll be ready". I got to the location 15 minutes later and went thru the drive to pick up. The girl at the counter was taking an order, there were about 4 people in line inside so we waited... and waited... the girl stared at me 3-4 times and took every person insides order, making us wait 10 minutes in the drive thru for pick up. I honked my horn and she looked at me and proceeded to take the next persons order! Instead of telling them "give me one second let me check the drive thru" she made us wait! She finally comes to the wi dow, no apology and i proceed to let her know we called in an order 20 minutes ago and she took my payment and submitted my fu&$ing order to the cook!!! I told her the lady on the phone said it would be ready and the girl said "no we make them fresh each time" then why the hell would you tell a CUSTOMER it would 5-10 minutes for our order to be done!??? The girl rolled her eyes and took my money, didn't offer a discount or apology she just continued with running my payment. Kudos to the little old Hispanic lady i saw in the back making the wings tho, she did an amazing job but i most definitely will not be going back! 0 stars if i can get them. Oh i didn't catch the girls name because she put a random fake name on the receipt but she was a tiny little white girl. Update*- i woke up with food poisoning from this facility the next day and i know it was them because that was the last thing i ate for the day. I was visiting family and getting lunch. Everyone was good with wings and tenders. I ordered the super meal with boneless wings and tenders. Wound up with traditional wings, for which I was charged an additional fee of $4. I called back, drove back and swapped out the order and asked about the additional charge. There seemed to be some displeasure with getting the order corrected and I don't know if the charges were corrected. The food was ok but the service was NOT up to par on this date. I seriously doubt I will return. read more

First review of a brand new restaurant, good food selection and fair prices, the wings were cooked well though a little small, fries were good and since this is an all inclusive review the 2 slivers of celery should have been scraps in the trash can. Also the place needs work inside, the tile floor when you walk in looks awful, didn't affect the food but eye appeal brings people back so maybe it's still a work in progress and will only get better. read more

I was in Athens and literally stumbled upon this place, was in the mood for wings, thought I'd give it a try. I definitely won't be back. First, I walked in to an absolute SAUNA. Miserably hot, I asked the woman behind the counter about it, assuming maybe the a/c was busted? Nope, apparently they just weren't running it. By the time I finished placing my order there was literally sweat running down my face, it was that hot inside. I ordered my wings to eat in, in spite of the heat, but after my THIRD styrofoam cup of iced tea had the ice melt within a moment, I asked them to just make it to go. It was cooler in my car then in there. I ordered the wing combo, which came with fries, but told her to leave off the fries, I didn't want them. She kindly offered me several options, but I declined, just wanted the wings. When I got home and opened up the to go tray the first thing I saw was half a tray of fries. I ordered the wings with a garlic sauce and when I opened up the plate, even though I had smelled garlic, there was none on the wings, they were totally bone dry. I mean no sauce had EVER touched a wing.???? But there in the back corner of the styrofoam tray, just floating in a corner by itself was maybe, maybe a teaspoon of a garlic oil of some kind. Did they forget to toss them in seasoning and just added a squirt at the last minute? Is it their intention to have the seasoning choice as a dipping sauce, n which case one would expect something more than a teaspoon? I have no idea. The wings themselves were very standard fare, nothing remarkable at all. So to review: boiling hot sauna inside (call me crazy but I don't enjoy eating whilst sweating), order wrong, no seasoning on wings, all for nearly $10......thanks, but no thanks. My favorite place to get my "wing fix." I get the traditional wings in hot sauce and they are perfection. Always cooked with a light crisp on the outside with just the right amount of heat. Other local places that serve wings are soggy to me. I highly recommend Touchdown Wings. read more
