THE BEST SPA DAY EVER! I mean really, where do I start? I was greeted by the friendliest and cutest staff ever. They offered a foot soak in copper bowls and the essential oils mixed in was heaven for my sprained ankle. The sauna is quaint and really does the job! I walked in feeling bloated and sluggish and left the sauna feeling like a new woman! Now, my favorite part was the massage. Lemme tell you, it's not called "Touch of Sam" for no reason, Sam is literally the massage wizard. I used to swear by massage chains but this was hands down the best massage of my life. I've gone to Touch of Sam every month for a massage for about a year now. I often add facials or other services too. They are extremely professional and listen/ask questions to make sure it is personalized for your needs. I appreciate that their website makes it so easy to find a time that works for my busy schedule. I also enjoy the little touches they add to their office such as scented hand scrubs, chocolates, and decor; it makes a huge difference compared to spas I've been too. Purchased two Groupons for a "90 minute spa experience" and this was anything but that. Seriously, the train wreck started when I went to the restroom which was filthy. Pee splattered and hair trimmings as though haircuts were also done in the bathroom. Next a young female showed me into my room where I was asked to place my feet into an empty metal bin. Many minutes went by before she returned to pour some tepid soapy water over my feet. Next I was greased up all over with zero pressure, no massage AT ALL. When I asked her about this she said she was not actually allowed to use any pressure, as she was not a masseuse. Next came the "facial" which was some grainy apple smelling mess rubbed on my face, then rubbed off with a rag. Oh and the champagne and chocolates, a Dixie cup of tap water and an individually wrapped LifeSaver. NO JOKE. Thank God I got a refund for the second Groupon. I would give negative stars if I could. I have had many spa experiences, but this was nothing in that realm. read more

I called the number and got a voicemail to text for an appointment if I could not book online. I have texted twice and have not received a response. Many massages are solely about relaxation, and that is about it. You feel great during the massage, but the next day or even hours later, you realize you still have the same knots in your back, shoulders, etc. and nothing was really fixed. I found Samantha to be more of a problem solver than anything else. I see massage therapy as just that, therapy, and Samantha definitely provides a great experience. read more

I purchased the couples massage as a Groupon for $159 for my husband's bday based on seeing good reviews, but ended up very very disappointed and out of my money. I was charged taxes on top of my Groupon purchase which was not listed on the site at all and honestly I shouldn't have paid them for that reason. We arrived early for our appointment because my husband needed to fill out his form. We were greeted by a really nice receptionist and an entire suite full of burnt hair smoke and loud hair dryers running. I was confused and asked the receptionist if we were in the right place or if we would expect relaxation because the smoke and noise was over powering! My husband was never asked to fill out his forms, and then we sat soaking for a while until the water was completely cold. Although we were early, things started late/past our appointment time. During this time it was no relaxation as a nail tech sat in front of us on her phone in a tight space (it was awkward) and children and others came in and out of the room. This is a hair salon, nail salon, and it has a massage room. I really should have left as my first instinct, but I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt. There was no massage, just oils rubbed on with no pressure. The facial left my face so dry as it was put on and just wiped off with hot towels. I felt most relaxed by the heated bed and hot towel. I was very disappointed in the fact that I spent so much and my husband's gift was ruined with no sense of relaxation. Everything down to the chocolate was a joke and I don't think the ladies we saw were licensed massage therapist. Maybe they were via a cosmetology license or something, but massage therapy was not their focus. I've just never had a "massage" like that. I don't recommend this place at all and it's sad because I like to support my own. My voucher was redeemed by the establishment prior to even being able to discuss anything with the receptionist so I was out of my money per the Groupon policy. I wanted to suck up my experience due to hoping that my husband's was the bomb, but it was not for him either as his massage was just like mine with oils rubbed on the top of your body part with no massage and pressure applied. They are over selling on Groupon and it's sad because multiple people will lose money through Groupon. The massage, facial, foot scrub, and back scrub totaled an hour together and the other 20+ minutes (because we were early and they started late) consisted of our feet soaking in water. I will not buy big purchases through Groupon and I will not book any more spa services that I'm not familiar with. My husband called to speak to the manager and never received a call back. It was all a lesson learned, sadly a very disappointing one. The one good thing is that the receptionist was nice the entire time and tried to maintain professionalism the entire time and I tipped off her being nice but honestly I shouldn't tip for bad customer service. read more

OMG- probably the best massage I've ever had. No joke. She worked out knots in my back that were holding on like no tomorrow. She gave me a deep tissue massage, that was out of this world. read more

Sam is awesome -- she has such a calming effect. I could be having the worst day, and the minute I lay down on her massage table, all of my worries and stress melt away. I typically receive deep tissue massage -- she is one of the better massage therapists I've ever been to. I've been a happy client of hers for almost 6 months and have since referred my fiance to her as well. No, her office isn't in a fancy spa with snacks and mood lighting, but the quality of the massage is terrific! read more

One if the worst massages ever. I get them regularly and I will never go back. First off I was on the table getting a massage and she had someone come in the front door. She actually left my massage, interrupting my treatment, and went out to her lobby to see who it was and take care of other business!!!!! Then, she said she would give me extra time on the table to make up for it and did NOT!! Then, I go to pay with cash and she had no change which required me to pay extra!!! This was the second massage with her. The first one she lied to me and I will not go into the details. Two chances and both strike out!! No more chances. read more
