I typically don't like massages because I don't like people being in my personal space but when I…read moreread that she specializes in people with diseases, sports injuries and just general massage I had to try her. Let just say that I already scheduled my next session. She was gentle, compassionate and very attentive! She made to sure address every area I had concerns about as well as address areas that I thought I could get by her. The room was very comfortable and smelled great with 3 diffusers with essential oil. She gave me a bag full of salt with instructions on what to do and with a bottle water. I will definitely be back and recommend that you come pay a visit to Tanya.

Tanya is a gem! Her whole-person approach is exactly what I didn't know I needed when getting a…read moremassage. She takes the time to get to know you and truly sees you as a person and not just a customer. She is easy to talk to and is able to adapt to your individualized needs for the massage experience. While my previous massage experience was limited to 3 different places, Tanya has hands-down created the most welcoming space. As a person who is more reserved and hesitant about opening up both about myself and my personal space, I immediately felt at ease. She took the time to determine exactly what type of massage (level of pressure, areas that may need more attention, etc.) would meet my goal: to decompress. During the massage itself, I was able to unwind and felt the burdens of life--big or small--melt away. I have nodded off each time, a sure sign that my mind has been liberated from nagging thoughts of that never-ending to-do list.

I feel like a bronzed princess! My first time getting spray tanned so I don't have much to compare…read moreit to but it was a good experience with beautiful results. Make sure you book online. You can read more reviews through their booking website. I did mine with Hannah. I booked a 10:30am appointment at 4am in the morning... I came in without calling and they were already tracking the appointment. Seamless. I wore a t-shirt and basketball shorts. I got completely naked because I didn't want tan lines. Hannah made me feel very comfortable and was great. She listened to all my skin issues and was accommodating! I have 8 year old stretch marks and 4 month old scarring from poison ivy rash. *disclaimer! It does not cover it up completely, I have medium skin tone (I'm Filipina & Thai) so the spray tan made it all blend in and less noticeable. *Make sure to shower/ shave/ and exfoliate before coming. Don't lotion up. (Based on some research I did, lol) They have a wide variety of beauty options you can choose from. I'll be back to try other things. :)

I scheduled a simple cut and color for my wife, as she's spent the last 3 years caring more for our…read moregrowing family than herself. Not only did Darlene schedule the 2 different sessions 3 hours apart, but she failed to respond to my wife's text message noting the significant time difference. She then made her wait a half hour at reception just to tell her that she'd moved all her other appointments forward. We both took time out of our schedules for this, just to be refused service. Maybe their work is outstanding, we wouldn't know, but the customer service and communication is substandard, as such we'll find another salon.

I'll go with 5 starts here even though I only went once so far for a Massage, however I do have an…read moreappointment for a Reflexology Mani-Pedi set up for next Saturday, through a deal I bought with a Groupon. I was extremely happy with my Massage from Connie, it was JUST right, as far as everything goes. The Spa is cute and not far from my home, and includes a row of very busy hair stylists, and also an area for Manicures and Pedicures. The massage room was quiet, peaceful and comfy. The Massage Conversation was just right, thank God it didn't start with the dreaded "So do you have a boyfriend? What does he do? What do you do?" while I'm laying there trying to forget that I have a life outside my pampering day. I'm really looking forward to coming back, and making this more of a regular pampering place!

Trouble started when I tried to book a spa package. At first, no one would answer the phone. I…read moretried multiple times during the day when they website said they were open. So, I left a message. No one called me back. Someone finally answered after the third day of trying. I would have given up, but I had purchased a Groupon. The Groupon they had advertised was for a three hour spa package. Mani, pedi, hot stone massage and hot stone facial. They pushed me out the door after two hours exactly. I handed the owner my Groupon while my nails were drying. Gave her a generous tip to share with the massage "therapist". They both then proceeded to walk out the back door. Didn't say thank you, or good bye, or hope you enjoyed your visit, or I'm sorry we're an hour short today, etc. One of the hair dressers politely said for me to have a nice day. I was the first client of the day. They got there and opened up at exactly 10:01. The rugs and floors were dirty. The nail area needed a good scrub and sanitizing. It was kind of like a one room school house. To the right are the hair stations (2 or 3) and to the left is the small nail area. Straight back behind the receptionist "pedestal" is the hair washing station and to the right is the "massage room". I can't imagine what the massage room would have sounded like if someone was getting their hair washed. The massage room is sectioned off by sheet rock ONLY. You can hear everything that was in the salon. While my masque was drying, the lady felt the need to eat chips....in the room. I have never had that happen in my life. Oh, and I was super curious as to what a hot stone facial was, but I'll never know. It was just a regular facial that I could have done at home. Didn't feel refreshed and I actually felt dirty. Poor job of washing the masque off. I went out for lunch afterwards and my entire nose was still full of masque goop. I recommend a business owner refresher course, a good deep cleaning, and removing the word "SPA" from the business name.
