She asks at the start of each session about the problem areas. Once started, she is very intuitive about what needs attention and spends time there. She will vary the pressure if asked (she takes time to verbally check). But, frankly, she is so in tune with the depth I need, I almost always say, "already perfect." I leave feeling more relaxed and less tense. Her efforts are not just "feel good" in the moment... the positive healing results are lasting. I go to her again and again, and I will schedule the next massage with her as well.

Gail gives, hands down, the best massage I've ever had, including the massages I've had in resorts and in Asia! With that said, it's not the nicest place I've ever received a massage, but her modest room is comfortable, clean, and very relaxing. You'll enter into a small receiving area and led into her room (kind of like a bedroom). The room itself has the massage bed in the center, is dark, and has a nice candle and little waterfall thing where you can hear running water. The massage - the woman's hands are magic! Great pressure and she really works out all knots. She spends the first half of the massage on your back and then moves on to the backs of legs then flips you over to get the fronts and arms. The scalp massage isn't my favorite and I usually opt for an additional 10 mins of massage elsewhere. Most of all, she is a sweet and hard working mother. Very professional, very courteous, and made me feel very comfortable and valued.

I always appreciate when a therapist doesn't ask me a million times during my massage if the pressure is good, if I like what they're doing, etc. I told Gail at the beginning that I was a relaxer and liked the quiet, and she said "as long as you let me know if you don't like something, that's fine with me". I was able to just relax and enjoy. The only problem is that I wished it had last 2 hours longer, and that I could afford to go every week! I will definitely be visiting again whenever massage therapy is in my budget.

I have been dealing with post concussion syndrome, which makes my pain worse and whiplash that has gotten so bad I can't sleep. The massage I got today was by far the best I have ever had in my life. I don't want to have to direct the session or explain what to prioritize--I'm looking for a practitioner who can assess, listen, and work intuitively from their own expertise. That's exactly what I experienced here. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was calm, peaceful, and grounding. The space felt safe, clean, and thoughtfully prepared, which allowed me to fully relax and receive. During the session, the therapist demonstrated a high level of skill, sensitivity, and clinical understanding. She was intuitive in her approach and addressed areas of need without me having to guide the process. I felt that she was both listening to my body and applying her professional knowledge in a way that was precise and deeply therapeutic. It's not easy to find that balance of clinical effectiveness and intuitive care, but she offers both. I left feeling supported, more mobile, and genuinely cared for. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for medical or therapeutic massage, especially if you want to be able to trust your practitioner and simply receive the work.
