I requested quotes from 3 companies over the phone and I was surprised how they varied so significantly. The other companies' quotes scared me off. I had Plumbing Express come out to fix an outdoor valve, replace my water softener and drain my water heater. Rob got to the house at the scheduled time and started to look at the heater. He said my house looked familiar and we realized that he actually installed my 80 gallon water heater 5 years earlier. He was working for a different company at that time and I remembered that he did a great job and even discounted the work significantly since I had cleared the work area before he got there. What happened was there was a crack under my toilet so no matter what I would have done, it wouldn't have worked. THESE GUYS SAVED ME! (Wish I could give 100 stars) It's Saturday afternoon and the waterline to the fridge busted! Long/Short This house is across the street from my Fathers house. The man that used to live there passed away and his son who I grew up with lives in North Carolina, so he is selling the house and I am watching it. Jerry was great all-around. I thought I just had a backed up sink and a broken garbage disposal. Jerry came over, took a look and explained clearly what he was going to do. We needed to replace the valve in our guest bathroom shower and realized after a while that it was too big of a job for us to do. It had been in place for far too long and was so corroded we couldn't get it out despite our best efforts. We called plumbing express (after hours) and they were here within the hour! They were able to get the valve out but unfortunately we then discovered a leaky pipe. They came back the next day as promised to fix it, which required going in thru the drywall behind the shower to replace the pipe. Now the pipe is fixed, valve is replaced and we have a clean looking access panel in our closet if we ever need it.
