Totally tea is located at Barton Creek Mall, downstairs by the Cheesesteak Factory, small place but one of the few boba places in the mall. Walked right in, free samples at the door, they were strawberry based. They have a good amount of signature drinks available as well as other drinks on their menu available for you to select from. I got the brown sugar milk tea, good flavor, not super sweet which to me is good, sometimes when they're too sweet I get tired of it quickly. There was a lot of boba in my drink so when I finished my drink there was a bit too much boba left over. The strawberry smoothie had a good flavor but it was more milk based. I was expecting more ice-y texture, but it was more smooth, kind of like a milkshake. Total for both drinks was roughly about $15 without tip, but $19 with tip included, don't forget to tip people making the yummy drinks! :) The guy working behind the counter was very friendly and he got our drinks done pretty quickly! If I find myself at the mall again I may stop by again to try out the different things on their menu. :) read more

We were already planning on grabbing boba here but there was a gentleman outside of the shop offering samples. Strawberry coconut and it was pretty good! If I didn't always order Thai tea I would have gotten that. We ordered a few drinks: 2 Thai teas, a fruit slush, a fruit tea and then a lemonade for my toddler. All the drinks were really tasty, the boba and popping boba were great too! Definitely will be back when we come to the mall :) read more

Located within the Barton Creek mall, this place is good for a to go boba drink. The pricing is good for the Austin area, and the drinks were good (not great though). Seating is located right outside the shop that is comfy and relaxing. Service was good, but not enough to warrant a second visit due to it being slightly underwhelming. read more

Me and my friends are not from the area. All of our first time in Austin. Believe it or not this experience was the worst during our vacation. We wanted some boba and unfortunately found this place. My friends ordered their drinks and moved to the side. It was my turn. I asked the worker at the register what is your most popular fruit drink? With no expression he pointed to their menu at the top. I ordered the Wowee lemonade. I moved to the side and waited for my drink. My friends drinks were apparently ready. No name or number was called. I watched as they both walked up the pick up counter where there were a few drinks lined up and your worker with an irritated face and voice says "You guys gotta help me!" They both told your employee what their drinks were. With a very annoyed demeanor he handed them their drinks. WHY do your customers have to help YOU?! Sad to give the only bubble tea place in this area 1 star. This location is inside Barton creek mall in the lower level Macy's wing. The barista/register employee working was inattentive, rude, and purely looked like the didn't want to be there. Male taking my order blatantly ignored me to check out teenage girls walking by the store front. I was really taken back by this. Service deserves no stars. The drink was watered down, did not taste any tea whatsoever. The tapioca was undercooked and not palatable. Not worth the extra .75 cents, if anything made the whole drink worse. I'm not a fan. Paid $6.21 for a regular sized drink with 1 topping. I like the signage but it's way too close to the register making any photo opportunity awkward and intrusive to others. read more

I bought three teas and only one of them was decent. The teas were all inconsistent in quality. My friend told the workers that her tea was not good and politely asked for a refund. The adult male worker was sighing and rolling his eyes at my friend the entire exchange. He told her that wasn't the right drink and there was nothing he could do. She had to go back into the shop and tell them the service and quality was not acceptable. Only then did he make her a new drink. read more

This boba place was one of the worst ones. Went here with my boyfriend to give them a try bc we saw an ad around the outlet mall outside and new boba spot we don't have back home. My drink was just the classic brown sugar milk tea. You would think it should be pretty good but it was nothing special, it was devoid of flavor. It was more like a milky watery and nothing like a milk tea. My boyfriend's drink was strawberry milk tea, and his input was bad quality pretty much. Also the price when juxtaposed with the quality was poor, very expensive for a very mid drink. There service was extremely poor service. One of the last times we went to the mall we wanted a break and had heard great things about Totally Tea and stopped in, there were delicious choices and my daughters enjoyed the fun photo selfie wall which added such an element of fun! Our tea was a great size and we enjoyed it while we finished our day. Now Totally Tea is a must stop and we are enjoying trying different flavors. Not much of a line when I arrived. Wanted a brown sugar milk tea and was introduced to the popular drink so I went with that. I thought it was overpriced until I saw the size and I think it's the regular price. Drink is very flavorful and did not take me long to get. Scammy company. Menu says the drinks were priced as $4.99 for regular, $5.99 for large, and $0.75 for boba. I ordered a drink called "The Expresso" and was expecting the drink to be around $5.74 or $6.74 pre-tax depending on the size. Upon ordering I was informed the drink only came in large.... frustrating as there was nothing on the menu saying that, but whatever no big deal it's just $1. Right? No. The drink rings up as $8.99... I asked why this was and I was informed the drink comes with double boba, even though I didn't order double boba. I was pretty confused, but I paid and sat down. While waiting for the order I studied the menu trying to figure out where the price came from. Turns out "The Expresso" drink on their menu doesn't actually include any coffee in it as the only way I get that drink for $8.99 is by adding 2 x $0.75 for boba and $1.50 for an "expresso" shot to the large drink. Logic says a drink called "The Expresso" would already have "expresso" in it and the $1.50 price listed in the far corner of their menu would be for an additional shot. Logic also says I should have say as a customer on if I want one or two portions of boba, especially because I watched the girl add only one scoop and it was a very standard amount of boba for every bubble tea place I've ever gone to. Ultimately this is an extremely deceptive company I will not return to as the drinks are average at best and way over priced. read more

Horrible customer service. Awful "manager". This place is the worst. My kids wanted to try this place, so when the guy who claimed he was the manager said all the drinks had caffeine in them I asked to them split one in that case as I didn't want my kids drinking too much caffeine. He wanted to charge me $5 for a second plastic cup! I asked him if he was serious and he then said if I didn't like it I could leave his store. What a joke. LDE. This is the most unprofessional establishment i've ever been too. The customer service was awful and so was the manager. I was informed the drink only came in large because it was a "signature" which is not accurate because when i went to the totally tea in Round Rock they offered a regular size. We went back in the store and asked why the only let us get a large drink and both the employee and the manager denied this and said "get the fuck out of my store."
