As soon as I checked in for my exam the lady told me "if the computer lags just wait for it, it will eventually work", which was a huge red flag but I had to take my test. The computer didn't just lag between questions, the screen went completely blank multiple times during my test. When I asked for help they told me to wait for the page to load and that my time wasn't running out. Turns out my time was in fact running during those lags and during the complete black out screens. They told me that the ONLY thing they can do for me is to report this issue for me, which they didn't do. As a medical student I have taken many MANY proctored exams before but I have never been in a shittier situation during an exam. I lost nearly 20 minutes of exam time (which is HUGE considering that I only get 1.5 minutes per question). This exam is part of my licensing so it's a huge deal for me to pass it on the first try, yet the center did NOTHING about it. They continue to proctor exams with their ancient computers for profit while jeopardizing the future of many students. I will be reporting this center and their behavior to every possible entity and I hope they get shut down.

Professor Meijer has a great way of breaking down project management concepts and industry terms so they actually make sense. The education materials were available online but there was an option for the printed option ($35.00) which I decided to get since it would have costed me more in ink to print it all out myself. Worth it!! I like taking notes and writing all over my books and highlighting things. Prior to the class, it is recommended to take a pre course assessment to get your baseline. No comment on my baseline conditions. It was not great! I did my boot camp from March 1-4 @8:30-6pm PT with Mike Martin II. In retrospect I really should have signed up for a central time course since I am naturally an early bird and I really felt my brain struggling after 4pm everyday. Mike was great! Very engaging. His stories made the material a lot more relatable and easy to remember. 5 stars for Mike!! But PMA is bound to PMI course materials and the order of the slides were not, in my humble opinion, the best order. To overcome this, Mike did have some supplemental materials for the class which was most helpful. The class I was on had great participation so it made the class more active. I can tell Mike was very passionate and was invested in all of the students' success. He provided his personal information if we needed help after the course and encouraged us to apply for the exam, ask him if we have questions with the application and get a date in the books so it happens. The course is only as good as what you make of it. After the boot camp, I did a Mock Test and the Mock Test review session. I made sure to do Timed Practiced Tests once a week, attend the weekly Friday tutoring session (12-2pm PT/3-5pm ET), practice questions and situational questions. The situational questions are most helpful, but limited. When I went to take it the second time, it seemed like all the same questions. I wish they had more situational questions. My favorite tutoring sessions were with Mike Martin II and Stephen Hoogerwerf. They were helpful and organized, and their teaching styles were a good fit for me. If your class dates are flexible, I recommend finding a class that they are teaching. They also have Topic Review Videos. These videos were sooooooooo boring!! Not a fan. I actually ended up going on You-Tube to watch better made videos. Sorry, not sorry. Had to do what I needed to do to ensure my success. For the amount of money this course cost, I expect a bit more. I passed on my first try on April 10th with Above Target in all 3 Domains and on the overall test, but it required me exploring other studying avenues. I don't feel like PMA alone would have been enough. A part of this might be due to the PMP Exam version change at the beginning of 2021. They said that they could not find any report of the proctor reporting it to them, which prometric said is untrue when I called them. Since no one informed me that "report any issues to the proctor" is only for during the test to them or that I had the option not to submit scores. ETS made the decision not to allow me a free retest, so I had to pay for another test, which I chose to do from home. So to reiterate - DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY FOR TESTING!

The check in process was fast and efficient. The staff was courteous and accommodating as I had arrived early, but they still tried to let me in as soon as possible. There were numerous test takers so early in the morning, but when I was exiting at around 9:00, there were only a couple in the waiting room. My device was fully functional and clean. The room was quiet. All in all, this was a smooth testing experience. By the way, I passed the test! Yayyyyy!

It didn't look like any businesses would be located here, and I didn't see any big signs (there's a very faded plaque with room numbers if you look closely), no people walking around. I walked around briefly and thought, this can't be it. So I looked on google maps again and it almost looked like the red pin was on the other side of the street, behind the building I was at....so I took off in my car and drove to the other side. Nope, that was indeed a school LOL. It was fenced, so I couldn't walk back to the other side. So...I had to drive back to the other side and run around looking for the test room again. I ended up being slightly late but it didn't seem to matter since it took a long time for everyone else who arrived before me to check in. Tips: - I wouldn't leave any valuables in your car, take them with you since they allow each examinee a locker. Even though the test instructions mention not to bring anything into the exam, I think they should have made it clear that they mean the actual exam room, not the test center. - Look up the building on google maps. Long, old, run-down building. PSI exam room is upstairs. - Don't wear any outerwear with pockets or a hood. You'll have to put it in your locker. Dress in layers.

I get test anxiety. The owner and the employees are friendly and fast. They don't act overtly strict or too lax. It's just right. I recommend this testing center alongside Edugo in DTLA to everyone. I'm personally not a fan of the Pearson Professional Centers due to their professionalism and overall customer service.
