We are so incredibly grateful for the care provided to our son and daughter. At all times we knew they were in an environment that was safe and surrounded by people who truly cared for them. Our children grew into such wonderful little people under their watch. Not only did they learn from an academic standpoint but they continued to grow socially and emotionally. Our children entered into public school well above their peers in regards to subjects like math and reading but, more importantly, they were more mature, knew how to be kind friends, and were ready to learn. I would recommend Ahren's without any reservations.

Safety was our first concern. Ahren's access control is on point. Normally Mr John is in his office and monitors access if not there is a teacher on duty. You have to walk through the front door to access the care center. Education was our second concern. Every child in day care is taught to prepare for kindergarten. It seems like our child moving from kindergarten is ready for 2nd grade. Communication and kindness. Ahren's staff are very communication heavy. They made going through Covid easy and painless. They call and email information as well as group and one on one face to face. Ahren's is not your typical day care or education institution, it's a family, you feel like family. I highly recommend Ahren's to parents wanting their child to have that edge for the future.

I was so anxious about starting a daycare program for my kids, but from day 1, they took all my anxiety away. I feel both of my kids have gotten the education and social perks of going to a structured daycare program. The staff really do take an interest in making sure your kids succeed. They also like working there...many that I asked have worked there for over 10 years. Before looking into IBDS, I went and looked at other daycares. This was by far the best one around the Redlands, Yucaipa, Loma Linda area. Things that stand out from other places: Security: you fingerprint check-in/out your kids. Parent list authorized people that can check in/out their kids. Infant Room: no-shoes allowed (yay!!) and they have a dedicated nap room that is far from the play area. 2's: they learn some Spanish! Ms. Maria had my 2 year old counting and knowing her colors in Spanish. 2-3's: they actively help potty train! (Woo-Joo) Big shout out to Ms. Phyllis (frontdesk) who greets us every morning and somehow made it a "thing" to give my kids crackers! Also to Ms. Clarissa in the infant room. My daughter who is almost 4 still remembers her from the infant room. Talk about leaving an impression.

After few months, she is becoming really active and talks a lot in English which is a shock for us. Teachers at toddler class are very patient, nice and responsible, that make me feel at ease. Additionally, they teach a lot of skill to students such like cutting paper, drawing and writing. Last thing is they maintenace social distancing really well. That's very important for a school where we put our little kids in, I think. Overall, 10/10 for RDN! Highly recommend.

School is fun to him with the way everything is a game, story, or craft. They have always communicated early and clearly about upcoming changes. They have Summer carnivals, winter showcase with singing, and theme weeks throughout the year. They do have two locations.

Up until recently, everything was great in my child's classroom and then there was an incident, and my child's teacher completely changed her attitude towards my child, which is very unsettling and uncomfortable. When I have to look at her every time I drop off my child at school and she has a smug look on her face. mind you that my child is a busybody. She's a child that you need to be on top of she is extremely intelligent she's also a three-year-old and we know how that is. This particular teacher was always happy to see my child and after the incident it was almost as if she didn't even want her in her classroom anymore and that's what I dealt with dropping my child off in that classroom after the incident every time! If you lack the education, you need to provide care for a busy child then maybe you should go collect your $16.50 or $16.75 somewhere else because these are our children not to be played with or treated as such because of any situation! This teacher also never reached out to me not in an email or a text message to even talk to me about the situation even as I passed her in the hallway recently, which is very upsetting. With this being said the Director of this daycare center was very attentive and helpful when I brought to her my concerns prior to my conversation with her about this teacher my child was switched to a different classroom, a classroom with two amazing teachers, that clearly have the patience and education that they should have to work with children! Teachers that genuinely care about our children are important and I'm thankful that my daughter has two of the best now at this daycare!! I was seriously thinking about switching my child to a whole different daycare because of this, but once she was moved to a different classroom with the two teachers that have dealt with her before on numerous occasions because she was sent to that classroom on numerous occasions due to too many children in one classroom, I am at ease now knowing my child is with teachers that value their job and care about our children! Thank you Tracy and thank you teacher Janelle & Qiana the world needs more teachers like you! The 1 star is for the teacher that forgot what her actual job is!! My child's two teachers deserve 5!

My two boys have been at this center for 10 months. This was their first experience at a daycare/…read moreschool. The transition was emotional and very difficult for all of us. However, the teachers at this Kinder location have been so helpful. The kinder app is updated throughout the day and has eased my stress greatly. I can check in and see what my babies are doing at any time of the day. My kids are so happy at pick up and tell me all of the activities they did for the day. The most important piece for me is that the teachers have been so communicative. They're so attentive to my kids' feelings and growing phases. I have had a great experience with the center's director, Ms. Alyssa as well as the receptionist, Ms. Sarah. Initially I had so many questions. we were new to daycare, new to the area, and we are not from the state. We weren't sure of what we needed to make the transition for our children the smoothest. Ms. Alyssa and Ms. Sarah readily answered all of my random questions and helped us at each step. Lastly, I absolutely love that each month there are fun activities for the kids to participate in; ie, holiday parties, center celebrations, dress up days, Disney days. I would recommend this center to other parents. My babies are safe, happy, and are properly cared for.

I do not recommend this childcare facility to absolutely anyone with small children. Due to our…read moredire need of childcare as full-time working parents, I was desperate to find a local daycare as we are new residents of the city. Our daughters were only enrolled for 4 short months. In those months, we've experienced a poorly ran facility, stressed out "teachers" and child neglect. The 2 year old room consistently smelled like toddler poop from the moment of drop off to the moment of pick up. The teachers are unwelcoming and most seem to have no desire to be there. I would name drop but THEY know who they are. They put on their phone and have all of the little kids surrounding the phone watching CocoMelon. If i wanted my kids on a tablet or a phone, trust me I'd keep them home. I never saw youtube kids under their curriculum schedule. Next time please mention that during the TOUR. Our LAST and FINAL straw at this horrendous facility was when my partner picked up my 4 year old around 445pm. She was sitting, isolated on a chair because she had soiled her clothing during her naptime. Nobody bothered to give us a call and she had woken up from her nap around 2pm so HOURS had passed before we even got to pick her up. The following day when we went to unenroll the girls and talk with the director. She was very rude, unapologetic and kept reiterating that she wasn't there yesterday etc. Surely, they have policies and protocols in place when accidents like this happen. Nobody gave us a courtesy call and ALLL the teachers knew about her accident during nap time. They kept saying they support us and they understand and it was messed up that no one gave us a call and just had my daughter sitting, isolated for hours. Because of this, my child feels humiliated and is ultimately traumatized at the experience and behavior of these adults. I am appalled at the way they treated my child. I emailed corporate about it. I would not recommend this place EVEN if you're desperate. I promise there are better options out there.

Margarita is the best! She knows every child by name, greets them (and the parents!) every morning with a big smile, and always finds a way to make each child feel special, whether it's with a sticker, a small gift, or just her kind encouragement. My son is in the Tiger class with Miss Carolyn, Miss Rebecca, and Miss Esly, and they are amazing! He has such a blast every day. They use this messaging app called Learning Genie and they send us pictures of what they're doing and updates and it really helps make us feel involved throughout the day. He recently transitioned from a half-day to a full-day program, and he's thriving, coming home with crafts, stories, and new skills. He's even starting to read at just four years old! I really appreciate how invested the teachers and staff are in each child's growth. They take the time to communicate with parents, provide progress reviews, and share what areas our kids are excelling in or can work on. You can tell they truly care. While tuition can be on the higher side, they do offer scholarships and subsidized programs depending on financial need. Because of that, there is often a waiting list, so if you're considering enrolling, plan ahead! Overall, this school deserves every bit of five stars. The staff, the learning environment, and the care they show for the children make it such a special place. We're so grateful to have found it!
