Taking tests is always stressful so it's nice to go to a testing place where people are nice. I needed to take the SAFE MLO test and this location was the closest one to me. I'm glad I picked it. Before the test, I called a few times with questions, and every time they answered they were always helpful and pleasant. The even called me the day before the test to confirm and to say I could come in earlier if I want because they had some openings. Making an appointment for the test was easy and I had no trouble finding a convenient time and day to take the test. When you enter the parking lot off of Slauson, take a hard left and you'll be in front of the building. I went straight and endued up in the back of the building. No worries. It wasn't that hard to find. There's a ton of free parking. People are taking all kinds of tests there. They do a great job of letting you know what to expect before you even get there through emails and their website. They'll have you put all your stuff in a locker while you're taking the test. The only thing you can have on your person is your glasses, and they'll take a look to make sure they aren't camera-equipped! The staff does a terrific job of keeping the place clean and sanitized. They go the extra mile to ensure everyone's safety from COVID and other stuff, too. The testing environment is pretty good. Everyone has a cubicle. I don't think people are six feet apart, but they are in a cubicle, so I think that's OK. The keyboards are pretty noisy and the calculator they gave me was sticky, hard to read, and kept adding erroneous numbers due to its condition. If you have a lot of calculations to do, I hope you get a better calculator than I did, or you are good at using the calculator on the computer. They do offer over the ear headphones to reduce noise reduction but they weren't comfortable over my reading glasses. All in all, I'm glad I went to this location with friendly staff, easy parking, and a super clean environment. By the way, I passed my exam!!

I have their Foundation Course to thank for opening my mind to a whole new world of exciting opportunity. And it took me less than 2 months from the start of my training to get to where I am in Hangzou, China teaching Science and living in a lush apartment on the enormous, multi-million (billion?) dollar campus of Hailiang Foreign Languages School! There was at 1st some skepticism because of being influenced by naysayers and some other negative stuff going around online. But I suspect that this is from people who failed to follow through due to the depth of the study materials. This is a very good thing that their training is so all encompassing, and should stimulate your motivation to enroll in one of their TESOL Courses. This education is on a very high level and will help you to be prepared for life. I have the Foundation Course downloaded to my mobile device and it is invaluable for my continued reference for planning lessons and in the classroom. And even though the training is Graduate School in a University level as far as content, you will be guided all the way on how to get top scores and move forward. I can give this organization a 5 Star Rating forever! I must repeat that it is 5 stars all the way. This school helped me to achieve on of my dreams of traveling and living in China. The two main people at the school that I delt with, Mandy Jiang and Bryan Whitman put up with a lot of hassle from me but still supported me all the way and got me through. I am so grateful for those two and for TESOL Training International. This education and experience can be positively life changing if you let it. I am thankful, appreciative and grateful!

To be honest, it wasn't a class we considered at first, since my son never really showed an interest in science or engineering, but we went to the informational session where we learned about all the classes being offered and the instructors brought examples of teaching materials and I couldn't pull my son away from her table! There was a mechanical machine consisting of a paper cup and markers that was drawing on paper by itself and a banana piano...yes, 4 bananas hooked up to make piano sounds when you touched them. My son was sold and so was I. Since then, he wakes up every Thursday and tells me "today is engineering day". He's so proud when he shows me what they made in class, the lessons are impressive and more than that, my son seems to actually understand it. Swapna never underestimates the capabilities children have to learn complex lessons and I appreciate that so much. One more bonus is that Swapna emails the parents a description of the lesson our child learned in class that week including how they responded and sometimes with photos. It's a nice touch to get a look inside what your child is experiencing. I highly recommend Hopscotch & Doodles, if you're lucky enough to have it offered at your school, I'd jump at the chance to let your child experience something truly unique and fascinating!
