these guys are some incredibly incompetent and dishonest individuals !…read more I brought my Gen2 12.9" iPad for a new charging port and a new battery ...after the "Phone clowns" had my tablet for two weeks I get a call that told me my tablet was waiting at their office for pickup, they also mentioned they had replaced the charge port and battery but had to remove it because it still wasn't working , they then gave me full refund . This is where lie #1 came into play. They said they replaced the charge port but they did no such thing ....... when I returned him I plugged the charger and to no avail, I still had to put pressure on the charger so it would make contact and actually charge the tablet ! My point is If they actually put a new charge port in I would no longer need to fiddle around with the plug to make it work, I'm sure they wouldn't have pulled the new charge port after realizing the tablet wouldn't start . There are other details that transpired but I don't have the time to write a dissertation on this company, I'm only here to warn others to steer clear of these people ! After researching this tablet I find out that it takes a trained and seasoned tech to change the charge port , the newer charge ports are an easy swap but the Gen 2 needs a micro solder and an incredibly stable hand. The pads are very close and there is zero room for mistakes. My guess Is the tech took the tablet apart and realized he couldn't do the job , he put the tablet together (leaving glue EVERYWHERE and not even bothering to clean it up after he/she finished ..... bottom line is these guys cannot be trusted.

Also, the phone is junk. It shuts off constantly. Cannot make calls without repeated restarts. And the screen broke during Sim card installation. I called immediately and was told to bring it in. When I did I was told to do better research before buying and the store took no responsibility at all for any of the phones problems. This phone was beat up with damage all around the edge of the phone body. The stores refusal to offer any solution at all is not just very poor customer relations but dishonest. Considering small claims court. What a farce.

No awkward cricket chirps here! Rafa was the man and welcomed me as soon as I walked in! He didn't…read morejust greet me from afar, he approached me and we talked. He didn't wanna get my matters over with and was super patient. I came to switch from TMobile (no reception at my desk at work) with the goal to port my phone over. The process was seamless and Rafa made everything transparent. He showed me his screen and explained everything. I was slightly berated to why I should get the unlimited plan (seems like they have some sort of quota or reward for getting customers to go unlimited...) but they were doing their job. I had to make a phone call (a lengthy one at that) during the switching process and Rafa simply waited and dealt with other customers without rushing me. When I was finished, we picked up where we left off, without missing a beat. I noticied that a customer left calling Rafa a jerk, but she was a little on the essentric side with a few banana peels in her pockets. I digress.. Rafa was professional with that customer and wished her a nice day. I ended up getting a sweet deal that knocked off the activation fee in place of going unlimited for a month. I will go back to the 5GB plan before they charge me unlimited next month. And now my phone is just loving being connected where ever I go!!

My wife and I have been going to best buy since 2009. We have bought cell phones, Tvs, speakers…read morelaptops security cameras, and so much more here they have it. Every time we go to any of the locations mainly the Marysville one but we have always been treated with the most up most respect and they have even help us with price comparisons on an occasion or two. They are always super friendly and it's always easy if we need tech support for an item. You can call, go online or even in store for most anything, I do perfer in store the most. If there was any questions that one didn't know for sure they would go and make sure they had the right answer. No smoke blowing here just to get a sell. I would like to say thanks to the Everett and Marysville location keep up the great work.

I've never had any luck shopping at this store. The employees stand around chatting with others…read moreand aren't interested in helping you, however in January, I took a chance and ended up spending $700 on a new cell phone. The employee talked me into buying a unique charging device for an additional $40. It worked great until the end of April when it literally "fell apart "! it's defective and can't be fixed. I returned it to the store with the original box asking for an exchange since it's obviously a manufactures defect. The employee told me "it's against their policy" to honor anything after 30 days! I HAD THE RECEIPT, the box and the item. He could see it waa defective and told me to contact the company! Just one more reason I will never set foot in that store again and caution everyone else to do the same! They deserve to go out of business! It's a terrible company and their customer service doesn't exist! Good luck if you decide to shop here, but I encourage you to look at other stores before parting with your money!

Let me preface this review by mentioning that I take very good care of my cell phones. My last one…read moreI had for 4 years, but it was time to upgrade to something faster. I went to Universal Phones in Everett and bought a Galaxy S10+ . When Dia, the sales lady, asked me if I wanted to purchase tempered glass and a protective case for an additional $50, I agreed, let's do it. I immediately noticed that the case didn't seem to fit well, that there were issues getting the side buttons to work thru the case. I was assured that everything was fine and my phone had "good protection" now.  Well the tempered glass didn't even last 3 weeks. I noticed a chip on the edge of the glass, which quickly formed into a crack across the entire faceplate.  I removed the tempered glass, and the case seemed to fit better, I could actually press the side buttons thru the case now. Three months later,  the case is useless.  The plastic around the charge port was pretty thin, and it began to break apart. Today the whole side of the case cracked and broke off.  Absolute garbage! For $15, they will replace the tempered glass, but considering they didn't set it properly and chipped it the first time, I wasn't going to give them more money for ltheir incompetence. They prefer you to pay them with cash, but I don't walk around with $400 in my pocket, so they charged me an additional $15 for using my debit card. Just a total money grab. I'm hoping someone will find this review helpful and save them from being suckered. Don't waste your money at Univeral Phones.

I heard of this place from offerup while searching for a phone…read more I was searching for an IPhone Xs Max & stumbled upon an individual posting for this company with a long list of phones that week that were supposedly on special. The other deal I had with a private party fell through so I decided to stop in their store. One weird thing is they only accepted cash app as a form of payment... They only had one XS Max so I didn't get the option to choose I also picked out a couple accessories but when I got to my car I looked at my receipt and it was nearly $200 more than the original ad claimed it would be!!! I immediately went back inside and was shut down and told because of the color and condition of the device I wouldn't qualify for the special that that specific one had already sold and that i I could not get a refund!!!! BS!!! All their phones are said to be "grade a" and the color of the phone is irrelevant for all major phone carriers and price difference!!! They offered no sort of solution and pretty much said oh well RUDE!
