To make matters worse, the behavior of the front desk staff, particularly Jeanette, was extremely unprofessional. Her tone was rude, argumentative, and completely inappropriate for someone in a customer-facing role. When I calmly expressed my concerns, she repeatedly interrupted me, raised her voice, and ultimately hung up the phone on me. A quick glance at recent Google reviews shows that this is not an isolated incident--several others have mentioned similar experiences with her. Management seriously needs to review these complaints and take immediate corrective action. Had my interaction with Jeanette been handled professionally, I might have been more understanding about the delay. Instead, this encounter turned a frustrating situation into an infuriating one. I got hit with some bad genetics and have advanced arthritis for my age. I had a C4-C6 cervical fusion 4 years ago and ortho said I would have to be fused from T1-S1 (that's my whole spine basically) and he does not want put me through that so sent me to pain management which I thought would be great but they have dropped the ball on scheduling my spinal injections and I've suffered for months due to bad communication. I've had a pinched nerve in my neck since May and had a trigger point injection from my pain management that lasted all of 3 hours. They said I couldn't get another for 3 months. I call in August and they said they could get me in for October 7th. Which brings me back to AFC. I was in the back in less than 15 minutes from checking in. Dr. Zhang came in and gave the best handshake and let me just say is bedside manner is superb. I explained to him my issue, showed him my x-rays and MRI's, and it took him no time to start a plan. He examined me and saw how hard the knot in my shoulder was as how the inflammation had spread. He immediately said you need a spinal surgeon. Gave me a referral to follow up, placed orders for imaging, and gave me a powerful steroid injection that started working literally immediately. This was not your run of the mill steroid shot. He gave me something that would actually work. It is now the next day and the knot in my shoulder is gone! I slept through the night and haven't been able to do that since May for trying to find a position to put my arm in to take pressure of the nerve. It has been beyond miserable. But I woke up this morning feeling amazing! This is the best I've felt in a really long time and just want to say thank them for such great care! They have even followed up with me today to see how I was feeling. I've worked in healthcare in one capacity or another my entire career. I've been on the IT side of things now for a decade but I remember being in direct patient care and this is the type of experience I wanted my patients to have every visit.

He is very friendly and takes the time to make sure all concerns are covered. I have recently moved my 16 year old daughter from her pediatrician to HSE and she also feels comfortable. I prefer seeing Dr, Ermac, simply because we started with him and he is wonderful but we have seen several others and they are all equally as great. I have recommended them to my parents who have a lot of medical concerns because I truly believe they are the best. They have a lab upstairs and I have never had to wait to have blood drawn. I have always been seen the same day if deemed necessary. Nurses are also very friendly and equally as caring. I was shocked reading the reviews because as many times as we have been there the only real issues we had was when they first opened. Never overcharged, only waited longer than normal once and it was flu season. I can only assume they went in on a really bad day, which happens anywhere. The only downsides would be they always charge and add'l fee for the flu shot, which doesn't make sense because my insurance covers it. We just go to CVS instead. I went to my PCP who prescribed antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medication. Nobody call me from MedExpress. I am still in pain and my shoulder is not the same after that injection.
