I went in for employee vaccination. I got my vaccine, My arm started getting swollen and painful the next day. I was in pain and could not move my arm. Took over the counter medication to relief pain. I returned to MedExpress to show them how my arm was swollen to see if they can do anything. They gave me run around, ask for insurance. I ask to speak with a supervisor, Nobody wanted to talk to me unless I provide my insurance. The front desk lady kept going back and forth to the back to talk to someone and finally she gave me a card( the manager) contact and told me i will be called. I went to my PCP who prescribed antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medication. Nobody call me from MedExpress. I am still in pain and my shoulder is not the same after that injection. Be careful who and how the vaccine is being administered at this clinic. read more

They have some of the rudest people working here... they have no sense of customer service or know to speak with their customers. They can not provide any answer as to how long you will have to wait even when it's been well over an hour. I had to call multiple times and was put on hold 5 of them before I was even able to check in. I came for a pre employment drug screen and was met by one of the rudest front desk personnel ever... the person completely the test was also equally rude a d spoke to me as I was a five year old when I was unable to give a sample due to needing to go after waiting over an hour in my car, she has so much attitude when telling me what was going to have to happen... I am so appalled by how I have been treated, if not could reschedule elsewhere I would..: do NOT come to this facility. Oh let me add a little extra nugget or rudeness. I was on the phone having a conversation and the front desk lady proceeded to interrupt me literally just talking while I was on the phone changing my next appointment because of how long I was already at this location. I said excuse me but I'm on the phone. She then gave me some excuse line and I asked why she was even bothering to explain herself because it wasn't necessary... I have been a regular at MedExpress for sick visits/ employer related visits and enjoy the services they have to offer. The staff is kind and very attentive with questions that I may have regarding check in, billing, insurance. I did experience a wait time for a covid test but I did not mind because I was pleased with the fact that I was going to be seen by a medical provider as well for my symptoms. I think people have a misconception that this is a drive thru covid testing site and it IS NOT. It is an Urgent Care facility! Overall, I have been very pleased with my visit at MedExpress and would recommend it. read more

I called in to see if my insurance would work, they said yes over the phone. I get to the place 15 mins later and they tell me they are at full capacity and can't see anyone till tomorrow. BEWARE - I called at 2:39 to take a COVID test. They told me I could just pull up and call when I'm there and they will immediately help me. At 2:52 I arrived and they took all my info and told me it'll be a few minutes. At 3:19 they called me to tell me the nurse on duty was out having lunch but was around the corner would be quick. At 3:48 pm they called me to tell me I can go inside. Customer service was great, they took my temp (98 degrees) the little finger oxygen thingy (99/98) and my other vitals. The assistant was very polite, you could tell she was new it was cute... after she did the nasal swab I asked if she could email me the results and she said that it will be online and I can just follow a link. So I said great could I leave? She said one quick moment because the nurse on duty had to see me before I left... which I understand that because that's a legal procedure involved in my company too... but after a few minutes of waiting in my room I stepped outside and asked if I could please get the woman that was previously helping me... and this nurse (couldn't get her name but she is screenshoted below) got a whole nasty tone and attitude with me and said "go back in your room and I will give you your results in a minute". Which was RUDE!!!! So of course I had to clarify to this woman that I was told something different in my room and all I wanted to know was if I could wait in my car... and that's when all the drama started... she literally got her people to call 911 on me because I was recording... but I was recording because I asked her someone to write down her name and they would not. And then when I asked for a receipt or records of the information they put down/proof that I was there, they said they were going TO GET RID OF IT!!! The young lady in the front said they were taking it down in the back as we spoke. So I do not recommend you go here for COVID test results... not trustworthy really sketchy. read more

Horrible experience at this location. I'm a first responder and unfortunately was told I have a condition that wouldn't allow me to perform my duties at work safely. I was told by nurse practitioner Ashley that she would only allow me 2 days off from work. I've never been treated so badly at any other urgent care locations. I simply asked for an additional 2 days off so I can perform my duties safely at work. I'm unable to work due to not being able to function properly. I do not recommend this location. I have insurance and could have just went to see a "DR" for a cheaper rate. Ashely stated that she tried calling me multiple times yet I had no missed calls. After telling Ashley I was going to write a yelp review she stated she was going to get in contact with her supervisor. Ashely then observed me writing a yelp review and stated that her supervisor was out of town and she was then going to make the "executive decision" to allow me an additional 2 days off from work. I would never bring my kids to a place like this. read more

Horrible front desk service. No empathy what's so ever for people that are scared and confused on whats going on with this pandemic. Look, I fully understand the stress and work load the medical staff have had, Ive deployed to Iraq 3 times...but if you can't handle the stress, go work for Burger King or something. You still have to have some kind of customer service. It begun with some front desk lady came out and just started with..."who's taking the test, where's your insurance card, what's your number, what's your social..." and we tried to tell her that my wife was also taking it and she got frustrated and begun with..."ya messing me up". So I got the rapid and my wife got the regular, because she wasn't showing any symptoms although we said our son was living at home and he tested positive. It's been 5 days and we haven't heard from them about my wife's test results. When I tried to call two days ago, the lady who answered was not cooperating at all! She was upset that I called to see if the test result was in for my wife! She asked if they have called, I said no, but I just wanted to know if the results where in. She said, we will call you when they are in. I asked if there's a time window or something bc my wife's job is asking and no empathy at all. They're answer was, we'll call you when the results are in. It's been 5 days! Never again at this place! Or I don't recommend at all! There's a lot better places then this one...like all of them. This update is due to Katie who asked me to respond to her at the email . This was not the email I was given by Billing. I thought it was but when I emailed I received a call and she resolved the issue for me. Not sure if it was Katie but she talked to my husband. She was incredibly understanding of my situation and frustration. She said the doctor told her that he referred me to another doctor which is simply not true. She then said it was a misunderstanding and said she will take care the collection issue. That's the main thing that we were mad about was that no one reached out to us before sending to collections. At any rate , I am very pleased that someone understands and is due to the people who asks us to reach out to them. If you have issues , do contact them. Thanks again Katie. If I could give ZERO STARS, I definitely would. This is by far the worst experience & wait ever. I will most definitely let my Company know not to send Employees here for any testing. I checked in at 11:50 am & was advised a 10 minute wait. It is now 1:15 & I have yet to be seen by the Provider. It does NOT take over an hour to complete a breathalyzer, urine test & basic physical. NEVER would I waste my time here & most definitely not recommend this place. Ashley the Provider finally came in the room at 1:30. She listened to my heart & was I incredibly rude. She told me to my face "use your brain" when she asked why I didn't bring my glasses to a physical & then she said "where is your brain". I asked her why are you so rude? She did not complete my physical because I advised her she can not speak to me in that manner. She told me to leave & would report me to my company that she was unable to complete my physical. I am contacting the corporate office regarding this matter but I'm sharing my experience here for all to see. read more

This place is amazing there may be a wait as in any clinic, but the staff works hard and never stops for lunch or breaks!! They see all urgent care cases as well as COVID testing! No appointments needed first come first serve! Be prepared to wait in car for registration and triage, then they call you in facility masked to see Nurse Practitioner! Please be patient and call when in Parking lot to get on schedule!! You will see a Provider here not just testing center!! The services we received are what you would hope to get when seeking care. The last place many of want to go to when sick is an urgent care, which many times are the armpit of health care. This place sets a new standard in healthcare providers. Our insurance company, Aetna, recommended Med express when my wife was seeking care for a sinus infection on a Saturday. The staff was friendly, experienced and professional. The building is brand new with modern equipment. Even though it appeared to be rather busy, we where immediately greeted and all information needed was taken by a friendly receptionist. Within minutes we were taken back for vitals by Mark who was extremely kind and professional and with in another several minutes she was seen by a PA and was given a diagnosis and a plan for treatment. we would highly recommend this facility if you are seeking care. This was my second visit... I took my kiddo here once for an eye infection and another for a sore throat. The staff is absolutely amazing and the doctor (Ashley Ray) was very professional and her bed manners are profound. I am so happy they opened in my area. Came in (Morton Ranch Rd in Katy) for an annual physical and prescription refill after my primary care doctor left practice, unannounced. Received a 30-day refill. Came back after 30 days because provider did not tell me that there would be no additional refills, only that he could only give 30-day prescriptions. Found a primary care doctor but thought I would be able to get another 30 days to fill the gap bc i received no information to the contrary. Subsequent, different provider refused to be understanding and assumed initial clinic provider explained the procedure related to refills. Second provider only authorized a 7-day refill. Changed my new primary care appointment to earliest available but still had a 5-day gap. Returned to clinic to get another emergency refill for 5 days. This provider (Morton Ranch Rd on 12/11 at approx. 6:20PM) wasn't really interested in understanding my situation. Possibly, system notes included assumption that initial provider explained procedure. Provider asked me questions from her workspace and had me yell from the lobby, competing with television volume and while other patients came in. Provider last name was similar to Tippone or Tiptone Seemed annoyed that I would reasonably prefer to not yell from the lobby so she sarcastically said to the receptionist, "since he doesn't want to yell, tell him to come to the back (at her workspace)." That's unprofessional, antagonizing and inconsiderate of my privacy (not HIPAA, my personal privacy) I left and don't plan to ever return even though this location is 1 mile away. Went to Next Level Urgent Care on Fort Bend County Rd the next day and provider offered to give me a 90-day supply if I wanted since my body was used to it (since 2015) and she didn't think I should have to scramble for a daily prescription. Easily got a 30-day supply to fill a 5-day gap! read more

I called ahead to make an appointment for a drug screen. They informed me to just come in before 7pm. I get there and follow procedures. They quickly asked me first when the date of my screening expires. They basically sent me home stating that the person on this role went home sick and couldn't perform the drug screen. Really!? Not only did they waste my gas money and time, but to just not try to help me!? So unprofessional. I'm sure anyone could have performed that person's job!! They just had to give me a cup!! read more

First off, the woman on the phone is completely rude. Barks things at you through the phone, and doesn't listen to anything you say, and speaks over you. Secondly, she gives wrong directions for how the entire establishment works. First she tells you to get an appointment, and you can only get one while being outside the building. They will tell you what the wait time is, then the wait time will jump another 2 hours even though you have an appointment. Then once you call them, confused as to what is going on, they tell you appointments don't exist here. The same woman was on the phone every time and her attitude and the way she carries herself through her job is completely absurd. I've been here once before this, and they took my money, didn't give me any sort of treatment, then shoved me out with a prescription that they read off a list. This place is an utter joke. DO NOT GO HERE. If you need an urgent care, go to Next Level Urgent Care on Kingsland Blvd. You will be doing your sanity a favor if you never go to this place. Its horrible. read more

I went for Covid testing on Dec 24 and they said they were so backlogged and it could be 4-6 hours. They took my number and said you are checked in and we will call you and to be here in 10 minutes once they call. 2 hrs later they called and I only waited 15 minutes. They are amazing! read more

This urgent care is convenient and every time I have gone there I have had a great experience in person. That being said, there is a specific phone representative there that is incredibly rude every time I call. If she answers when I pick up- I try to call back later and get someone else. I know during covid it is tough right now but the people who are calling are obviously very sick and having a bad attitude and being short/ insensitive really doesn't make anyone feel better. It is very clear that when she picks up the phone, her goal is to get off as soon as possible. I would probably give 5 stars if it weren't for this specific person- she really makes it feel like they don't care, no matter how sick you are. read more

Wife's been here twice In different occasions and both times they weren't helpful, first time she had the flu and they basically told her to sleep it off it was too late to treat it since she was coming out of it. Second time she had a fever all night we got it under control and took her there in the morning. Again they told her no meds needed to go back if it gets worse. No shots no antibiotics nothing. Do they know what urgent means? If we had time to go back we would schedule and appointment with our doctor. This place will not treat you. There are plenty of other urgent cares that will take care of you better. read more
