We had a party of 4. Started off well with the calamari appetizer, which was good. Our waiter was very nice. Unfortunately, the entrees were not great. One of us had the veal, which was not good. Another had the Chicken Diavolo, which was not edible. The chicken was so overcooked, it was difficult to cut into it. It was very dry and the sauce was bland. Instead we ordered a pizza to replace this (we paid for everything). When the pizza came, it did look good. However, it was "not cut"--literally no cuts on the crust at all. Since there were no sharp knives, we asked for our wait staff to have them cut it. He took it back and returned it and we thanked him. When trying to eat it, it would not come apart. Lifted up the pizza and it. was. not. cut. Needless to say, we won't be back. read more

"Alfredo" Gnocchi. Side of Pesto. Margarita Pizza. My husband and I both agreed this was not Alfredo sauce. No clue what kind of sauce I got. The Gnocchi was very off in taste and texture. The Pesto was decent. I asked if they could do half Alfredo and half Pesto and they said no, but they could add Pesto on the side for an extra charge. Kinda silly, but okay. Good thing because the "Alfredo" wasn't very good at all. The Margarita Pizza was not bad. Nothing to write home about. If you want Tomatoes that's extra. It's a good size Pizza. Service was fine. For the price of this place we were expecting much better. It didn't taste fresh and it was odd to us how quickly our food came out. After we left we both were looking around at all the other places we would have been happier with for less money. We paid about $60 for a very mediocre experience. This was the first time trying them and I doubt we will be back. They definitely left us wishing we'd have spent our money elsewhere. read more

Absolutely AWFUL experience at one of our favorite restaurants... Our server Alex made our experience tonight terrible to the point of no return. My boyfriend and I love Toscanos for our dinner and drinks date night, we even made reservations for 8:30! Drinks came out without any garnish after ordering with a lime (which really we could've not thrown a fit about but like..) after two rounds and waiting over 10+ minutes for each round it was just annoying. When we order our entrees, after our first round, my boyfriend requested no mushrooms in his entree and to our surprise came out with mushrooms. We kindly said we would not like the kitchen to re-make another dish, as it was already 9:20, and we waited another 10 minutes for Alex to come back. We finally asked another server named Jackson to give us a Togo box for my dish and asked to close out. Of course my boyfriend's dish was still on the receipt.. when we finally got it corrected and told the manager he didn't give a shittttt about the experience tonight, he didn't even ask who our server was. Wouldn't you want to know that? The person that caused two liter customers to never come back again??Absolutely will not be returning and if you're considering spending a good evening out with your loved one, I suggest staying home and enjoying you're time together because Toscanos could care less about the experience you have! 0/5 stars read more

Toscano never disappoints! We had such a great experience again, and our server Errol was absolutely fantastic, attentive, friendly, and made the night feel effortless. The food was delicious as always, but the real star for us is the lemon leche cake, it's perfection and truly keeps us coming back for more. After years of driving passed this beautiful building I finally tried it out. We had a reservation, although I feel like we would have been fine without it. We asked to sit in the greenhouse section and they were able to accommodate us, however keep in mind the time of day as the sun was blinding. Our waiter was very kind however and happy to move us. The plants and water features were fun, but pretty lackluster until the lights came on. Even then I think inside would have been a better atmosphere. I thought the food was great, but nothing special. The parmesan dough bites were definitely the star of the show - like a savory beignet. I got the carbonara, I was a little surprised by the egg just being on top not already mixed in - but it wasn't a problem. I did have a few pieces of burned meat as well. My husband and dad enjoyed their lasagna, but my mom didn't love her chicken alfredo. The service was incredible, the staff were very kind and accommodating. Our waiter was quick to complete any requests and happy to make suggestions. Our drinks were always filled. Plates were cleared away quickly and we were checked on often. read more

Overpriced. Terrible experience. Was expecting high quality for the $25-35 entrees. We ordered the Pork Chop and Carbonara. I've never sent food back in a restaurant other than to adjust the cooking of a steak once or twice. This Pork Chop was so tough and swimming in salt that I didn't even want a replacement entree. I took a bite of my sides (mashed potatoes - dry. And broccoli), my broccoli was so salty it made me wince! So I sent my food back and my boyfriend and I shared his bland Carbonara (Olive Garden has better carbonara in my opinion). Our server was fantastic but her reaction to me sending food back tells me it might be more common than you'd think. Never returning to this restaurant. read more

I had a hankering for some Italian. I really wanted a small, hole-in-the-wall kind of place but my wife made reservations here while I was taking a nap. Like any good husband, I realized all future naps may hinge on my response to her showing initiative so I thanked her and left it at that. I am a creature of habit. At a steak place, I am having steak. Italian, it will be chicken parmesan with angel hair pasta. My wife is the wild card. This time, it was Lasagna. We got off to a rocky start. They don't offer angel hair pasta as an option. Okay, I will adjust. When the plates hit the table I dove in with optimism. That same optimism waned quickly. Their chicken breast appeared to have been beaten like a mouthy passenger on a Mike Tyson flight. It was thin. I mean, supermodel kind of thin. I would rate the temperature as lukewarm at best. It was as if mine hung out while they finished my wife's lasagna, which arrived too hot to eat. For the record, she loved her meal. Plenty hot, melted cheese and tasty meat sauce. Mine felt like something I would have pulled off the chow line at a cafeteria. I held out hope, their dessert would save the review. It didn't. Our waiter offer a scoop of free gelato since they didn't have the pasta I wanted. I was already eyeing the chocolate lava cake so I opted to pass on the gelato. Did they comp the lava cake? Nope. Guess I should have stuck with gelato. So how was the cake? About as warm as my mean. Far from lava, I again felt like I was in a cafeteria. The whole meal just fell flat for me here. My wife did enjoy her dessert, but she did mention it was a little thin. This was a hard 3-star for me. If I wanted Olive Garden quality, I would have gone there.
